  • VIDEO: RNC Chair Priebus Voices his Opposition to “Tolerance”

Earlier this year, the RNC released an Autopsy report on the party’s failure in 2012. In the report, the RNC Chairman Reince Priebus and the RNC pledged to help make the GOP a more tolerant and inclusive Party. In an interview with the CBN’s David Brody, RNC Chairman Priebus quickly distanced himself from supporting tolerance saying: “First of all, I don’t know if I’ve used the word tolerance. I don’t really care for that word myself.”

  • This Week in the GOP’s Outreach to Women

Earlier this year, the RNC released an Autopsy Report on the party’s failings in 2012 where they pledged to change their ways and reach out to groups, like women, that they had alienated by the party’s rhetoric and policies. • Priebus Highlights Autopsy’s Failure; Goes All-In for Cuccinelli, Jackson & Extreme Policies

A little more than 100 days ago Reince Priebus and Republicans rolled out their “GOP Autopsy” to explain how they were going to win back voters who were alienated by the Republican Party’s policies and rhetoric. Today, NBC News noted that “Republicans have pretty much ignored that RNC “autopsy” report.” To mark the failure of the GOP’s report, today Priebus will campaign in Virginia for Ken Cuccinelli and E.W. • Los Angeles Celebrates Inauguration of Mayor Eric Garcetti

Yesterday was an exciting day for the City of Los Angeles, which celebrated the inauguration of Eric Garcetti as mayor.  His commitment to public service and the city of L.A. will serve the city well as he works every single day to improve the lives of the residents of Los Angeles.

Mayor Garcetti’s proven record as a city council member and President of the Los Angeles City Council led to job growth in his district and around the city, while he pushed his community into the future with innovative programing and technologies. Garcetti’s plans to continue this progress are clear. With plans to create new jobs, invest in clean energy and water, and create partnerships with local businesses, Garcetti is set to lead the city to where it needs to be.

As we continually work to make our party more inclusive and reflective of our great nation, I hope Mayor Garcetti’s leadership will inspire a new generation of leaders. As the first elected Jewish mayor of Los Angeles and only the second modern-day Latino mayor of the city, this is a significant step forward. Best of luck to Mayor Garcetti and congratulations to him and the city of Los Angeles.
