Become a Neighborhood Leader
About the Author
Research alone shows that talking with voters face-to-face is more persuasive than TV advertising, direct mail or phone calls. For our Democratic candidates to win, we need to go to our neighbors, knock on their doors and ask for their vote. To accomplish this, we are launching an effort in communities across the country called the Neighborhood Volunteer program. We are recruiting activists like you who commit to talk to 25 neighbors at least three times between now and Election Day. By Labor Day, we need 500,000 activists like you to pledge to be a Neighborhood Volunteer. http://democrats.org/a/2008/05/neighborhood_vo.php

I am still reeling from the RNCs "Tribute" Video

I have never been more disgusted, not surprised... but truly disgusted. I hope the media blows this up!

All those invloved in the creating of this video for the use of promoting fear should be ashamed.
NEW YORK (AP) - Barack Obama's acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention was seen by more than 38 million people.

Nielsen Media Research said more people watched Obama speak than watched the Olympics opening ceremony in Beijing, the final "American Idol" or the Academy Awards this year. Obama talked before a live audience of 80,000 people in Denver.
Please share what you thought of HRC speech. Did she change any HRC voters minds? Was it strong enough? Is Unity within our reach? http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/07/clinton.unity/index.html

My family & I were long time Hillary supporters, nothing would have made us happier then too see her success at reaching the highest office in our land. Her time has not ended, she will just be on a diffrent road.

It is time for us as Dem's to wish her well & move toward our nominee. Pouting, crying, anger & frustration... sure those might be legitamate FEELINGS for some, but that is no way to guide us in our vote.

I keep hearing the pathetic threats of "I won't for Obama, so my vote will be for McCain" Do any of you holding this "grudge" watch the news? Are our soldiers still dying? Are children still starving, Are people losing their homes & jobs? Seriuosly people GET OVER YOURSELVES! This is not becoming of us as women or Americans, we are better then this. We can CHOOSE to see the bigger picture the real future of what we need for ourselves & our families.

This is our childrens future.... do not throw your vote away because your angry. VOTE for the person you believe will change our country for the better. Look beyond the selfish calls for party anarchy, do not play into the republicans greedy hands. This is OUR chance, OUR time to reclaim this country to use our hard fought right to VOTE for our families & our community. To do do anything less weakens who we are.

"The Neighborhood Volunteer program empowers volunteers to help Democrats like never before. Now, you can take charge of your own neighborhood to change the country. We'll win elections because you are involved and talking to your neighbors." -Gov. Howard Dean Go to: http://democrats.org/a/2008/05/neighborhood_vo.php
