OUR U.S. MILITARY ALLOWED A PERSON LIKE HASAN TO BE IN THE MILITARY ‘BECAUSE’ OUR MILITARY IS NOT PREJUDICED AGAINST MUSLIM’S AS HASAN SELFISHLY PUBLICLY SELF-ACCLAIMED. (There is no government control media hiding that knowledge from our American public that allows a group to spin any anti-American propaganda about prejudice otherwise.)
HASAN JUST WOULD NOT GIVE THE U.S. MILITARY ANY CREDIT FOR WHAT PUBLIC POSITION THE MILITARY GAVE HIM, AS HE APPARENTLY HAS NOT GIVEN AMERICA’S WAYS AND LAWS AGAINST MURDER ANY RESPECT. (I am sure that there are some psychiatrists, who happen to be Muslim, who would have loved the position that the U.S. Military gave Hasan. It was obvious that Hasan was one Muslim who did not appreciate what the U.S. Military gave him as other Muslim U.S. Soldiers do appreciate.)
I have not that much compassion for Hasan because all of us, including U.S. Soldiers, of different ethnicities are in these difficult wars too. There are no ‘understandable reason’s’ and excuses for what Hasan did, none.
Good morning, DEMS!
NO TROLLS ALLOWED
(Nyuck Nyuck)
Citing allegations by Hasan of anti-Muslim harassment, without verifying the source and their source, the New York Times reported, ‘At times, he complained, too, about harassment, once describing how someone had put a diaper in his car, saying, “That’s your headdress.” In another case cited by relatives, someone had drawn a camel on his car and written under it, “Camel jockey, get out!”’ (I want to see the written complaints reported by Hasan. O.K., New York Times?)
NOTHING DESCRIBES BETTER THE OVER-CONSCIENTIOUS DIVERSE UNITED STATES THAN THE NEW YORK TIMES CITING ANTI-MUSLIM PREJUDICE AGAINST HASAN WITHOUT VERIFYING THE SOURCE AND NOTHING CAN BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF MORE FREELY BY A FUMING IDIOT ON A PUBLIC MISSION. (This reminds me of 9/11 terrorists demanding their American lawyer from the U.S. Justice Department after publicly disrespecting U.S. Justice laws against murder; where even the New York Times is handing out free tissue against ‘any’ allegations of prejudice.)
Our U.S. Military Forces and our U.S. Public are the most diverse in the world, and I have a very hard time believing that their was too much, if any, harsh prejudice launched against this person. Does this person have witnesses? Are we sure the psychiatrist was not hallucinating these acts of prejudice? Even if a few others were making fun of him, we cannot allow others (like some children in school) to think it is O.K. or tolerable to kill people after being harassed; no matter what self-important things they may believe.
Major Hasan gave no valid testament to psychiatrists around the world, let alone in America, and no moral testament to the mentally challenged of which he was said to have treated. He violently defied protecting the very life of the U.S. Military meant to protect American life, of which he financially claimed to be a part. (So let us talk about what Major Hasan did not believe, not what outrageous things he may have believed. He did not believe that America’s ways earned any respect for what respect he had achieved in his American life, terrorist or no terrorist.)
I hope that American Muslim's who do appreciate the U.S. Military and America's Laws against murder speak out, speak up for our country and their own ethnicity.
How have other American Musiims come to appreciate our ways of life and our laws against murder as compared to other Muslim societies in the world who do differently? Do they have relatives who have achieved a wonderful dramatic self respect in coming to a country like America which does value life?
This list will grow as information leaks out.

Good afternoon, all.
Just stopping by today.
Murdoch could block Google searches entirely

Rupert Murdoch says he will remove stories from Google's search index as a way to encourage people to pay for content online.
In an interview with Sky News Australia, the mogul said that newspapers in his media empire – including the Sun, the Times and the Wall Street Journal – would consider blocking Google entirely once they had enacted plans to charge people for reading their stories on the web...
http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009/nov/09/murdoch-google
This is great news. Can you imagine anyone paying for Faux News content?
The people who currently watch his news programs or read his papers get it free as part of a package deal or through the web. Most of the teabaggers either couldn't afford to pay for it or are too stingy.
Just think, when sane people do a search in the future, they will be saved the chore of rooting out the Birther nonsense. Talk about cutting your influence and making yourself insignificant.
Murdock must be getting senile or has become so greedy he can't figure out that the only way his message reaches the world is through its free access. Either way, I'll give him a high five for this stupid move.
The lights are going out at Birther Central. Enjoy it while you can, stooges.

The conservatives are hurting, too? I can't imagine them downsizing their publicity flack operations at this crucial stage of the health care debate? Who will tell their lies and keep The Cause going?
Look at these shameful numbers: Bush and the Republicans did a job on this country, didn't they?
Development: US fails to measure up on 'human index'· Nation slumps from 2nd to 12th in global table
· Richest fifth take home $168,000, poorest $11,000
Ashley Seager The Guardian, Thursday 17 July 2008 Article historyDespite spending $230m (£115m) an hour on healthcare, Americans live shorter lives than citizens of almost every other developed country. And while it has the second-highest income per head in the world, the United States ranks 42nd in terms of life expectancy.
These are some of the startling conclusions from a major new report which attempts to explain why the world's number-one economy has slipped to 12th place - from 2nd in 1990- in terms of human development.
The American Human Development Report, which applies rankings of health, education and income to the US, paints a surprising picture of a country that spends well over $5bn each day on healthcare - more per person than any other country.
The report, Measure of America, was funded by Oxfam America, the Conrad Hilton Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation. It shows each of the 11 countries that rank higher than the US in human development has a lower per-capita income.
Those countries score better on the health and knowledge indices that make up the overall human development index (HDI), which is calculated each year by the United Nations Development Programme.
And each has achieved better outcomes in areas such as infant mortality and longevity, with less spending per head.
(THIS IS WHY THEY SAY PEOPLE IN OTHER COUNTRIES ARE DYING TO COME OVER HERE, HAHA.)
STILL SMILE OVER THESE NUMBERS, DEMS.........
Despite those mixed reviews on domestic priorities, Obama continues to hold a big political advantage over Republicans.
Poll respondents are evenly divided when asked whether they have confidence in Obama to make the right decisions for the country's future, but just 19 percent express confidence in the Republicans in Congress to do so. Even among Republicans, only 40 percent express confidence in the GOP congressional leadership to make good choices.
Only 20 percent of adults identify themselves as Republicans, little changed in recent months, but still the lowest single number in Post-ABC polls since 1983. Political independents continue to make up the largest group, at 42 percent of respondents; 33 percent call themselves Democrats.
The wide gap in partisan leanings and the lack of confidence in the GOP carries into early assessments of the November 2010 midterm elections: Fifty-one percent say they would back the Democratic candidate in their congressional district if the elections were held now, while 39 percent would vote for the Republican. Independents split 45 percent for the Democrat, 41 percent for the Republican.

