Hurricane Katrina Anniversary Page

Thousands of victims have been misplaced and more than a thousand lives were lost. On the one year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, we must reflect. We must take this time to remember those individuals who lost their lives, and to contemplate how this tragic event continues to affect Americans across the nation. We can honor those who perished by learning from the disaster, so that we can prevent a similar tragedy from occurring in the future.
