Women’s Leadership Forum

House Republicans have made it clear that even in times of economic recovery, they're not willing to end things like tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans.

Following a day of speeches from women who are making a difference, yesterday’s Women’s Leadership Forum finished up with a visit from another featured guest: President Obama. In his remarks, the President honed in on the impact of his administration’s policies on women and families – the Affordable Care Act, his appointments to the Supreme Court, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, the White House Council on Women and Girls, and access to small business loans, among many others.

First Lady Michelle Obama took the stage at today's Women's Leadership Forum to talk about what we've accomplished together—electing Barack Obama president and bringing about some of the most historic change in generations—and what we must do to continue that progress.

The Women's Leadership Forum National Issues Conference kicked off this morning with several outstanding speakers who came together in Washington to discuss women's issues, their support for Democrats, and work they're doing to make sure President Obama is re-elected.
