I AM VOTING FOR OBAMA NOT REV. WRIGHT

As I read people's comments on different websites, it became clear that voters seem to think that the President runs America like a King who governs over us without any input from Americans or Congressmen. Obama and McCain will not have free run over America if elected President. Either will still have to have support of Washington to promote their agenda as POTUS. The key is what influences the POTUS will use to FACILITATE solutions in America. With Obama, there will be a Democrat flavor to the policies and decisions established in the White House. With McCain, there will be a Republican flavor to the policies and decisions made in the White House. The point I am trying to make is voters are not voting for a king - they are voting for a party flavor that is more likely to create solutions which plague America today. The issues which concerns me most today will more likely be resolved by a Democrat influence than a Republican influence. We have had 8 years of Republican influence and it is killing us. I am not voting for Obama - the individual - I am voting for the Democrat Influence.
Fired up and ready to go.!!!

According to usaelectionpolls.com, AS OF JUNE 8, 2008, Obama is 70 Electoral Votes ahead of McCain. As this has been going on, Obama has extended his Electoral Vote lead over McCain to almost 70. Barack Obama - 303 John McCain - 235 GO DEMOCRATS!!!!!
If you are over 18 years of age, you are an adult so I am going to speak to you like an adult. The general election is at hand. The choice is very simple. If you can afford the Republican agenda then vote Repubic. By the way, 'not-voting-at-all' also counts for Republican. If you cannot afford the Republican agenda then vote Democrat. Ask not what you can do for Hillary but ask what you can do for your country. Ask what your country can do for you and your family. Look at your children, they are depending on you to make an adult decision to meet their needs. Can you responsibly look in their eyes and tell them you for the party of oppressing them because you hate the Democrat nominee or you hate how the DNC handled your Florida or Michigan vote or you hate Hillary was not the candidate you preferred? You cannot pay your bills and feed your family with pride, grudge, or anger. When Bush was placed in the White House over Gore, I cried. Guess what, Gore and Bush are still shaking hands and eating lunch together while I remain poor and struggling. It is politics and the bottom line is when the campaigning is over, the opponents are still wealthy and getting along with each other and we voters are left with the consequences that we made - not with what the politician made. Hillary is a politician and she is going to work with the Democrats to win the White House because the Democrat is the party which is going to provide the programs which she has worked all her life for. These are the programs which we benefit from. Hillary is not going to approve of an independent ticket or a write in. If you were truly her loyal supporters then you will know that she has worked her heart out for health care, no child left behind, jobs, for you. It is not for her. She does not have a little child and she has a job and she has health care. I will not waste my time trying to convince grown people what they need to do for themselves and their family. If your children are hungry and if your children need shelter and if your children need medical care and if your children are being killed in Iraq then you know what you must do. As for me, I know I cannot afford four more years of Republican rule and I am going to do everything I can to make sure Republicans will not control my family's needs. If you insist you are voting for MCCain then you are the enemy because you are working for the party who is going to starve my family. Bottom line, the primaries are over. It is now Democrat (Obama and Hillary) vs. Republican (McCain). At this point, you are either Democrat or Republican. To the Democrats, let's take back the White House and America!!!!! One nation under God indivisable with liberty and justice for all.
I am living on disability income trying to survive with high gas prices, high food costs, paying a vehicle note, paying mandatory auto insurance, buying a home, paying property taxes, paying high utility bills and Medicare health insurance has not kicked in yet so I suffer everyday until I can have insurance. I costs $100 at least for inedible items which are now a luxury such as detergent, soap, paper towel, toilet paper, and toothpaste. I worry everyday about about young family members serving in Iraq and graduating from high school looking for a college education. I gave up my dogs because it cost more to feed them than my self, so now my home security system is gone. I shop at Walmart to make ends meet. I go to Walmart and look around and see my other struggling brothers and sisters who happen to be Black, White, Asian, Latino, Jewish, Islamic, Handicapped, Veterans/Veteran families and elderly. We are all struggling in America today and we are all automatically shopping at the same American store to meet our needs. We have not checked to see what relgion Mr. Walmart is. We have not checked to see what race or gender Walmart is. We do put trust in the quality Walmart has provided in our lives without question. Walmart is not BEGGING the BILLIONS of Walmart shoppers to come shop there to save their own necks and feed their family - they come there on their own because those BILLIONS of shoppers knows they have a family to feed. Despite the fact that millions of shoppers may shop somewhere else, BILLIONS continue to share a common purpose and shop at Walmart. The other stores have yet to figure out that Walmart's success is because Walmart meet the need of the BILLIONS of shoppers without having to BEG them to shop there. I guess in a way we are are kinfolk. Attention my BILLIONS OF WALMART BROTHERS AND SISTERS, we will have ONE AMERICA BECAUSE BILLIONS OF US WANT ONE AMERICA. All of our money is GREEN AND BILLIONS OF US WILL BUY BACK OUR GOVERNMENT IN NOVEMBER. DEMOCRATS AT WALMART 2008 and 2012.

