I currently voluntarily serve on the Board of Directors in a 7 community, 915 home owners association. Most Deed Restrictions have a life starting at 30 years and cannot be changed arbitrarily without 75% of homeowners agreeing to the change. They automatically continue on after that period unless 75% of the home owners agree to changes. This is damn near impossible to achieve.
But, for example, outside TV Antennas, were banned by original (and still existing) restrictions. A federal law was either written, or implemented and that rule cannot be enforced any longer because it prohibits a free access to public communication. Once cable companies get their way (the digital age) that may be reimplemented.
Suffice it to say that if our gutless representatives would actually represent us then solar, wind, and other sources could not be prohibited by local ordinaces!

This along with the great stadium speech (sermon!) he is going to give, compliments of all those poor peoples donations, and others that gave to the democratic party under the assumption it would go to the good of the party and not for an elevation of the almighty.

Vote not for the incumbent but for the representative that will best support the ideals you feel the government should abide by. Akin to what JFK said "Ask not what you country can do for you, but what you can do for your country!"
Obama is no JFK even if he does visit Berlin. I was there when the wall was built and respect JFK for what he did for this country and Obama has no record to ID himself in the same catagory!
Obama plans an acceptance, not at the convention, per norm but at the Broncos stadium that can house approximately 76,000. Such an annointment and a speech that I am sure many pastors will wish they had the oportunity to sermonize.
Oh well I guess I shouldn't expect anything else from the chosen one, the head Post Turtle!
My entire family and circle of friends have decided to leave the democratic party and register as Independents. I was going to delete my account but decided against it. I would rather be removed by a party that no longer represents our ideals than to just give up.
I have quite a few friends that I have enjoyed conversing with over the past 2 years and hope that they will meet us on another blog without the crass, vile, meaningless people that now inhabit this blog. They have my private email and I do hope to hear from them.
We feel that our votes really no longer matter and that both parties just take them for granted. The party I was once happy to be associated with has become something we no longer recognize. It appears that Obama won't be happy until he contols everything, including this blog, and Clintons kneels down and kisses the shoes of the messiah! I'll not wait around for that but will continue to engage some of the creeps that now permeate throughout this blog site.
But as I said above I will most likely be booted before that can take place and it will show the true heart of the now CHANGED party! This is a total of 16 votes that the Post Turtle will not receive and personally I don't think he will win the election because of some of the hijinks the DNC and media have staged over the past year.
So long, but not goodbye, from a once proud democrat of 47 years!

It may surprise some but I have been saying all along that this was going to happen. It's called paybacks for a history many of us had nothing to do with.
The rift is now finally in the open here and all my allegience to to democratic party for the past 49 years is gone. I will vote for whomever I want, when I want and it won't be for Obama. And yes I am a democrat and none of you can take that away from me.
He's going to be a loser for our party and will deserve what he doesn't get! POTUS!

It was a joke that I kind of enjoyed, it seaks volumes!

The other is a fighter and has withstood the barrage of insults the media throws in her direction and against a campaign that has a source of unending campaign funds. And the race is dead even in the popular count. Delegates are dived unequally throughout the US and no winner takes all is in effect. If it were the race would be completely different.
Hillary Clinton deserves the respect she has won! Her supporters need not take the abusive and insulting rhetoric the other campaign dishes out on a daily basis. Protest and keep it up!
We are protesting for recognition as democratic voters that don’t believe abusive and vulgar treatment are the true identity of the party!
Hillary has shown that she can win in our state and it is a shame on our nation that our votes cannot be counted. I would like to say that should some dig deep into their minds they would see that she is the true democratic candidate that can win the General Election because she would carry the states necessary to win the electoral count. She would not have to rely on the supposition that a bunch of Red States would have to turn Blue. She has proven she can carry those states to a win in November.
The DNC needs to get off their high horse and start reading the plea of those of us that believe that Hillary Clinton can win in November if they don’t isolate us through finagling.

Obama came and went! We went to Tampa to add to the swell of protesters but were unable to get anywhere near there because of traffic, lack of parking and public transportation.
Clinton fans will enjoy this but obamians will be deeply critical because they lack humor!

If this isn't pandering I don't know what is. Now he visits Florida and wants our votes but apparently he forgot that we voted and he didn't want them because they are not in his favor! He is scheduled in Tampa and chose Ybor City. In case you are unaware this is a district that is predominently in the black section of town and not a huge amount of whites will go there to see him because of the crime rate that is prevelent there.
Now he insults us all because previously he refused to display his patriotism and now since the issue may effect the GE it is proper to do it? I will never forgive this man for his meaningless attitude that he can now display his flag, but it don't mean anything!
Just amazing what he will do to get us to vote for him but what happens later? Does the patriotism no longer apply because he will be president and won't have to?

This is devastating for the democratic party and shows the great divide Obama has injected into this race. And this is only 2 states, but large ones at that!
I'm heartbroken this divide has occurred and I'm sure it will hurt the party but the DNC has done it to us again!
