Two days before Christmas, the House of Representatives has passed the two-month payroll tax cut extension by unanimous consent, preventing a tax increase on the middle class that would have gone into effect January 1.
President Obama is expected to sign the bill shortly.
This is a victory for all those who demanded action from their representatives—and for the middle class.
