Weekly address: "Fighting for the American Jobs Act"

It's been nearly three weeks since President Obama introduced his jobs bill to Congress—and lawmakers have taken no action whatsoever. In his weekly address, the President said it's time for Congress to act so that we can put more Americans back to work:

"I know one Republican was quoted as saying that their party shouldn’t pass this jobs bill because it would give me a win. Well, this isn’t about giving me a win, and it’s not about them. … It is time for the politics to end. Let’s pass this jobs bill."
