I'm posting a few links to Newsmax. I read it every day to determine what kind of stories (many of them actually are true) are being told on Newsmax.
An example of a typical headline might be something like, "The Coming Obama Created Stock Market Crash."
Here are some literal titles and their links. Realize these are the same folk who brought you "Iraq: the Non Movie."
"U.S. Intel: Iran Plans Nuclear Strike on U.S."LINK

Read More »The Chicago Tribune has an IQ test for knowledge about John McCain. I didn't do that well; but I think ONE of the answers is wrong.
You can find it here and take it yourself:
Frank Rich on Obama's win. Even though I post a lot on other folks' blogs, I don't write that many from scratch. After all Frank Rich is a trained writer; and I'm a tired preacher.
Anyway, here is a link to Frank Rich's column in todays New York Times:
for your help in getting McCain some extra votes from those who are information challenged.
You'll see what I mean here:
It's time to get used to who the next POTUS will be: Barack Obama.
Read the news from the newspaper here:
My Mama taught me the same thing. What did their mothers teach those Hillary supporters who don't think she's getting a fair shake when she got more than she deserved out of her conniving the votes in Michigan and Florida after agreeing to discount them?
This is worth watching if you haven't:
The Kentucky Democratic Party issued a statement about the excitement we feel for this fall's general election in Kentucky.
The most exciting part is the replacement of Senator Mitch McConnell.

John Edwards to endorse Barack Obama.
For more information...http://www.politico.com
I just read a wonderful article by Elizabeth Edwards about the press and how it is failing the electorate. In it she cites the campaigns of several candidates on both sides of the aisle and how the press handled their coverage of those campaigns.
Before you go to the article (if you haven't already read it) think about whether you know more about Obama's bowling scores than his healthcare plan.
Talking Points Memo has something interesting that again shows the two-faced attitudes of the Clinton camp as a whole.
You'll find it here:
I just heard her use her campaign as a reason to tell little girls "they can do anything they want." Of course they can. I just hope they don't believe the only way they can win is by lies and deceit like Hillary.
She also comments about her need for money. Such a "great" campaigner that she's in the red, while the "junior" senator is beating her big time in income---mostly from individuals with not that much money.

From MSNBC: "Shiller: Housing slump may exceed Depression."
I have been calling this a recession for over a year; and I do not believe depression is too strong a term at present. It may be fine for the very upper middle and upper class; but for most of us it, at the very least is DEPRESSING. We wanted a great president; and we got a Herbert Hoover wannabe.
McCain has already admittted he knows little about economics; and his responses so far are worse than feeble. We MUST have Democrats in the White House and congress.
