Has Anybody Noticed???
About the Author
Has anybody noiced that in one of the, if not the most, important election of my lifetime (40 years) that convieniently the two most controversial democratic presidential candidates are a white woman and a black man??? I personally was not sure who to vote for, since I am borderline on my beliefs between the two parties. However, I had decided that Clinton was the best candidate to represent the US as president for the next 4 years. She has the experience, the presence, knowledge, and fortitude to make an excellent president. Obama has not nearly the amount of overall experience to have even made it this far, and although it may sound 'racist', I definately believe he would never have been considered if he were not black.
So, why this year do two of the most controversial candidates compete for the democratic nomination? Gee, seems rigged to me. It's obvious that McCain is going to win. The Democratic party if fratured beyond belief. I for one, will vote for McCain before I would ever vote for Obama. So, if Clinton doesn't win, that is where my vote is going. And by the way, I am NOT racist, I come from a multi-cultural family (2nd generation American on three grandparents sides), AND I have graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Geology with a 3.8 GPA....for those of you that do not know what geologists do, it is a very difficult scientific discipline.
This whole thing is a joke. I never 'blogged' before, but after reading all the news I have had enough and have decided that I need to vent my opinion.
I wasn't going to post anything today, but was just reading through the posts when I saw this:
Obama SuperDelegate Breaking News-Good News From Hawai‘i: 3 More Superdelegates by Progressive Democrat
First of all: brother-in-law?!?!?!?
What the hell is that?
Second of all: Why isn't he follwing the Truce Agreement? I would think he of all people would be sure to do that.
SO, are there any Clinton family members on here, or McCain family memebers on here, that we should know about?
That's screwed up.

I don't want to get too personal, so I will try to be concise.
My father served in WWII. He told them he was 18, when he was really 17, so he could enlist. He survived.
He met my mother in 1956, I think, he was 13 years her senior. My mom was 18 and he was 31. Twelve years later I was concieved and then 20 months after me, my sister. I found out later that he left his wife and 3 kids (I have 2 half sisters and 1 half brother I have never met)for my mother. I don't even know if they know I exist. He did not keep in touch as far as I know & I wouldn't dare ask about them when I learned about this...otherwise severe and harsh results would arise. Read More »

Boy, did I get blasted for this. At this point, I agree with someone else on here that said all 3 are not worthy to be the POTUS...but, if i have to choose the lesser of the 3 evils, it is Clinton.
The mentality and attention span for the majority of Americans is a joke.
Read below for a copy of me being attacked.
BTW, as I stated below, if Clinton is so much like Obama, then why do we want to pick the copycat nominee instead of the original?....nobody has answered that yet. Read More »

Now, correct me if I am wrong and you have any real support against what I am about to say.
My daughters friend is in the Navy ( IDK the type of ship, but the shoot down missles.
#1) He, and all the military, know amongst themselves that the missle that was supposedly a 'test' and shot down over the pacific, was NOT a test. It was real, but the government did not want to alarm the American people.
#2) Again, according to this man, the satelittes are all being synchronized. Why you may ask. According to this man, and all the other military people he associates with all know, unlike us civilians, that there is a plan underway to attack Iran and North Korea in November. No joke. Military officials are already sending people and preparing for it.
Now, don't attack me for relaying this message, I heard this from a man actively surving in the military.

