Yesterday, the Boston Globe posted a Youtube video of Obama speaking back against Republican criticism of his community organizing experience.  Then, Political Voices of Women blogger, Frau Sally Benz, linked to a blog that asked for more presidents to have community organizing experience like Obama.  Inclusion is definitely a strategy in Obama's organizing.

Sarah Palin requisitioned quite a bit of money for Alaska's aerial shooting of wolves program.  According to the Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, she is an enemy to animals there.

colorofchange.org asks that you sign petition to Henry Waxman.

Dear Friend,

LaVena Johnson was 19 years old, serving in Iraq as a private in the Army, when she was raped, murdered, and her body was burned--by someone from her own military base. Despite overwhelming physical evidence, the Army called it a suicide and closed the case.[1]

For three years, LaVena's parents have been fighting for answers. At almost every turn, they've been met with closed doors or lies. But together we can help achieve justice for LaVena and other families who have suffered similar tragedies.[2]

Will you join me in standing with the Johnsons and calling on Henry Waxman, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, to investigate the Army's cover-up of Lavena's death?

Thanks.

According to this LA Times article, Clinton feels discouraged about her chances of becoming Obama's VP.   VoteBoth quit trying.  WomenCount and other Hillary Supporters wants to make gender bias awareness a plank of the Democrat platform.

After Hillary conceded, I moved over to Barack's campaign.  I don't have an attitude like some "Hillary Loyalists".  I did join a group over at democrats.org Party Builders site called Hillary for V.P. because I would like Hillary to have the choice to serve in the capacity of Vice-President.  This blogpost has a link to Hillary' HuffPo article about prochoice activism.  Hillary never dropped out of politics.  I could never work with Republicans like she always thought she had to do to make the political gains necessary to protect choice.  She has helped me to merge feminism and politics in my life.  I think she is the best qualified candidate for Vice-President.  I don't know whether she wants the job or not.  I am poor and the only money that I could spare in the last few years went to the DNC and Hillary's PAC.  I suppose that I don't want it to end.

Bob Schaffer is the Republican opponent to Democrat Mark Udall in Colorado's political race for Wayne Allard's U.S. Senate Seat. Today, Huffington Post published some fact finding by Sam Stein that indicates Bob Schaffer's oil interests in Iraq may not have served U.S. interests in Iraq.

This story is a good indication that if elected Bob Schaffer wouldn't serve the interests of people in Colorado and the United States either.

Last April, Emily Kronenberg posted a blog that reported on hearings held by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform about the effectiveness of abstinence-only education.  Yesterday, MSNBC reported that the number of states refusing abstinence-only grants is increasing because abstinence-only education is so ineffective  in preventing teen pregnancy.
According to a Washington Post article, John Ensign, a Nevada Republican Senator, has stalled the housing bill because he believes it to be unsustainable without tax credits for renewable energy development.  The Senate Banking Chairman, Chris Dodd, says this tactic places the whole bipartison housing package at risk.

Mark Udall and Barack Obama have the political experience to bring about a comprehensive energy strategy for Colorado and the United States.

Recently, Coloradopols.com posted a discussion about a voting realignment in Colorado.  Maybe November's election will make Colorado a blue state.

Kathleen Sebelius, the Governor of Kansas, promoted Kansas as a leader in renewable energy at the American Wind Energy Association's Wind Power 2008 Conference.  In her remarks at the conference, she cited a poll by Land Institute which showed 3 out of 4 Kansans want a comprehensive energy strategy.

In Colorado, Ken Salazar advocates renewable energy investment as a means for Americans to achieve independence.  He thinks that tax incentives are the answer.

Wayne Allard will be vacating his U.S. Senate Seat.  Mark Udall is the Democratic candidate for that position.

Also, one of my friends at democrats.org, Claudia in California or CJ, posted that she was leaving PartyBuilder.  I think it was her that said FemDemo was kicked off the PartyBuilder site.  Another friend, Lincoln Park Dem, posted some smears against McCain that I thought were informative.

Please support Mark Udall's campaign by contributing.  Please go to my fundraising page.

Thank you.