Dems blast Sessions women-to-smokers comparison
Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Tex.), the head of the Republicans campaign committee, caused a stir at last night's Rules Committee meeting when he suggested that treating female-related health conditions was comparable to insurance-company imposed restrictions on smokers.
"Why should a woman pay more than a man?" asked New Jersey Democrat Frank Pallone, according to the Courthouse News Service.
"Well, we're all different," Sessions explained. "Why should a smoker pay more?" he said before interrupted.
That prompted major pushback from Democrats, who say that it proves that House Republicans don't care about working-class women.
“The NRCC and extreme right wing of the Republican Party are totally out of step with women," said Jennifer Crider, spokeswoman for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
"First, the NRCC says that a man ought to put the first woman Speaker of the House ‘in her place.' ...I don't know what's scarier, whether NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions actually believes women are second class citizens or whether he believes it's political beneficial for the NRCC to say so."
http://www.politico.com/blogs/glennthrush/
And why should women pay high premiums to pay for men who want to take Viagra or to cover their bladder and prostate problems? Don't most of their plumbing problems stem from drinking too much beer? That sounds like a smoking choice to me.
Anti-abortion measures dictate that most poor women must have a baby even though their policies don't cover birth control pills or they were raped.
Sessions needs to keep it zipped up.
bbl, maybe.

Dufus if your going to post, post something for a change thats got some substance to it.
Your idiot nonsense, gets really old.
afternoon Chassie.
Yeah, it is something---that of ALL Americans, only 20% still say they are Republican. NOT JUST CONSERVATIVE,, BUT REPUBLICAN, PERIOD.
Your wife said something very prolific yesterday.
She said she could not understand why ANYBODY would be against health care for all!!
That IS mind boggling isn't it ! It tells the character of the person, when they do not care that people lose everything they own because of a catastrophic illness or injury, or they die because they have no health insurance.
The wallet becomes more important than these people!!
Quite an eye opening.........
oh yeah Red-Dog, the economy is doing really bad, that's the reason the stock market is up 400 points, in the last 2 trading days. The only thing wrong with the economy is JOBS, and they always LAG the economy. And were going to change that by next years, mid terms.
PamB on November 9, 2009 at 01:54 PM
Yes Pam, my wife is quite adamant about health care, she has worked in health care for 19 years. She has watched good people cry, because of losing everything that they worked all there life to attain. Because of the crooked health care companies. She has told me more stories about this subject then i could ever remember. And they are horrific. People outside of health care, don't have a clue, unless they are around it everyday like my wife, has been.
Pam, and another thing that i was going to say, is my wife loves people, she has never met a stranger in her life. I couldn't do what she does for no amt. of money. It reallly takes a special person to do what she has done. Hell she would even take care of Steve, shitting all over himself. I couln't or wouldn't. She's sweet, if she had to take care of Steve, and she has took care of a few just like Steve. Most of them love her when they are dismissed, and tell me how lucky i am to have her. Of course i already know that.
And I worked in the Health Insurance industry, Chassie.
I sold Individual plans, IF the person was totally free of anything that later would come back and maybe cause a claim. for instance, once I had a guy merely list he had had marriage counseling from a psychologist. Well he got rejected-----REASON? He obviously had mental problems and might try and commit suicide.
Also serviced small and large group plans over the years. One of my jobs was the client advocate, when their employees had claim problems. You should SEE some of the things rejected as not being 'medically necessary'!! And we were told on the QT by the Insurance companies Claims Reps, that there were incentives and bonuses if you kept your claim ratio down. So they rejected everything they could, in hopes the person would not question it.
It is definetly time to rein in these companies and make them have some guidelines. But of course, they give big dollars to the Repugs, so they do not dare to say a word or make a law that they do not want.

Stocks jump after G-20 pledge to aid economies
By IEVA M. AUGSTUMS and TIM PARADIS, AP Business Writers Ieva M. Augstums And Tim Paradis, Ap Business Writers – 43 mins ago
NEW YORK – Stocks jumped to new highs for the year Monday as the dollar extended its slide, boosting prices for commodities including gold and oil. Energy and materials stocks led the market higher.
Investors were also buying stocks on growing confidence about the global economic recovery, getting a shot of optimism from news this weekend that the Group of 20 countries will keep stimulus measures in place. Investors saw the agreement as a signal that interest rates would remain low. Major stock indexes rose more than 1 percent, including the Dow Jones industrial average, which rose 150 points.
Investors around the world are seeing the dollar as weaker than other currencies because of low U.S. interest rates, and so they're using it for what's known as "carry trade," to finance purchases of investments in other countries. That trend takes the dollar down when those purchases are made.
The stock market likes a weaker dollar because it helps U.S. exporters by making their goods cheaper to overseas buyers and giving the companies a boost when they convert profits from abroad to dollars
In early afternoon trading, the Dow rose 154.40, or 1.5 percent, to 10,177.82. The index rose as high as 10,186.21, topping its previous 12-month trading high of 10,119.46 set Oct. 21.
The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 17.93, or 1.7 percent, to 1,087.23, and the Nasdaq composite index rose 32.59, or 1.5 percent, to 2,145.03.
Jason Pride, director of research at Haverford Investments, isn't troubled by the slide in the dollar because he sees it as another sign that fear in the market is easing after the slide of the past two years. Investors rushed into the dollar as they sought the safest assets.