I've been reading the differences on posts, and before I comment, I want to make sure that what I get from it is what I think it is before I make a cooment. I hope the REASONS come from both Obama and Clinton supporters.
Thanks.
Thanks.
so I have been avoiding it for the past few days. Looking in on and off, not saying much, except for when I read 'FOS's' blog...lost my cool.
Then tonight, since it is still relatively early here in AZ, I thought I'd glance through the posts to see whats been going on. The one from the Dem radio host 'Steven Crockett' (i think was the name ) really caught my attention.
I made it very clear in my profile where I stand and who I am personally. Not gonna get more personal than that b/c of the weirdos out there. OK, so if Clinton doesn't win the nomination, I won't write in McCain, but I will write her in, as I can do that here.
I was never into politics that much b4, but since this is a really odd situation, I got into it and started to surf the internet and found this site.
As I have said b4, I was a Dem, but since 2000 changed to Ind. I don't vote for the party, I vote for the person. It really has never been much of an issue except for the last 3 elections, at least for me. But this time I am so confused and irate at the same time.
I thought that being American meant standing behind the values and/or person that you beleive in, not blindly following a group like a flock of sheep. I thought that this country's philosophy was at least somewhat based on individualism. I mean, I am not religious, and I am not gay, therefore, I don't beleive in gay marriages b/c 'marriage' is something that is a product of religion. So how do the two go together? But I digress, these kind of things are not what are important to me when I think of running a country....other than every person has a right to beleive in whatever or no religion if they so chose. Separation of church and state, right?
Well, I think that world peace/tolerance is most important, next would be the environment, then obviously the economy. If we had those things, I think people would be happy and not be nitpicking on each other over the other stuff...oh, mysoginy (sp?) is another...as an educated woman that's profession is historically male oriented, according to the stats out there, I get paid $.70 for every $1.00 a man gets, even if I am more qualified.
So, basically, I just want to say that I am what I am....call me what you like. But I know myself, I am an independent woman, who will be voting for Clinton one way or another this year. I have been waiting for a long time for this and I will not let anybody bully me. I will not, and do not, tolerate the 'tribal-like' mentality of any party. So, this is me, not paid by anybody to express my opinions and not going to just go with the flow......I thought that that was what America was all about. Or maybe it used to be...I don't know anymore. All I know is that I will have a clear concience after I leave the toll booth.

but, as I was getting ready for bed and thinking about all this, it occured to me.
HEY, if you want to consider race, gender, experience, then be fair.
Us women of any color, have been putting up with suppression, servtitude, and predjudice for centuries...if not thousands of years. A hell of a lot longer than any slaves. Of course slavery is inhumane, but we women go through barbaric treatment from our husbands to this day...from men of all cultures....do you see slavery in the US anymore??? NO!
Now, here we have a more than qualified WOMAN Presidential candidate, who we the public have been grooming for years and sending messages that we wish she would run for president, but then for whatever reason, it gets sideswiped by another controversial candidate...a black man
Well, you know what, not only is he not qualified, and has done things that no other person could get away with and still be in the position he is in. Reminds me of a movie where the black guy wanted to get into trouble, but noone would blame him b/c he was black, forgot the name of the movie, but was pretty funny.
I digress. The point is, that we women have been working for this moment for a very long time and it is about to slip right through our fingers. I don't care what man, of any color was running against her that didn't have the qualifications she does, he doesn't deserve being elected. It is our turn, as women, to show what we are made of. And Hilary Clinton is the one to do it.
I do not by any means consider myself a feminist. I love to be treated like a woman and have doors opened for me, make my husband supper, and still maintain the traditional roles between a man and woman that are kind an respectful. There are some things that the sexes are better at than the other...that is a fact. But that is PHYSICALLY...women are intelligent and quick thinkers fully capable of using our brain to run a country. Hell, we are always the ones that are depended on to keep a family together and the house in working order, so if you want to look at it that way, we may actually have an advantage.
Regardless, with this woman (sen. Clinton), at this time, she has more than earned her place in the Oval Office. It's rough working in a predominantly 'good 'ol boy' environment, I know, I work in a traditional male-oriented profession.
I don't want to offend any of you men out there...I love you guys, but hey, give us a chance.
Getting tired...hope I didn't forget to mention anything.
Good night.

Noone has ever won the Presidency (at least that I am aware of) by being written in on the ballot.
Can all of us as Clinton supporters agree to write her in if at all possible?
Calling all centrists, liberitarians, liberals, conservatives, democrats, republicans, independents, and any of those that I have missed: LET'S make REAL history as well as the most informed and intelligent choice as to who should run this country.
Imagine, First Woman President that won due to Americans that stood up for what is right and reasonable, by choosing a leader based on LOGIC, not blindly following the propaganda aimed at us everyday in every way, by not being intimadated, and by writing her in on the ballot!
We can do it, or at least have a clear conscience no matter what the outcome. And perhaps, we can set the stage for people to realize in the future, that it is NOT the party that counts, it's the PERSON and WE THE PEOPLE that count!
Please feel free to contact me and I would be happy if you would check out my profile. Even those of you that do not agree with me....you may be quite surprised.
Thank you for reading this.

as that is all I wanted to do from the beginning, as well as confirming what I already believed.
Too all the people out there that see things for what they really are, I guess we can hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
For all the ignorant, way-out left wing dreamers with wool over their eyes...dream on. Whether you will ever admit it or not, someday you will see how wrong you are and I wish that you would broaden your knowledge someday so as to not be so naive and drag this country down ever again.
Have a nice life,
Peace
