Topic: The Senate is expected to take up the Housing Bill this week, after a dispute over energy tax left it stalled before the break. Congressional Quarterly reporter Benton Ives will explain the differences between the House and Senate bills and how the impasse is expected to be resolved.

Topic: Gov’t Search & Seizure of Laptops: The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee last month held hearings on the constitution and legality of the Department of Homeland Security’s practice of searching and seizing laptops and cell phones of American citizen returning to the U.S for abroad. Our guest testified last week on the issue. She also recently returned from a trip overseas and will share what she observed.

Topic: U.S.-Russian relations, and what related challenges and issues the next president will face upon taking office in January 2009. In the Nation magazine, Mr. Cohen wrote that neither Senator McCain nor Obama are addressing serious differences that exist between the two countries, and that the media and other major American politicians are not asking them to do so. President Bush and Russian President Medvedev (dih-MEE'-tree med-VEH-dev) are scheduled to meet today at the G-8 summit that is being held in Japan.

All Obama has is lies, insults and intimidation, Satan is exactly what they deserve. All they have is slime, well slime him all you want, the social conservatives have hated him for thousands of years and it didnt work. So go ahead and try to make yourselves feel important by tearing everyone else down, Satan ran a better campaign. And he is going to win.

Topic: A recent focus group conducted by Mr. Hart among 12 Independent voters in Virginia, recent developments in the presidential campaign, and the Democratic primary contest between Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Hart is the one who opened my eyes to how much the Republicans fear Clinton. He did a focus group with republicans and none of the women could find anything bad to say about Clinton and the men were hesitant to say anything bad about her in front of the women. Hart really knows his stuff.

The reason why Obama Can't win

The reason Obama cant win is he has no issues that he can use in the general election. Try to imagine what it would be like trying to use Obamas talking points on the general public. Or, alternately, allow me to imagine it for you. It is saterday night, 7pm, the family is just finishing dinner and the phone rings:

Junior answers it and after a short exchange says "dad, its the Obama Campaign, they want to talk to someone old enough to vote" and hands the phone to his father.

Slime ball republican; "Good evening, Im calling from the Obama Campaign, may I ask who you intend to vote for?"

Potential voter; " well I usually vote democrat because Clinton was a great president but i don't know anything about Mr Obama"

Slime ball republican; "Then Perhaps a trip to planet Earth would help---or a hearing aide?"

Potential voter; "no, I dont want that, but I don't think you know where I live."

Slime ball republican; "If you don't vote for Obama we will hate you forever, your kids will get beaten up in school, and your pets stink"

Potential voter; "That all might be true but I don't understand why Voting for Obama would make it better"

Slime ball republican; "Democrats are all evil wealthy lobbyist politicians, they want to put pornography in the schools and Hillary Clinton is a liar who has sex and her daughter is gay, will you vote for Obama now?"

Now at this point one of two things will happen. Either the potential voter will say "Hmm, thats true, you've convinced me to vote for Obama.", Or he will say "No, I'm definitely going to vote for McCain, but first I'm going to go buy a shotgun and blow you straight to hell". It is probably about a 50/50 chance.

Here is the problem, If half the people (more or less) end up shooting the phone bank worker, then on average they will only make about two calls each. It wont be very long before there is no one left to make the threatening phone calls. And without people to spread his lies, insults and intimidation, Obama has no platform, which would result in McCain winning.

And believe me, that is looking at it optimistically because you have to be darned good to convince half the people you call.

Absolute proof that there are republicans here.

Don't be fooled by the Obama supporters claiming that the democrats haven't done anything. They have nothing but hatred for Our candidate, our party and everything it stands for. As democrats we have plenty to be proud of.

We passed a farm bill with a veto proof majority yesterday, a veto was threatened.