"Employers cut 190,000 jobs from their payrolls last month, the Labor Department reported. That number is also higher than economists expected. August and September job loss figures were, however, revised to show considerably fewer payroll cuts in those months than were previously reported: Employers cut 154,000 jobs in August and 219,000 in September, or about 91,000 less than originally reported.
The very bad news: Job losses continued to be centered in construction and manufacturing. These two industries have been absolutely hammered by this recession (Bush's). Construction employment has now fallen by 1.6 million since December 2007, the first month of the recession. Manufacturing employment has fallen by 2.1 million over the same period.
The steep increase in the unemployment rate, which is measured separately from payroll employment, reflected the fact that few workers dropped out of the workforce in October. Typically, well into a long recession, many workers stop looking for work and are no longer counted among the unemployed, which prevents a massive uptick in the unemployment rate. Similarly, if more workers were entering the workforce to look for jobs, it would have pushed the rate even higher. However, the participation rate changed little in October.
The very good news (yes, there is some): Perhaps most promising is the addition of 34,000 jobs in temporary services. From the start of the recession through July of this year, temporary services lost an average of 44,000 jobs monthly. Temp jobs can serve as a useful leading indicator for overall employment: As employers see demand increase, they may test the waters by bringing on temporary help before committing to permanent hires. Tig Gilliam, chief executive of staffing giant Adecco Group North America, says the firm is beginning to see the signs of early recovery, as clients' confidence is increasing. "In fact, right now we're recruiting to fill over 1,000 finance [and] accounting positions, 1,300 more engineering and technical jobs, and an additional 700 IT positions--strong examples that job opportunities exist even in this still challenging labor market," Gilliam says.

Your wife sounds like a genuinely good person, Chassie.
My husband is a lot like that---he never sees bad in people. Everybody is his friend. If everybody he has loaned money to over the years, showed up today with it, we would be rich! He is never too busy to drop his own work, and go help a neighbor. My sister is a widow, and he takes care of her stuff like he does his own. He loves his grandkids and they love him.
He is a Man's man. That is how I know what a REAL man is and does. He would not even DREAM of cyber abuse, or attacking people of another political party, race, religion.
So we are both lucky, Chassie. I just put in a 46th Anniversary not long ago.
WHY do Republicans hate Veterans so much??? In fact, the troops?
Senators call on Coburn to lift his hold on veterans benefits bill.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) has placed a hold on a major veterans benefits bill because he wants to use unspent stimulus dollars to fund it. Today, Democratic senators who are advocates of the bill will hold a press conference to highlight Coburn’s obstructionism and call on him to lift his hold:
Democratic Senators are calling on Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) to lift his hold on a veterans’ health bill that Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) hopes to clear before the chamber adjourns this week for a three-day recess.
Sens. Daniel Akaka (D-Hawaii), Jon Tester (D-Mont.) and Mark Begich (D-Alaska) will hold a press conference Monday to rally support for the measure. [...]
In a floor statement Friday, Begich called on Coburn to lift his hold. Other Democratic Senators made similar appeals, but Begich took the rare step of naming Coburn on the Senate floor.
“I am disappointed that my Senate colleague does not feel this same sense of duty and responsibility to our nation’s heroes, who have sacrificed so much for our very right to stand in this body and debate this matter,” Begich said. “There is no good

One of days your going to figure out that i'm not RJ. Pam knows both of us. Dim Bulb.
Pam, maybe Steve, will send you a gold brick on your golden anniversary, in 4 more years. HEE HEE
I feel sorry for the lone Republican, who put his Constituents before his Lock Step, Nazi Party!!
The reaction to Cao from the right wing has been swift and fierce, with some comparing the only non-Hispanic minority in the GOP caucus to Mao Tse Tung and calling him racial epithets. Rep. Don Young (R-AK) — who has defended Cao’s vote — had to stand beside him during Saturday’s roll call, “fending off his GOP colleagues who might have twisted Cao’s arms.” Last week, RNC Chairman Michael Steele made clear that moderates who don’t walk the Party line have no place in the GOP:
So candidates who live in moderate to slightly liberal districts have got to walk a little bit carefully here, because you do not want to put yourself in a position where you’re crossing that line on conservative principles, fiscal principles, because we’ll come after you
Pam, in your earlier post the "Carry Trade" has been working for about 3 to 4 months. Every time the dollar goes down, commodities goes up, and the stock market goes up. When the dollar goes up commodities goes down, and the stock market goes Down.
That's going to reverse, in the very near future. And when the stock market goes up, the dollar will also goes up, which is what is suppose to happen. When this happens Steve's couple of Gold bars, will tank. However Copper will stay up, acct. of there is a big industrial use for it worldwide.
Red-Dog no wonder they call you the dumbest man alive!!!!!! Benji, lives in California, RJ, lives in New Jersey, i live in S. Georgia.
You really need to quit posting ignorance, and post something with some real substance.
Yes Pam, were both extremly lucky, to have spouses like we got. However we got to keep a eye on them. They have always got a extended hand to help anybody they can. Which is a good thing. However, they are also the kind of people that Crooks, like Steve take advantage of. In a heartbeat.
Chassie, Stevie boy will be long dead by the time I am married for the Golden Anniversary ! He is burning himself out with his Hatred, his anger and his mental craziness. They have people locked up---saner than he is !
Don't pay any mind to Dufus Dan. they all KNOW that Benji was Benji, RJ was merely RJ, you are Chassie, etc. It is part of the immature, childish little game they play,------You SEE, they have absolutely NOTHING to say good about their party. Not one Republican leader they can point to and say he is outstanding. Not one Hate show host or Republican reporter that has anything but more hate and lies.
So THIS is all they have.
I have not seen ONE SINGLE thing posted by any of these trolls, that was anything positive about their party. You know-----they may have changed some minds had they been able to, but they are at a loss what to post.
Let them play their silly little games. After all, when it came to important things:
WE WON, THEY LOST, THEIR GUTS HURT !!!