Polls: Obama Improving In Key General Election States
The Huffington Post | May 22, 2008 12:08 PM
UPDATE: Survey USA has an Ohio poll suggesting a sizable 9-point lead for Barack Obama in a matchup against McCain.
---
Original Post: A series of recent polls suggest Barack Obama has begun to open big leads in some states that will be crucial to the a Democratic win in November. But in at least two swing states, Clinton continues to outperform John McCain while Obama lags behind.
California: Obama Opens Big Lead Over McCain, Clinton's Unfavorability Rises
According to a survey conducted over the past 10 days by the Public Policy Institute of California, 59 percent of likely voters here now have a "favorable" impression of Democrat Obama, while a majority view both of the other candidates unfavorably. In a state whose Democratic primary Clinton won in February, 51 percent of voters now say they have an unfavorable opinion of her; 53 percent of voters feel the same way about Republican McCain.
Obama, meanwhile, seems to be making strides across nearly every constituency. If the general election were held today, 54 percent of Californians say they would vote for him, compared with 37 percent for McCain. That gap has widened by 8 points since March. Obama enjoys the support of more than 80 percent of Democrats here, along with over half (55 percent) of independents. He leads McCain among men and women and is viewed favorably by nearly 70 percent of Latinos--a powerful political group, experts note, not just in California but in several other western states, including Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada.
Virginia: Obama Beats McCain By 7
In October of 2006, John McCain led Barack Obama among Virginia's registered voters by 20 points. Today, 19 months later, the same question, using the same methodology, as you can see in the table below, shows Barack Obama defeating John McCain by 7 points.

Reuters/Zogby Poll: Obama Opens Double-digit Lead Over McCain in National Test
Third-party candidates Nader and Barr show signs of strength in key demographic groups
UTICA, New York â€" Democrat Barack Obama has sprinted out to a 10-point lead over Republican John McCain in a four-way presidential contest including Libertarian Bob Barr and Liberal Ralph Nader, the latest Reuters/Zogby telephone poll of likely voters nationwide shows.
Obama does well among his Democratic base, winning 79% support â€" an indication that the party faithful may be coming together behind his campaign as a bruising nomination campaign nears the end. He also does well among non-aligned voters, as independents favor him over McCain by a 48% to 32% margin.
Data from this poll is available here
The live-operator telephone survey was conducted May 15-18, 2008, and included 1,076 likely voters nationwide. The poll carries a margin of error of +/- 3.0 percentage points.
Obama leads in the East, the West, and in the South, while the two are essentially tied in the central part of the country, including the Midwest and the Great Lakes region, the poll shows. He leads among all voters under age 65 â€" including by huge percentages among those voters under age 30 - but trails McCain among those older voters by a 45% to 34% margin. Interestingly, Obama holds a 13-point edge among those voters age 50 to 64.
The survey hints that Libertarian Bob Barr could do some serious damage to McCain by stealing support among the very conservative and libertarian voters. Barr wins 10% support among those self-described “very conservative” voters, and wins 22% among philosophical (not necessarily “capital L”) libertarians. As McCain continues to angle for moderate support on the campaign trail, Barr could create havoc for him among McCain’s political base.

