POSITION: Database Engineer

Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the SQL Server database engine, including but not limited to: Physical storage, indexing, physical database design best practices, and query optimization
- Experience managing multiple MS SQL 2008 RDBMS on large systems
- Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
- Demonstrated ability to create and optimize database schemas.
- Understanding of normalization, de-normalization, and the difference between the two.
- Ability to both write T-SQL code and assist developers in tuning their T-SQL code
- Experience working in a high pressure collaborative fast-paced environment
