It's 11 p.m. Eastern Time, and polls in California, Oregon, and Washington are all closing. A reminder: If you are in line to vote when the polls close, you are legally eligible to vote—so if that applies to you, don’t get out of line!

It’s after 10:00 p.m. on the East Coast now, and polls are now closed for voters in Iowa, Idaho, Montana, and Utah. It’s not over until the last polls close though—and there’s still an hour left for folks in California, Washington, Alaska, and Oregon.

At 9:00 p.m. ET, polls closed for 12 more states around the country. But now isn’t the time to turn on the television and watch the returns come in. Folks in Iowa, Idaho, Montana, Utah, California, Washington, Alaska, and Oregon still have time to vote tonight.

Election Day is coming to a close for some parts of the country, but it’s not over yet. Voters throughout the West are leaving work and heading to the polls—make sure that your friends and family in Western states know you voted, and let them know that they should vote too.

Polling hours in a number of precincts in Bridgeport, CT have been extended until 10:00 p.m. tonight. Any Bridgeport voters in these precincts who weren’t able to vote earlier now have a chance to do so.

It’s now 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and polls in the following states are closing now: Alabama, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Dakota, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Texas.

We have work to do right now. Utahans, Californians, and folks up and down the West Coast still have time to vote today.

It’s just past 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and polls are now closed in Florida, Georgia, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Virginia, and Vermont, in addition to Indiana and Kentucky.