Sexism refer to any and all systemic differentiations based on the sex of the individuals not based on their individual merits, and is commonly considered to be sex discrimination.
Sexist beliefs holds that individuals can be understood or judged based primarily on the characteristics of the group to which they belongâ€"in this case, their sexual group, as men or women.
The view that women are superior to men is also a form of sexism, and when expressed by a woman can be called female chauvinism
Sexism against men has been referred to as "reverse sexism."
I worked as a EEO and women many times violated the sexism rule unintentionally because they applied sexual discrimination only to men. For example, in this election, I have seen Hillary get on stage and actually ask the women to vote for her - that is sexism. This is especially true if two people are applying for the same job where gender is inapplicable but one is swaying the outcome by appealing to the majority based on their gender. This would be the same if Obama, McCain, or any male candidate actually stood on stage and ask all the men to vote for him.

Obama on MSNBC speaking in Tampa Florida. Looks like a very enthused diversified group to me. Even seen some old people and veterans. Commercial on so let me get back to my Florida brothers and sisters.
Fight on Soldiers!!!!
Fight on Soldiers!!!!
I just heard on MSNBC that McCain's senior advisor, Mark McKinnon has quit his position with McCain's campaign. Mark McKinnon reported last year that if Obama become the Democrat nominee, he will not fight against him. McKinnon states he will still vote for McCain and will be supportive on the sidelines, but he will not fight with Obama. He likes him.
Carry on Soldiers!!!!
Carry on Soldiers!!!!
This is a followup to Partybuilder 101 by Maggie B. I will ask you again, stop fighting on PB. The person you are fighting with may be a Repub pretending to be a Hillary supporter just to keep us fighting. Likewise, some of you Obama supporters' posts sounds like a possible Repub trying to start a fight with HIllary supporters. IF YOU ARE A TRUE OBAMA SUPPORTER, YOU KNOW THIS IS NOT HOW HE WANTS US TO ACT. Let's see if we are true supporters. I am asking you, please, post positive posts about OBAMA ONLY. DO NOT MENTION HILLARY'S NAME IN YOUR POST!!!! If you see a poll showing Obama and Hillary, just refer readers to the poll BUT DO NOT OFFER YOUR OPINION ABOUT HILLARY. If you get attacked, IGNORE IT. If you have no restraint and just have to say something against an Obama attack just say "I CONTINUE TO SUPPORT BARACK OBAMA". Period. Nothing else need to be said. Focus only on the fight with McCAin. Can I get Obama supporters to commit to this, please? Whatever you do, do not try to convince a blogger to not vote for McCain. By now all Democrat voters know who they are going to vote for and why. If you try to convince them to not vote for McCain, you are inviting a fight. Everyone know what McCain will do or not do for America by now. You are not responsible for making up other people's mind. You are responsible in showing MAJOR SUPPORT FOR YOUR CANDIDATE. I will also take this time to say that if an Obama supporter insists on blogging a negative attack on Hillary or her supporters, then I will assume you are a Repub troll picking a fight. We are adults and what I am requesting is not difficult for a responsible adult to do. TRUE OBAMA SUPPORTERS, do I have your support in this endeavor?
ATTENTION OBAMA SUPPORTERS!!!
It appears there are Democrats who are not leaning toward McCain and is coming together like Democrats should to fight McCain.
According to the article, "He maintain significant margin of voters 18-29 years of age, post graduate education, monthly income over $5,000 and men. AT THE SAME TIME, SUPPORT FOR CLINTON AMONG SOME OF HER TRADITIONAL STALWART SUPPORT GROUPS - WOMEN, EASTERNERS, WHITES, ADULTS WITH NO COLLEGE EDUCATION, AND HISPANICS - HAS FALLEN BELOW 50%"
The chart now shows:
Clinton Obama
Non-Hispanic Whites 47 47
Women 46 49
High School grad/less 46 47
Hispanics 44 51
Easterners 43 52
The article reports that the only major demographic group still supporting Clinton 51% and more are women 50 years old and over. Bottom line, "at least for now, he has expanded his position as the preferred candidate of men, young adults, highly educated Democrats, and has ERASED CLINTON's ADVANTAGE WITH MOST OF HER PRIOR CORE CONSTITUENCY GROUP INCLUDING WOMEN, THE LESS EDUCATED AND WHITES".
LINK; GALLUP.COM ARTICLED TITLED 'KEY CLINTON CONSTITUENCIES MOVING TOWARD OBAMA' date May 20, 2008.
The point I am trying to make is it looks like the Democrats are rallying together to kick some major McCain butt. McCain is already flip-flopping like a catfish out of water (laugh). GO DEMOCRATS!!!!!!!!!!!

