About the Author
Democrat from Washington's 5th CD, 4th LD, and a member of the 5th CD Traveling Troupe.

Today I visited Gonzaga University to see the one and only Kristine Reeves awarded her Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership Degree along side a couple of hundred other students and my father-in-law who was awarded his Ph.D.

So, first of all, everyone should give her a hard time about it...oops, I mean, congratulate her heartily on a job well done!

The first community event I've identified so far is Deer Park's Winterfest 2007. Here's the skinny:

Deer Park Kiwanis Club presents Winterfest 2007. Community breakfast, snoeshoe softball, chili cookoff, outhouse races, Ice sculpting, children's games, and more. Located at Perrins Field, Civic Center and the Sports Complex.

And the contact information? Christine Clark! Wow, could this be our very own Chris Clark?

I'll send forward more information as it becomes available. In the meantime, please sign up if you'd like to go.
