GOP Candidates

While Iraq spirals deeper into a bloody civil war, the Republican presidential candidates offer four more years of the same failed policy that got us to where we are now. The American people sent a clear message in the midterm elections that they wanted a change in course, but the GOP candidates only offer more of the same.

And as they attempt to one-up each other, trying to sound more and more like Vice President Dick Cheney when it comes to this unpopular war, they continue to isolate themselves from the majority of the American public that understands our brave men and women should not be policing a civil war.

Petraeus said it was necessary.

McCain Gets It Wrong - One More Time!

McCain Gets It Wrong - Again!

With General Petreaus testifying before Congress, Senator McCain once again got basic facts wrong about the situation on the ground in Iraq. During his questioning, he referred to al Qaeda as an "an obscure sect of the Shi'ites." This has become a rather frequent problem for the GOP nominee.