To all minorities in the Democratic party: I took the liberty of reviewing the Democratic foundation which is included in this website to remind you that we minorities are citizens in America and have as much rights to pursue the office of POTUS as any other citizen. We work, pay taxes, attend college, vote, spend money in this economy, die in American wars, bleed red blood, we bathe with soap and water, and eat with forks in fine restaurants just like any other citizen. Within us, we are educated, intelligent, and desire the same for our families as any other citizen. We most definitely DO NOT STEP ASIDE because there are some who will not support our pursuit because of race and gender. We will be letting our children and grandchildren down. This is what it means to be a Democrat:
The Democratic Vision
The Democratic Party is committed to keeping our nation safe and expanding opportunity FOR EVERY AMERICAN.
PARTY PLATFORM
At the start of the 21st Century, the Democratic Party can look back on a proud history â€" a history not just of a political organization but of a national vision. It is a vision based on the strength and power of millions of economically empowered, socially diverse and politically active Americans. Over two hundred years ago, our Party's founders decided that wealth and social status were not an entitlement to rule. They believed that wisdom and compassion could be found WITHIN EVERY INDIVIDUAL and a STABLE GOVERNMENT MUST BE BUILT UPON A BROAD POPULAR BASE.
The late Ron Brown â€" former Chairman of the Democratic Party â€" put it best when he wrote, "The common thread of Democratic history, from Thomas Jefferson to Bill Clinton, has been an abiding faith in the judgment of hardworking American families, and a commitment to helping the excluded, the disenfranchised and the poor strengthen our nation by EARNING THEMSELVES A PIECE OF THE AMERICAN DREAM. We remember that this great land was SCULPTED BY IMMIGRANTS AND SLAVES, THEIR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN.
The Democratic Party is America's last, best hope to BRIDGE THE DIVISIONS OF CLASS RACE, REGION, RELIGION, ETHNICITY AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION. WE WILL SUCCEED IF WE CONTINUE TO GOVERN BY THE SAME PRINCIPLES THAT HAVE MADE AMERICA THE GREATEST NATION ON EARTH â€" the principles of strength, inclusion and opportunity.

