Men for Hillary

as a friend of mine once again, I think she a tough fighter and has offended many people in her journey to get Obama nominated, however that is excatly what it will take to win this election. I wished and thought Hillary was our best chance at winning but her skills were limited and Obama proved that he is very talented and that he can close the deal and get elected and help all of our causes, God Bless Obama!!
But I officialy LOVE: Gretchen, Shopman, Liz,Jake, Vidya, Laura, Moses, Anne K., Arius, Dona, Michelle, and I m sure many others I am forgeting, please forgive me and accept my blessings, I think we Dems will prevail in November and we will all be happy campers.
Please excuse the breaks, I will keep them coming as best I can. 1. John Mccain is so old: he stll owes Moses $20. McCain is so old he blocked funding for the pyraimids.
I have'nt been around much lately and just noticed we are still bickering over who the nominee is and was just wishing we could move forward. Like him or not Obama is OUR candidate and we need to promote him or at least stay out of it, this is going to be hard enough without us cutting our own throats. No Candidate is perfect, I recall Bill Clinton getting major critisim when he took the middle ground on different issues and Obama will get the same thing. However if he doesnt get elected there will be no improvement whatsoever, so please let US try to come together as soon as we possibly can.
I a have no point, just wishing everyone a wonderful holiday, this could be the biggest holday in our countrys history. I always feel quite proud on this day, Thank God for us!!
I just got done watching Al Gores movie " An Inconvenient Truth" what a great movie, the first time I ever saw it and it was fabulous. I am pleased that he is endorseing Obama, this has to help. I admit I am shallow and have limited capacity, however I do hope Obama can win and move our country forward. Bravo Al Gore, Bravo.
I am not a member anymore, thanks for all your understanding.
I lost another friend today named Micheal, it seems Micheal Link is missing from my ntework, anybody else have this or he just dropping me?
I have been trying for weeks to adjust to the idea Hillary would not be the nominee, it is very hard, I truly admire and respect her, she is a great American that deserves all of our respect and admiration. I know some will not convert to support Obama and I understand, I will not be as enthusiastic of a supporter as I would have been if Hillary was the nominee, however I know for certain that the country will be better off with Obama than McCain, there is much time to consider the choices and I hope all of us will decide to support Mr. Obama. At the very least I hope those that cannot vote for Obama will at the very least refrain from attacking him on this site, this is in no way helpful and you will be seen as a republican troll by the faithful Dems. I wish everyone the very best and hope and and pray for our country.
Are we ready? I think so, Mr. Obamas race has never been an issue for me personally, I just preferred Hillary. When I see many of the of the posts on this site I am convinced race is a big issue for many Democrats, so much so they are willing to vote for a Republican to stop it from happening. I realize few will admit this is the reason they oppose Mr. Obama and understand why, but the fact is we have to come to grips with our own prejudices and realize it is in our own best interest to have a Democrat in the White House regardless of whether he or she is black, white, green or purple, we have 5 months to sort this out, I hope we do the right thing.
the more I like Obama.
I dont know what day it will happen, but she will do it and she will mean it. For all those that want to stay home or vote for McCain you are the same as Bush a scumbag with no credibility and no backbone. This country cannot stand 4 more years of republican rule and if you chose to allow McCain to become Pres. because Hillary lost then you are no better than Strom Thurmond or Jessie Helms or any other Repuklican that has driven this country into the ground.
I do not know or care who Obama will select as VP, I hope it is someone that will help him win. I most would like to see widespread support of Hillary for Senate Majority leader, I think it will be her most effective role. Women could take pride in having the Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader both be strong women that help to lead our country foward. Congratulations Mr Obama.
I went to visit my 88 yr. old Grandma yesterday who had told me a about year ago she would never vote for Obama, she would stay home, something she has never done in her life, she treasures her right to vote. At the time I told her not to worry Hillary was going to be the nominee and she would get to see the first woman President in her life, big thing condsidering she was born in 1920 and women got the right to vote 1919. Now the big suprise, yesterday I informed her Obama was going to be the nominee and that Hillary wasnt able to secure the nomination, she avoided the small states and didnt run as good a campaign as Obama did, I assured her he was very smart and had a law degree from Harvard and that we just couldnt have another republican in the White House, she paused and then agreed that she would just vote straight ticket Democrat as she always has. I was very suprised to say the least she has been very consistent in the NOT voting for Obama thing, anyway I just thought I would share that, I have to go work now I will respond later when I get home, have a day good all. Correction: women got the right vote in 1920, even more ironic for Grandma.
I would like to start by saying the reason I got involved in this campaign is Hillary Clinton, I would not have made phone calls or blogged for any of the other candidates. With that said I believe Hillary and Bill would do themselves a disservice by staying in this past the first week of June, with all do respect to them and their supporters I think they begin to look foolish after June 3rd and I would hate for that to happen as I have great respect for the Clinton family and what they done for this country. I have said at one point here that John McCain was an acceptable choice, this is NOT true, he is not, while I do not dislike him personally, he is in fact more of same, I cannot stand Phil Graham or Lindsay Graham two of his close advisors they are both very bad men with very bad ideas for the country. Again I have much respect for Hillary Clinton and would like to see Obama discretly pick up her campaign debt and endorse her for Majority Leader next year, this way she could eagerly work for candidacy and bring a Democrat to the White House. I have lost a number of friends on this site and may lose a few more but I truely hope we can bring this to peaceful conclusion in the next week or so, thanks for reading, Jim.
How ya'll doing? Good I am glad to hear it. Well it seems time to embrace Obama, I know there are mixed feelings about this, but we must be realistic and commence with the war on the GOP, I still think Clinton was a better choice to fight McCain but it clearly wasnt my call. I truely hope the young people who came out for Obama stick with it and carry this thing to victory. Bravo my friends, Bravo!
as we would expect I guess when we have a race war, a gender war and soon to come a generational war, no wonder there is so much tension. I dont really blog much anymore but we all know the Democratic party has the best intentions for all people and we should support OUR nominee if at all possible, good luck to all and try to be compassionate to one another.
an Open forum for next 1/2 hr, speak now or hold your peace. I understand many are asleep, no problem, this only for those awake.
is tough! Probably impossible, if Hillary loses any of the remaining states and is behind in the delegate count and popular vote, there is no reason to proclaim her the winner of this contest. As much as I would like it to happen shifting the results of the contests would be un-american and unfair anyway you look at it. I ask all of us to let this play out and see the final results and the let chips fall where they may. God Bless America!!!
I am not giving up on Hillarys chances of winning I wish and hope the same as you all. I am just realizing the fact that she might not win and am prepared to support Obama in the fall, its that simple. We must remain Democrats throughout this process it will be in all our best interest.
