This week, the Supreme Court heard two very important cases on marriage equality: Proposition 8 and DOMA. We don't know what the court will decide, but here's what we do know: There's only one party fighting to make sure every American has the right to marry the person they love.
A look at the party platforms paints a clear picture.
The GOP Platform: "We believe that marriage, the union of one man and one woman must be upheld as the national standard, a goal to stand for, encourage, and promote through laws governing marriage"
The Democratic Platform: "We support marriage equality and support the movement to secure equal treatment under law for same-sex couples."
Some things don't change. In spite of the big talk about a GOP rebrand, the choice is clear.