Catass, a couple of days ago you was posting personal info, about me. Now your back to calling me RJ. You can't have it both ways.
Chassie, I too, tried to tell Stevieboy that an expert Financial planner I went to years ago, said unless you like a roller coaster ride, never invest in gold.
It goes way up, and then it falls way down. You see, Stevie is greedy. He wants to wait until the gold is very high, before cashing in. Well, that fall is going to happen quickly and when it does, Stevie will be out of luck. But that's ok, he has nobody to leave anything to anyways. Now that his daughter has a boyfriend, and the court does not order her to stay at Stevie's house, she stays the hell away.
bbl.........
Quit your lying, Dufus. You posted Two Marvins in GA the other day, one with a wife of Cynthia !!!!!!! And you and Stevieboy, whom you feed information to, both do so.
You know, THAT Stevie----- who is so incensed that I dare to post information on his dull, dead man walking life, thinks nothing of posting our's! ! Oh, I have it all, and the day will come when we expose these filthy bastids. I don't want to hear a word from any of them on cyber stalking----THEY STARTED IT, THEY ARE THE TRESPASSERS, THEY ASK FOR IT.
Where is the Confidence?
Dems need to hold their heads high and lead. Voting for and passing Health Care reform will ENSURE re-election and the election of more democrats. Not less.
They need to stand proud and tell their votes,
"Yes, I did help pass Health Care reform to help the people of this great nation.
I helped ensure that Insurance companies can no longer drop your coverage when you get sick.
I helped ensure that people have a place to turn when they lose their coverage.
I helped eliminate fraud and abuse by the insurance companies.
I DID MY JOB!!!!!!"
Stand proud and take credit for the good work you are doing.
Democrats need Confidence!
When Reagan was elected in 1980, He came in with confidence and pushed his agenda through.
When the Republicans took over the house in 1994, they came in with confidence and pushed their agenda through, dispite a Democratic Senate and President.
When the Republicans took full power in 2000, they all lead with Confidence and pushed their agenda through.
The Democrats on the other hand, when Reagan was elected in 1980, coward down hand helped create the biggest deficit since WWII.
When Clinton was elected in 1992, the dems still coward and failed to push Clinton's agenda. The result was a Republican take over of the House in 1994. And the investigation started into the Clinton's personal lives.
In 2000, When the Republicans won full control of our Government, the dems caved again and the end result was 9/11, two wars, largest deficit spending in History and the verge of a second great depression.
The dems, for some stupid reason, think the people are not on their side. Even after the rejection of the Republicans over the past two election cycles, the Dems think they still need to appease the Republicans and that the people are not with them.
Where do they get such nonsense? From the Media and Right Wing Talking points. I read an article on Politico this morning saying how brave some dems were to vote FOR the Health Care Bill dispite representing a Republican district. Huh? The American people want health care reform. What is brave is voting against it because you have a good chance of NOT being re-elected.
Democrats Need to Lead with Confidence. The people ARE on your side, regardless of the Media right wing spin.
READ IT AND WEEP, YOU STUPID FAT HOG...........

Obama to meet Netanyahu at White House
U.S.-Israeli relations have been strained over Jewish settlement issue
WASHINGTON (Reuters)- President Barack Obama was due to hold talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington on Monday amid floundering U.S. efforts to jump-start stalled Middle East peace talks. The meeting between the two leaders is likely to anger Palestinians, who are already frustrated by what they perceive as backsliding by the Obama administration on the contentious issue of Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
An Obama administration official said the president would meet Netanyahu, in Washington to address a forum of North American Jewish leaders, but offered no details about what they would discuss.
There had been doubts about whether Obama would even meet Netanyahu until Sunday afternoon, when the U.S. official confirmed Israeli media reports.
Aides to Netanyahu said the two leaders would discuss the peace process and the nuclear stand-off with Iran...
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33777321/ns/politics-white_house/
I hope these talks go well. The lynchpin to Middle East peace is peace with Israel. We have a golden opportunity here, Mr. President. Let's take advantage.

Supreme Court refuses to stop sniper execution
John Allen Muhammad to be put to death on Tuesday in Virginia
RICHMOND, VA (AP) - The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to block Tuesday's scheduled execution of sniper mastermind John Allen Muhammad. The Court did not comment Monday on why it refused to consider his appeal.
Muhammad is scheduled to die by injection at a Virginia prison for the slaying of Dean Harold Meyers at a gas station during a three-week spree in 2002 across Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
Muhammad and his teenage accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, were also suspected of fatal shootings in other states, including Louisiana, Alabama and Arizona. Malvo is serving a life sentence.
Muhammad still has a clemency petition before Virginia Gov. Timothy M. Kaine.
Muhammad's attorney, Jonathan Sheldon, says "Virginia will execute a severely mentally ill man who also suffered from Gulf War Syndrome the day before Veterans Day."
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33795687/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/
Mr. Sheldon needs to realize that this "severly mentally ill man" killed a dozen people in cold blood. And while I am no fan of executing the mentally ill and I'm against the death penalty, probably, 99% of the time, this is one case where I can look the other way. I would hope they would take the time to do an extensive autopsy as well as keeping brain samples to see what makes people like Mr. Muhammed tick in order to learn ways to detect them before they commit crimes of this nature.
With so many in the Democratic Party becoming indifferent, how will those that lead the Party address their concerns, when they feel they been locked out of the process that governs this nation? This also happened in the Bush Administration when those in charge forgot the rest of the country.
Since today is the anniversary of tearing down the Berlin wall, and their Hero the demented one, why isn't the trolls gloating?

