The Sec. of State needs to be able to travel and talk to the different global leaders and such . So , who better for the job than the one who has traveled to over 80 different counties and knows these people by name ?

Hillary Clinton has told us many stories about her trips over seas on many occasions throughout her campaign and she seems to enjoy traveling and meeting with different people.That's a major plus.

Obama says he will get rid of Bushs Faith Based Iniciative and create one that's real. One that helps poor people and the grants have to go towards SECULAR causes.

Who better to over see that department than John Edwards ? He knows the difference between Church and State and can be trusted to oversee this program. 

I'm biased towards Russ Feingold, but he seems to have chained himself to the Senate and refuses to accept anything else. So, my next best choice is ....

IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN !

Pundits have nothing new and of interest to talk about with regards to the 2008 Election , so they are stuck reporting basically nothing and trying their hardest to look and sound like they are excited. Those disappointed in the outcome of the Democratic Primaries are still pulling out that left over Beef Stroganoff (sp) casserole , combing for little bits of meat while ignoring the overwhelming smell of mold in their argument. Republican activists , realizing that for the first time in 6 years , they failed to successfully politicize the Fourth of July to their advantage, are now strategizing to politicize the anniversary of 911. Democratic activists do what they always do when they get bored in a General Election; seek to fine tune their party's candidate , analyzing him with a magnifying glass and going over the party's talking point positions, with a fine toothed comb in preparation for the Fall.

The American electorate have turned their televisions off . They don't want to be bothered with a bunch of  ads. Especially those living in "swing states" who are currently being bombarded with tons of political ads. They just don't want to hear about politics right now . They want to swim in the pool. They want to soak in some rays. They want to drop the kids off at Grand Ma's house so they can "steal away" for some quiet time. They want to go to the Water Parks or go Sailing. They want to  lay in a hammock and read a real good book; *ahem* (Fire Breathing Liberal By: Rep. Robert Wexler) ahem * cough* . They just want to relax and ease their minds because they know Summer will be cut short this year for, as soon as the Democratic Convention takes place at the end of August , Summer is pretty much over.

But right now, they don't want to be bothered. Don't ask them for donations right now. They're spending it at Disney Land. Volunteer to make calls ? Pffft! They're going Fishing. Canvass in a neighborhood ? The only door to door outreach they plan on doing is at the Mall. Instead of handing out pamphlets , they will be handing out cash and credit cards to the vendors. And while all these activities are enough to make a die-hard, political junkie, party activists blood boil, they are still gonna go it. Yep, against our wishes. LOL. But , don't worry party activists. While we sweat , and toil all Summer long trying to make America a better place for them , they will come to appreciate our sacrifice. And then, we'll get to have our vacation .

The event features many stages of entertainment including multiple national artists, patriotic ceremonies, veteran salutes, fantastic food and beverage offerings from a multitude of vendors, children’s rides and entertainment, ski shows on the Fox River and culminates with the Festival Foods Fireworks, the areas largest and most brilliant fireworks display, set to music!

You all remember when REPUBLICAN Michael Steel tried to trick voters in Maryland into thinking he was a Democrat with his STEELE DEMOCRAT bumper stickers and signs?

We have another one. These "Piggy Back Buthas" crack me up. They should just come back to the DNC instead of fake it.

She missed the White Security Guard that came around the corner and looked at her, then walked away. She missed the White nurses that sat on their cellulite wide butts and did nothing untill after she was dead and then they "doctord" her files and who are now FIRED. She didn’t see that. She just saw Black people (Patients) who kept getting up and going around the corner where the WHITE MEDICAL STAFF were probally asking them to help.

And I don't believe for one second anyone who would make the vulgar racist comments located in the extended shed a single tear for this woman.

You know, I was thinking. When we throw or attend a Birthday Party for someone, we don’t say “Happy Birthday…even though you owe me 50 bucks” or, “Happy Birthday , even though you still haven’t returned that dress you borrowed from me”. No, we just sing Happy Birthday , stuff our faces with cake and ice cream , and pour gifts upon the lucky recipient right? So, in that spirit, I want to wish America a Happy Birthday.

Party Builder member Shopman, posed a question. What’s right with America? And I had to think about it because there are so many ways to answer that question. I would say that the main thing that’s right with America is the fact, that it’s America in and of itself. What I mean by that is, America is Democratic Republic that was formed with the sole purpose of creating a society of free people.

Americans say the founding fathers would likely be disappointed with the state of the country.

(CNN) — As Americans celebrate the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, an overwhelming majority say the 56 signers of that document would be displeased at how the country has turned out.

According to a new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll, close to 70 percent say that if the signers of the Declaration of Independence could see America today they would be disappointed, while just under 30 percent say the founding founders would be happy with the country 232 years later.

Americans didn't always feel that way — in 2001, 54 percent thought that the signers would be pleased with the state of the country today; now that figure is down to just 29 percent.

But the poll shows a majority of Americans are still proud of their country — 61 percent say they are extremely proud to be an American, and another 28 percent say they are very proud. Those figures are virtually unchanged from 2005, although they are down a bit from 2002 and 2003.

Should a presidential candidate always wear a flag pin on his lapel? Forty-one percent say yes, and another 13 percent say a candidate should frequently wear one. Only about one in ten say a candidate should never wear a flag pin on his lapel.
