"Make it a hundred...That would be fine with me." -to a questioner who asked if he supported President Bush's vision for keeping U.S. troops in Iraq for 50 years

"I'm going to be honest: I know a lot less about economics than I do about military and foreign policy issues. I still need to be educated."'

"You know that old Beach Boys song, Bomb Iran? Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran."

"I had something picked out for you, too - a little IED (improvised explosive device) to put on your desk."

Your right, this is John McCain's quotes!

Avoid the trolls
and remember who we are up against!

Do something constructive today to help us win in November
Recently the Clinton campaign rejected a bill passed by the Michigan legislature to split the delegates 59-49.

I can see why this has happened, it is not fair for the Clinton supporters... However a 108-0-0 split (Edwards was still in the mix than) doesnt seem very fair either.

And What about Florida. I want a solution that is fair and doesnt alienate voters

Any suggestions?
I hear on and on from Clinton supporters, that Barack Obama's electiblility is in question,

Do you honestly think that if Barack Obama loses this primary, at this point, that Hillary Clinton can draw from his supporters enough to win the GE?

It is generally understood that a lot of the Obama supporters are more reasonable and would vote for Clinton if she won the nomination, they are very similar on the issues. But this is not a given, and Clinton winning now, would bring about a 1984-like thumping in the GE.

Anyone disagree?
Edwards endorses Obama!

What a great time to be a democrat!!!!

Next discussion point

Obama/Edwards 08!?!
Once again, to all the "Democrats in Here" and "Democrats in there" we get it you like Hillary Clinton, there is no need to create a new profile with a fake name and post the same blog all day long.
Seriously, lets get down to the issues, voice our grievances, and try to come together as a party.
If you'd like to keep spamming, you should probably be on myspace.
Hello,
I have been on here for about a month now, and I have noticed that everyone will vote for there own personal reasons.
I hope through this primary and General Election process, I can meet new people and really get a finger on the pulse of Democratic affairs and issues that matter to you.
Knowing the minds of the people and truly representing them in government is what the Democratic Party is all about!
So please, if you get a moment, drop me a line, introduce yourself and we can talk about the things that concern you

Thank you for your time and patience,

McKinley Bailey Campaign Manager
If the General Election was held today, the averages of all polls in all states bring about a very surprising trend and shows us exactly why we should forget the bitterness after June 3rd

Obama vs. McCain
Obama 254
McCain 273
Ties 11

Clinton vs. McCain
Clinton 280
McCain 258

If we come together, whoever our eventual nominee is , will face a better picture than this.

If we work hard and actively campaign, we can send a Democrat to the white house in November!!

I am a campaign manager in the McKinley Bailey Campaign. We are currently working around the clock to not only ensure the Re-Election of State Representative McKinley Bailey, but also to gain Democratic votes in a largely Republican area for the democratic nominee of Iowa Congressional District 4 and Iowa Senator Tom Harkin, as well as the eventual Democratic nominee for the Presidency in the very vital swing state of Iowa.

We are currently looking for volunteers in all areas of America to help to keep the hardest working Representative in the capitol.

Here are some links to see more information about McKinley Bailey

Thanks for listening, get a hold of me if you have any additional questions!
It has just occured to me that 10 years ago, we were all going through the Monica Lewinsky endeavor.
I remember what a big deal this was for Republicans and everyone in the media.

It is really an amazing thing that Clinton was able to do.

The amazing part? That THIS was actually a big deal,

Not A president who fixes elections
Not 4000 lives lost in an unjust war
Not a 9 trillion dollar defecit
Not a recession
Not inept Cabinet members
Not government corruption on all levels

No, none of the things we have suffered in the last eight years.

Just some guy getting a little extra cirricular activity going on.

Life sure was good
Hello,

I really enjoy seeing you all here on party builder. I believe that this is our year and that we are going to be able to win the presidency and widen our majority in the congress.
I am writing to see if I can get your help with my local candidate, McKinley Bailey in IA HD 9.
It is a real Republican area and it is bound to be close. If you want to donate, here is the link to the act blue

If you do not wish to donate there are plenty of other things that you can do to help. I really hope you consider helping!

Thanks
Adam
Is creating a new profile, writing something anti-democrat or anti-obama and than never blogging again please stop.

No one believes that you are not the same person. This isnt the first time this has happened and it probably wont be the last, but please dont get in the way of true progress.
Today I was alerted by one of my good friends, and also a fellow Obama supporter who currently lives in Arizona, about the possiblity of Arizona being a blue state in November.

This obviously caused me great excitement, it is McCain's "home state", but he had told me with the recent scandal of one of there congressmen (who was also a McCain spokesman) and there wonderful amazing Governor, (wonderful and amazing were my words:) ). That we might have a chance. I wanted to know if there is anyone from the state who could shed some light on things down there, and more importantly, if someone would want to take a little time to write a letter to the editor of newspaper down there?

I believe this is worth your attention because a Blue Arizona is something we all want to see!
I am sure everyone is watching this...Looks a final blow to the Clinton campaign. I think, and I hope, she goes on to the very end and we get all the registered democrats we possibly can but...

At this point is it all over?
I thought it would be fun idea to post this.

If you were to vote for one candidate, any one candidate, no matter if they have withdrawn or havent thrown there name in (Kerry, Gore, Bayh) you can still caucus for them. It will be nice to get a finger on the pulse of what everyone thinks.

Comment if you really want, but I would just like to see who you would vote for

Please rate this high so it will stick around longer!

Have Fun!
This is the first in what I plan to be a series of open forum debates between Obama and Clinton supporters right here on the Democratic Party Builder,

Only a few quick rules
1. No profanity
2. No name calling of other DPB blog posters
3. No repeat postings (be original)

As an added bonus, I will donate 5 dollars to whoever's candidate wins the debate!
ME!!!!!

HA. I have just realised how horrible this world would be if Hillary Clinton was president! Her and her many minons and Republican allies have cleared things up for me.

I for one will not drink the Clinton Kool-Aid.

And her is why!

1. Her "gas tax holiday" idea is little more than a cory of McCain's and would cripple our infrastructure.

2. Her views on the war have been mix-matched according to whatever the polls say.

3. She is a polarizing figure and will draw no independants.

4. She is too far behind in the polls to catch Obama.

5. She has bigots on her staff, according to the video that is out today.

6. Obama has raised more money

7. Obama presents more of a choice when compared with McCain.

On and on and on

Thank you Jackie for opening up my eyes!

From here on out, Im for Obama!

Some of you guys are going a bit overboard on the whole Obama vs. Clinton thing. And a few of the really bad ones are just making stuff up.
Here's the truth...

1. Obama is in the lead in pledged delegates and money raised

2. Clinton IS NOT completely out of the race.

3. Clinton WILL back Obama if he wins the nomination

4. Obama WILL back Clinton if she wins the nomination.

5. Clinton will never endorse Ralph Nader.

6. And please, for all the people who say that think that McCain will beat Obama in a debate I have a few things to say to you

* McCain messes up frequently on his speeches (most notably, the Sunni/Shia incident).

* McCain is a hot head and cant keep his cool in a debate.

* McCain marginal against the likes of Paul, Romney and Huck, neither of whom are Barack Obama.

* McCain is 71 and no matter what kind of make up he wears, he will still look old and sickly on the stage with one of the youngest looking presidential candidates.

Thats all
Thought I'd take this time before lunch to drop a few links about my candidate.

I hope all you guys are able to help out with the campaign... all politics is local, but I would love all the help from wherever I can to help turn Iowa blue in November, no matter who the candidate