Steele: Some white GOP 'scared of me'
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele said Sunday that he has been in rooms with white Republicans who are “scared” of him.
Responding during a interview to NewsOne’s Roland Martin, who said that “white Republicans have been scared of black folks,” Steele replied: “You’re absolutely right.”
“I’ve been in the room and they’ve been scared of me,” said Steele, the first African-American RNC chairman. “I’m like, ‘I’m on your side.’”
Asked how Republicans can better reach black voters, Steele said the party needs to focus on “education and the economy” and credited Governors-elect Chris Christie in New Jersey and Bob McDonnell in Virginia for running a message that could appeal to black voters.
“You saw in Christie and you saw in McDonnell a door open because they went in and engaged,” he said. “McDonnell was very deliberate about spending.”
Steele specifically pointed to McDonnell, who secured the endorsement of BET founder Sheila Johnson early in his run and used her as one of his top surrogates on the campaign trail. Both GOP candidates, however, lost the black vote by landslide margins according to exit polls.
“Sheila Johnson was on his team. I mean, that was a big deal,” Steele said. “He engaged her and she helped navigate him through that relationship.”
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1109/29341.html
This is one of the few times I can agree with the RNC chair. Newsflash; they're also afraid of the POTUS and Mr. Steele should've recognized and acknowledged that fact, as well.
However, it would appear that Chairman Steele has yet to recognize his token status. This should surprise no one. Republicans aren't exactly known for their intellectual prowess. But, it should be noted that African-Americans like Chairman Steele and Sheila Johnson are color blind when it comes to race relations. They only see green.

A Tea Party party registers in Florida
A Florida conservative has registered an official "Tea Party" with the office of the Secretary of State, and is promising to run candidates against Republicans and Democrats in state and national races."The current system has become mired in the sludge of special interest money that seeks to control the leadership of both parties. It’s time for real change,” says Orlando lawyer Frederic O’Neal, the new party's chairman, who couldn't be reached immediately by phone, in a press release.
A spokeswoman for the Florida Secretary of State, Jennifer Davis, said the party had registered in August, and that its qualified candidates will appear on the ballot in the state.
O'Neal compared his party's role to that of the Conservative Party in New York's 23rd District. Florida, however, lacks the "fusion" rules that has allowed third parties in New York to amass influence by offering their ballot line to acceptable major-party candidates.
It's unclear if O'Neal, who has represented high-profile tax protesters, has the wherewithal to organize a movement that prides itself on spontaneity and existing outside party structures.
The Tea Party will become one of 32 minor political parties certified by the state, including also the Real Food Party of the United States of America, the Prohibition Party, and the Florida Socialist Workers Party. Its website is not live.

Well good for them! Even the tinfoil hat mobs need representation. We sincerely hope y'all put forth a national candidate for 2012. If you need any funding for that, I'm sure there is something we can do to help.
evening Bob,
You know what is going to happen in 2012, right?
The Republican party, that part that has some sane, intelligent people still left, will put out someone probably like Romney.
The Extreme Fringe Right wingers, will throw Sarah Palin with some other screwball on a TeaBagger party.
They will split the vote so badly-----it will be laughable. November 4th, 2008 all over again.
God, it makes me smile to remember it all !!!

Hope springs eternal, eh Frosty? Welcome to our world circa 2003. But remember, Rasmussen is a Republican pollster just like PPP is a Democratic one. Take those numbers with a grain of salt. If unemployment is still in double digits in 2012, they may be correct unless y'all are crazy enough to nominate Sarah Palin or some other teabagger.
Gays organize DNC boycott
Frustration among gay Democrats at the White House's unwillingness to make their issues a first-year priority -- or even, in some cases, to acknowledge them -- is boiling over today in the form of a move to boycott Democratic National Committee fundraising.Gay donors have long been a pillar of the DNC's support -- its treasurer, Andy Tobias, is a veteran gay fundraiser -- and of financial support for Democrats more broadly.
"[T]his campaign is temporary, and is only meant to help some friends - President Obama and the Democratic party - who have lost their way," Americablog's John Aravosis and Joe Sudbay write. "Candidate Obama promised during the campaign to be the gay community’s 'fierce advocate.' He and the Democratic party have not kept their promise."
They're asking readers to pledge not to give to the DNC, OfA, or Obama's campaign "until the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) is passed, Don’t Ask Don’t Tell (DADT) is repealed, and the so-called Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) is repealed -– all of which President Obama repeatedly promised to do if elected."
http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1109/Gays_organize_DNC_boycott.html
This is, at best, a second term issue for the POTUS and, IMHO, should be handled in the second half of the second term. The LGBT Community should recognize the fact that, though they are mostly correct in their assertions, that their political viability is tenuous, at best. CA Prop 8 and ME's recent vote should've sent a clear message; soon, but not yet. The LGBT Community is going to have to wait for majority support. That is how our representative democracy works.
Frosty, the next President will be in 2016
Do you think that you will live this long????????????

If memory serves, Real Clear Politics was the closest in 2004 and 538.com was the closest in 2008. Rasmussen's polls are outliers. His results are always skewed a few to as many as ten points in the GOP's favor. But you go right ahead and rely on it if you want to. Relying on Scott Rasmussen's polling is the equivalent of getting your news from Fox "News".

Steele became GOP "Token Chair" by default. It took SIX votes before enough crackers dropped out so that he could get a plurality.
The "White Old Fat Guys Club"even took away all of his power and told him to shut up.
But he didn't.
He was supposed to be the token Black to be used to show "diversity" just like Sorry FAilin was supposed to be the "POWERFUL FEMALE" (her words) to attract those imaginary 18,000,000,000 women that PUma allegedly "represented".