I was reading a post from earlier today which reminded me about a post I wrote earlier this month. Democrats, we need to pay attention to Repub campaign tactics. They really do not campaign on policy or issues which Americans are most concern about. They talk about war and 'woe-be-gone-there-is-no-hope' tactics to convince voters they are the ones who can fix the problems. They have even come out with Bin Laden again. Give me a break. Why am I not surprised. Bush came under fire about his little conference he had in Israel and of course McCain joined him. But when the American public expressed outraged against both of them - POW - they come up with a Bin Laden video to scare Americans back into submission. Look at that video of Bin Laden the next time they show it on T.V. He looks so young on the video. Keep in mind how old he was looking in past videos now they come up with a video where he looks about 10 years younger. I guess this is how McCain is going to try to get the blue collar workers by SCARING THE VOTE OUT OF THEM - AGAIN. Thank God, for the new young voters and the internet because the voters today are more informed than in past elections. Scare tactics are old politics and the public is not buying it anymore. They learned that in the recent Mississippi election. Voters are not going to be bullied by fear anymore and Repubs are panicking right before our eyes because those tactics are all they know in getting votes.
Go Democrats!!!!
Go Democrats!!!!
Why did the chicken cross the road?
BARACK OBAMA: The chicken crossed the road because it was time for a CHANGE! The chicken wanted CHANGE!
JOHN MC CAIN: My friends, that chicken crossed the road because he recognized the need to engage in cooperation and dialogue with all the chickens on the other side of the road.
HILLARY CLINTON: When I was First Lady, I personally helped that little chicken to cross the road. This experience makes me uniquely qualified to ensure -- right from Day One! -- that every chicken in this country gets the chance it deserves to cross the road. But then, this really isn't about me...
BILL CLINTON: I did not cross the road with THAT chicken. What is your definition of
chicken?
AL GORE: I invented the chicken!
COLONEL SANDERS: Did I miss one?
DICK CHENEY: Where's my gun?
AL SHARPTON: Why are all the chickens white? We need some black chickens.
DR. PHIL: The problem we have here is that this chicken won't realize that he must
First deal with the problem on 'THIS' side of the road before it goes after the problem on the 'OTHER SIDE' of the road. What we need to do is help him realize how stupid he's acting by not taking on his 'CURRENT' problems before adding 'NEW' problems.
OPRAH: Well, I understand that the chicken is having problems, which is why he wants to cross this road so bad. So instead of having the chicken learn from his mistakes and take falls, which is a part of life, I'm going to give this chicken a car so that he can just drive across the road and not live his life like the rest of the chickens.
GEORGE W. BUSH: We don't really care why the chicken crossed the road. We just want to know if the chicken is on our side of the road, or not. The chicken is either against us, or for us. There is no middle ground here.
COLIN POWELL: Now to the left of the screen, you can clearly see the satellite image
of the chicken crossing the road...
ANDERSON COOPER - CNN: We have reason to believe there is a chicken, but we have not yet been allowed to have access to the other side of the road.
JOHN KERRY: Although I voted to let the chicken cross the road, I am now against it!
It was the wrong road to cross, and I was misled about the chicken's intentions. I am not for it now, and will remain against it.
NANCY GRACE: That chicken crossed the road because he's GUILTY! You can see it in his
eyes and the way he walks.
PAT BUCHANAN: To steal the job of a decent, hardworking American.
MARTHA STEWART: No one called me to warn me which way that chicken was going. I had a standing order at the Farmer's Market to sell my eggs when the price dropped to a certain level. No little bird gave me any insider information.
DR SEUSS: Did the chicken cross the road? Did he cross it with a toad? Yes, the
chicken crossed the road, but why it crossed I've not been told.
ERNEST HEMINGWAY: To die in the rain. Alone.
JERRY FALWELL: Because the chicken was gay! Can't you people see the plain truth?'
That's why they call it the 'other side.' Yes, my friends, that chicken is gay. And if you eat that chicken, you will become gay too. I say we boycott all chickens until we sort out this abomination that the liberal nedia white washes with seemingly harmless phrases like 'the other side. That chicken should not be crossing the road. It's as plain and as
simple as that.
GRANDPA: In my day we didn't ask why the chicken crossed the road. Somebody told us the chicken crossed the road, and that was good enough.
BARBARA WALTERS: Isn't that interesting? In a few moments, we will be listening to the
chicken tell, for the first time, the heart warming story of how it experienced a serious case of molting, and went on to accomplish its life long dream of crossing the road.
ARISTOTLE: It is the nature of chickens to cross the road.
JOHN LENNON: Imagine all the chickens in the world crossing roads together, in peace.
BILL GATES: I have just released eChicken2007, which will not only cross roads, but will lay eggs, file your important documents, and balance your checkbook. Internet Explorer is an integral part of the Chicken. This new platform is much more stable and will never cra...#@&&^(C% .... Reboot.
ALBERT EINSTEIN: Did the chicken really cross the road, or did the road move beneath the chicken?
BARACK OBAMA: The chicken crossed the road because it was time for a CHANGE! The chicken wanted CHANGE!

Contratulations to Hillary for the West Virginia win but I am not sure she is who they were voting for. The exit polls show that over 60% of the votes were cast because of Bill Clinton. Even more amazing is that over 11,000 voted for JOHN EDWARDS. Neither of the two are running for POTUS. This was hilarious.
Hold on Folks. Apparently, I started this firestorm tonight and I assure you this was not my intention. When I read the article I thought that it was a nice Christian gesture and hopefully a sign that the two candidates were forming a compassionate act from one Democrat to another. I thought that it will be a clue to each of their followers as well. Apparently, I was wrong and do apologize. I will delete the posting if I can figure out how to do it. Peace.
Just heard on news that George McGovern just asked Hillary to drop out of the race then he endorsed Obama. OMG!!!!