Dogs have the same five senses as man. The sense of sight, sound, touch, smell and taste.
Smell:
Dogs seem to be always sniffing the ground, the air, trees, objects and humans. They do this not just out of curiosity - it is how they process information about the world around them.
Their nasal passages are designed to receive and trap odours. The scent nerves are large and numerous. Just inside the roof of the mouth is an organ called the Jacobson's organ or the nasal-vomero organ, which helps the dog process the different smells.
The scenting ability of humans is not so highly developed. We have an estimated 5 million olfactory cells used for smelling in a very small area at the back of the nose. By comparison dogs have scent cells spread all over a large area and have an estimated 125-220 million scent cells depending on the size of the dog.
They can use each nostril independently and are good at distinguishing one odour from another and remembering it.
The part of the brain that receives messages from the nerves of the nose is highly developed and can store up scent information like a computer. Sometimes my dog will fail to recognise me if I am dressed differently until I get within his range, for him to identify my scent. Then he wags his tail welcomingly.
Puppies find their mother by using their sense of smell immediately after birth. The Dam will lick them to place her smell on the puppies and then lick her teats to help the puppies find their way back to her. Without their sense of smell at birth the puppies would not be able to find their mother. Without the sense of smell the first imprinting could not even begin. So this is of course the most important sense to a dog._____________________________________________
Looks like Dufus got lost as a puppy.
John, This isn't Danny, it's mentally deranged Stevie. And he doesn't even wash his shorts. Why would he wash his sheets? He probably doesn't even own any new ones since his Star Wars ones wore out.
Dems, this don't have nothing to do with anything, that's been posted, i'm just posting it for all the dog lovers, out their like me. I haven't looked it up, but i'm sure cats are similar.
Good Evening John, nice to see ya.
Dogs, senses!!!
Sight:
To the human this is the second most important sense of all next to touch as without it we could not find our way around by using any other sense. Humans are very visual and we are lost without it. We see well and will go to the expense of buying glasses when our vision begins to fail.
We won't even eat something we don't like the look of, no matter how nice it may smell. Dogs on the other hand smell first and then eat it, what it looks like is not important to the dog. However at night time the dog's sight is superior to ours. The dog's eyes are sensitive to light and movement. They are able to dilate the pupils to take in any light around them in order to see better at night. They cannot see in absolute dark but are good at seeing when there is little light. The dog has many receptor cells or rods and a reflective layer called the tapetum lucidum, which reflects light back to the receptor cells giving the appearance of the eyes glowing in the dark.
Dogs have poor binocular vision so they see a wider view at longer distance rather than close up. This is why they sometimes see something at a distance before humans do, such as a cat in the distance up a tree. This sight is great for hunting and some breeds are used for their ability to sight and hunt or point at long distance such as hounds and pointers.
Another interesting fact is that dogs do see colour. Once people thought that dogs could only see black and white and shades of grey. Experimental evidence shows that dogs can see various distorted shades of green and blue.
Hearing:
The dog's hearing is very similar to human hearing and probably about equally important. He can hear low notes just as we do but his hearing is more acute. He can hear much higher notes and sounds than humans. He can also move his ears around to scan the environment for different sounds. They can hear sound from a greater distance than humans as he moves his ears around to catch the sound waves and locate where the sound is coming from more accurately.
In the wild the dog's ability to hear high pitch sounds helps him to hear, track and locate the sounds of small prey such as mice and rabbits that make high-pitched squeaks.
Taste:
The dogs' tongues are similar to our own. They can detect sweet, sour, bitter and salty just the same way we do. The sense of taste is functioning right from birth when the puppies will be led to the warm texture and sweetness of the milk by their mother's smell and touch.
Food is usually bolted down very quickly by dogs with hardly any chewing or time to taste it. Taste does not seem to be as important as the smell of the food, then the texture and then last of all the taste. I have noticed with my own dogs and tests with dogs have proven that dogs do prefer to eat something smelly and the stronger the smell the better.
Humans have a more refined sense of taste with around 900 taste buds on the tongue, while dogs are thought to have around 1706 taste buds on their tongue.
Touch:
The sense of touch is very important to the dog as it is with humans. I feel this is the most important sense of all to a dog and to humans alike. Without it a puppy could not locate its mother at birth and it could not develop into a normal balanced dog, it would become fearful and with drawn.
At birth the puppies have receptors in their faces so they can locate their mother if they become separated before their eyes are open. The need for touch continues throughout the dog's life and is a very important part of training and reward. For humans touch is also important for the growth and development of a well-balanced child.
Without touch a child would grow without a feeling of being loved, which would have a devastating effect on its adult life. Dogs have sensory nerves all over their bodies, just as humans do. Dogs thrive on being touched and stroked and there are mutual benefits in owning a dog.
Stroking a dog is known to be therapeutic, reducing blood pressure, calming nerves and causing people to live longer. This is why it is beneficial for trained dogs to be taken in to residential homes, hospitals and schools so that those who have no access to animals can stroke them, benefiting both dogs and humans.

Chassie,
trolls have no scents. All their taste is in their ass.
Good evening, all.
I know the military is considered scared to some people in this country, but I've been far from impressed with their record in the past few decades.
Now they have allowed a psycho military psychiatrist who had been acting politically incorrect for months to carry a firearm onto base? He had been reprimanded twice yet they gave him a promotion? Then they decide this disengaged malcontent needs to go to a battle zone and put the entire company into danger with his attitude?
So why is everyone surprised this happened? We are getting that same old excuse that there was a breakdown in the chain-of-command. What command? Why didn't this psychiatrist have his own psychiatrist monitoring his problems?
Somebody in the Pentagon screwed up major. They can't even guarantee discipline within the ranks homeside any longer much less safety on the battlefield with adequate body armour.
Mad doctors running around making political statements with gunfire is just not acceptable in a military situation. It's a sign of a complete breakdown in the system. We have stretched our volunteer army as far as we can. There is nobody in charge.
Enough with all these war games. That's all these conflicts during the last 50 years have been. It's the military playing with all the expensive toys Congress has given them.
No wonder this mass murderer thought he could play out his own deadly video game without being stopped. He knew he could. Who would stop him?
There's nobody left in the Pentagon who understands that war is hell. Nobody cares if the troops come back scarred for life. Nobody is ever held responsible. But we continue to fund it anyway.
Just say "No" when they come calling for more troops or funding. It just might save a great institution for itself.

I agree completely. When I was in the army between 1959 and 1962 it was an entirely different army. Most were draftees and were serving their time. That doesn't mean they weren't dedicated to the defense of the nation.
It appears that the change came about when Universal Military Training was ended and the army changed to a mercenary army (if you will).
Most draftees hated the army and couldn't wait to get out but they served their country with honor when called upon to defend America.
Another problem with the modern army is that the evangelicals seem to have taken over and have changed the diversity of the army.
Hi, chassie.
You have to feed and care for dogs. sally* never even paid his child support. A pet rock might work for him perhaps?
Can you imagine what it was like having an evangelical drill sergeant?
My basic training was done by "lifers" as we called them and they could swear like a drunken sailor. I loved it.
I can't imagine some evangelical drill sergeant. He would say "Oh darn it".
My drill sergeant used to use real swear words.
Sandy and Chassie,
Perhaps sally would like a blow-up cheney doll.
It wore out the last one.
112SandyH on November 9, 2009 at 10:07 PM
Hi Sandy, i've been missing you lately. Oh yeah i forgot about Pet Rocks. That might work for whatever IT is.
Sandy I know that you have been paying attention, to what is going on in the world. The pugs are screaming like wild Comanches, about the dollar falling.
Which is exactly what the Obama team is doing purposely. Larry Summers, and Volcker are smart cookies. They are keeping the dollar low, to balance the trade world wide. They know there is no fear of inflation right now with so many unemployed. So they know if you keep the dollar low, the MORE WE EXPORT overseas, and keeps more folks employed here in the USA. And are exports are higher then they have been in years. And the imports are lower then they have been in years. Just exactly what we need. This will put people back to work soon. We got some really smart people running this country right now.
The blow monkey, had all idiots running the country, and look where that got us.
Perhaps sally would like a blow-up cheney doll.
It wore out the last one.
114johhne on November 9, 2009 at 10:17 PM
John that might be what IT wants. I hope IT gets one with a improvised explosive device in it, that explodes when IT blows it up, that had a mercury trigger, inserted in the doll, set off by his hot air.
ronnie reegan had nothing to do with the Berlin Wall. Gorbachov lost control of the German commies and the German people took care of the wall. reegan was a demented moron whose strings were pulled by king bush the first and cheney.
I hope reegan is enjoying eternity in hell. When his wife goes tits up she will join him.
Chassie,
That explains why his first cheney doll exploded. I thought it was because of its excessive girth.
The West Germans were sick of the wall as were the East Germans. I was stationed in Germany near the East German border when the wall went up and it was a touchy time with the Russians. We thought sure that they were going to cross the border and start WWIII. It was the height of the Cold War.
I remember pictures of East Germans scrambling out the windows of building into West Germany. Then the Russians built the no-mans land with wire and dogs. Many good Germans were killed by East German guards. The East Germans were tired of the escapes so they built the wall. I don't think it had anything to do with the Russians.
Hi, johne.
I have no doubt that all our nation’s soldiers have been dedicated to their job whether they were enlisted or drafted. How could you not join with others in such potentially serious life-and-death situations without doing your duty?
It's those who command them these days who I have a big problem. They seem more concerned with pleasing the politicians who fund their activities than the welfare of the men and women under their command. To think anyone could send soldiers into battle without the proper safety equipment. It's barbaric.
So many young kids volunteered after 911 thinking they would be fighting Al Queada. Our generals and admirals had a responsibility to make sure that was the real mission. But those that questioned what was going on and stood up to Rumsfeld were forced to retire.
It's those that didn't stand up to him who are now in charge. I don't trust any of them. They are compromised politically and have shown a complete lack of concern for their troops.
They also seem to be pretty stupid. But then anyone who would go along with Rumsfeld would have to be?
I wonder if anyone at the White House is questioning how we got where we are and who might be responsible? It wasn’t just politicians like Cheney.
Just how could any high-ranking officer educated at a prestigious military academy show such a complete lack of concern for the organization with which they owe their very honor? This massacre on a domestic military base by one of their own had better be a major wake up call to everyone at the Pentagon. Too many in high places have been derelict in their duty to their country and to their command.
These things just do not happen in world class institutions. That there could be such a big breakdown in discipline and security on a military base is unconscionable. That it could happen in my country makes me so very angry.
No one should have died last week in San Antonio.
Just like in Congress, some people at the Pentagon are refusing to do their jobs or they are not qualified for the positions they hold. There is no other explanation. I don’t want any more excuses. I don’t want any more stonewalling.
It is now our responsibility as citizens to relieve all of them or their command...the sooner the better. But I suppose next November will have to suffice.
I have to finish a project, so I need to get back to work. Catch you all later.
ronnie reegan was a pissant and certainly not a good president. He destroyed the middle class with his asshole trickle down economics. reegan was respected at one time when he was a flaming liberal and campaigned for Harry Truman in 1948.
David, I tried to send you an email at your above address, and it came back as Failed.
You must go into Hotmail and re-open an email account.

Thanks I hate that i have no filter on and people cannot email me, why even CitiBank cannot get through.
Only certain people do I get email from.
Since you tried davelyoung1@hotmail.com can someone also try davelyoung1@yahoo.com and davelyoung1@myspace.com. Just put test in it, please I need help.
I did not receive any emails, I wish Congress would apply Post Office delivery and sending guarantees, how can one have Free Speech with email censorship, where others decide what is sent and delivered. When the VA can send a important message and other people put it as undeliverable. Who in Congress is overlooking the Constitutional right to communicate with Freedom and Democracy?
David:
your email at yahoo. com failed, but it appears the one at myspace.com has gone through
That pissant okie coburn is blocking the veterans health bill and has been blocking it since summer. The republicans do not give a flying f about the veterans, America or Americans.
They all supported the trillion dollars bush spent on two illegal wars but are too f'ing cheap to take care of the veterans of these wars and give them the proper equipment.
coburn should be driven from the senate and tried for treason. We should sentence him to spend time at Walter Reed Veterans Hospital cleaning bed pans.
It is because of pissants like this okie bastard that those troops were shot at Fort Hood. The army does not have the medical help to treat all the veterans with mental problems.
http://senatus.wordpress.com/2009/11/09/democrats-ask-coburn-to-drop-hold-on-veterans-health-bill/
Morning Dems......
Well, our Repug Governor announced yesterday that she will NOT seek re-election ! I guess she got sick of making rules, that the Democrats just vetoed ! Time to get a real leader into the State, and get the budget on track.
Ned Lamont and our Sec. of State are both running exploratory committees. I like them both very much. Will work with either of them.
That pissant coburn and the rest of the pissant republicans had better not try to put a hold on Obama's health bill or there will be trouble in river city and they will lose.
Johne, Do you see the repug trolls DEFEND Coburn, after sitting here expressing such sympathy and love for Veterans? They lock step with the Repugs every single thing they do!
They have no thought of their own, no morals, just follow the party and defend them every step of the way.
It is really sick when one asshole can hold up a bill that affects thousands of people's lives.
Do they think they are God's gift to the planet. I know chimp and cheney did. I am certain that our founding fathers did not intend for one prick to dictate to the American people especially an okie prick.
The rules need to be changed to a simple up or down vote of 50 plus the vice president. DO IT!!!!!!
WASHINGTON – Presidents get elected to run the nation. Some days that means knowing how to heal it.
For the first time since winning the White House, President Barack Obama faces such a moment Tuesday at Fort Hood. After a shooting that left 13 people dead and 29 wounded on the bustling Texas Army post, it is Obama's job to offer some comfort, if not answers.
Obama will do so privately with the families of those killed, and then publicly at a memorial service sure to be watched by American troops around the world.
It is his time to take on the healer-in-chief role that can help shape a presidency at a time of national tragedy.
Obama's predecessor, George W. Bush, governed during the worst terrorist attack on American soil, the most crippling natural disaster in U.S. history, a space shuttle explosion, a shooting rampage at Virginia Tech, a tornado that wiped away a Kansas town, a bridge collapse in Minnesota, Midwestern flooding and California wildfires. Each response affected his standing, for better or worse, in a country that expects its president to be empathetic and clearly in charge.
History is full of other examples. Bill Clinton helped rebuild his troubled presidency with the way he reacted to the Oklahoma City bombings.
In this case, Obama has sought his own balance.
He has promised a full investigation of the Fort Hood shootings but has said little about it as police search for a motive. He has praised religious diversity in the military, trying to offer calm as questions loom about whether the alleged shooter had ties to extremist Islamic ideology. And he has delayed a trip to Asia to attend the memorial service.
The mass killing shook the nation even more because it happened in a presumed haven of U.S. security. The suspect himself is a soldier, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. Authorities say he fired off more than 100 rounds before a civilian police officer shot him. He survived and is in stable condition.

Our local fascist pig radio station is having interviews with all the pug candidates for governor but they left out the Democratic candidate Denesh. They used the excuse that they have been unable to contact her. Yeah right.
This station should lose its license to broadcast immediately. This is the same station that plays limpballs, hannity, cunningham, savage and other aholes.

There is no proof of this, just another limpballs talking point, everything bad that happens is Obama's fault.
WASHINGTON – Nearly a year before Maj. Nidal Hasan allegedly went on a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, terrorism investigators conducted an "assessment" of him before deciding he did not pose a threat.
After the shooting, the FBI is doing a new assessment — of its own conduct.
The Army psychiatrist is believed to have acted alone despite repeated communications — intercepted by authorities — with a radical imam overseas, U.S. officials said Monday. The FBI will conduct an internal review to see whether it mishandled early information about the man accused in the bloody rampage that killed 13 people and wounded 29.
Officials said Hasan will be tried in a military court, not a civilian one, a choice that suggests his alleged actions are not thought to have emanated from a terrorist organization.
Meanwhile, The Washington Post reported Tuesday that Hasan warned his medical colleagues a year and a half ago that to "decrease adverse events" the U.S. military should allow Muslim soldiers to be released as conscientious objectors instead of fighting in wars against other Muslims. Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, made the recommendation in a culminating presentation to senior Army doctors at Walter Reed Medical Center, where he spent six years as an intern, resident and fellow before being transferred to Fort Hood
Military officials were made aware of communications between Hasan and al-Awlaki, but because the messages did not advocate or threaten violence, civilian law enforcement authorities could not take the matter further, the officials said. The terrorism task force concluded Hasan was not involved in terrorist planning
I am surprised that bush wasn't at the berlin wall in a drunken stupor groping Merkel. hannity should have been there. He could have reincarnated ronnie reegan then be thrown out of the country or not allowed to even enter. That would be my guess.
good morning fellow Democrats.
FOX News owner Rupert Murdoch says he will remove stories from Google’s search index as a way to encourage people to pay for content online.
In an interview with Sky News Australia, the mogul said that newspapers in his media empire – including the Sun, the Times and the Wall Street Journal – would consider blocking Google entirely once they had enacted plans to charge people for reading their stories on the web.
In recent months, Murdoch his lieutenants have stepped up their war of words with Google, accusing it of “kleptomania” and acting as a “parasite” for including News Corp content in its Google News pages. But asked why News Corp executives had not chosen to simply remove their websites entirely from Google’s search indexes – a simple technical operation – Murdoch said just such a move was on the cards.

Yes, it did Thank You for helping, it is hard to have things happen for you when you cannot use your email and get email from people you ask to send you info. I could have gotten a request to be somewhere and have they fail to get ahold of me.
If in the US emails are being blocked and filtered then we are like Red China's Freedom and , where Democracy corporations and others control the mail and email systems, rather than a government protected Post Office system. This is something that Ben Franklin warned us about that people could use the mail to influence a nation.
PamB I will send you an email with test from the three accounts and see if they are being delivered. You can see if it is a ywo way block. If my emails to newspapers, Congress, and the VA are being blocked then what are they worth. Do you do need a certified way to get all email, let us decide what we want to see.
If anyone has doubts email davelyoung1@hotmail.com or davelyoung1@yahoo.com and see if your email is blocked.
rupert murdoch's "news" (propaganda) organizations eerily resemble Herman Goebels Nazi propaganda blitz during WWII. Are we sure Geobels died in the bunker after poisoning his six little girls and killing his wife. Maybe he is alive and well after all. He is easy to spot. He has a club foot and is a little shrimp with a big mouth.
Off to work.
David, I received all three. I replied to each one. They have not been rejected as yet.
I think you need to go into your Tools bar on each email site, and take off any filtering you have clicked on. Or go into Options, advanced and make sure your security is not too high.
Your emails are going out it appears. When I reply to them, it appears they go back to you. What does NOT work, is when I try and send you a fresh email, using your yahoo or hotmail addys.
PamB on November 10, 2009 at 09:08 AM
I agree that it is the fresh emails that I have problems with that are new that is why I am having problems, when people say they emailed me. I have my security set to low, so I do not understand why they are getting a failure warning.
You have been a pure angel and I thank you from the heart of a poet.
