To protect the Super Delegates from inside pressures and intimidation and from constitutes at home the final ballet should be secret.
In fact the Super Delegate vote should be a final Primary at the end of the regular Primary.
And .... secrete......mail in.

Also, endorsements are OK but there should be a window early on... after a certain date, all pledges would have to wait until the final Primary.

TOO MUCH ARM TWISTING....CAREERS PUT ON THE LINE... DONATIONS..... This does not, nor has it been a reflection on honest support.

Obama has been forced on us....... and they ask...."Just get over it....."

I wait to see how they handle the Convention.
75,000 backers to intimidate further.
Convention rules are not to be manipulated.

The White Abuse
How Black America got to America was wrong but because they got to America...... they are not living in DarFur.
My people came by choice they say? Well, my people were thrown on boats leaving Ireland not because
of choice but because the landowners could no longer feed them, the tenant workers.
Ships left to America, Canada and Australia. Many were so ill and malnourished they died befIore reaching shore.
They landed with no money, no jobs and they were subjected to discrimination with signs posted
"Irish no need to apply" where jobs were available. As it is with first generations of many races, women did domestic work. The men of the houses often forced themselves on the women. Rape knows no color. The children worked in sweat shops. There are many forms of slavery.

World slavery has had its roots since the beginning of time...... it goes on today.
But, here in America we fought a War to set salavery free. They were finally set free....time to move on.
Don't forget...... women have had to struggle, always, to do just that ...to move on.

We got our vote, 50 years after the black man.
Should we stand up somewhere and say....... "God Damn America"
No......... and I say, all the time....... God Bless America that I, as a member of those early days
have had the opportunity to be what I am........ it takes time. Sometimes it takes generations.

I am the first member of my immigrant family to obtain a college education. Only 150 years.
As a women it took me a lifetime to get the education that was open to just men for so many years.

I don't feel sorry for the blacks... I have more respect for them to do that.
I feel sorry for the ones that do not take ownership of their own respect.

I don't want to see any race as victims. I want to see equal opportunities for all. Live, Love, Work and Play Fair.

That is what it was all about in the 60s.

Your beautiful, talented, smart and you can be anything you want to be...... you can, you can , you can....... just believe it.
It may take awhile though.
60% of college students are women today.
When they graduated they will find a job market with 20% acceptability, as women.
Sorry gang...... black me trump women of any color.
We have had black men as Mayors, Governors, Congress, before a women of any color.....
even in space.. a black man before a women of any color.

Just once...... just once......

We want a women to go first.. but in the end we all want what is best... and she is.
Lucky for us....... we women.

Tolerance Zone

We all have a tolerance zone........ all things operated within tolerance zones.......

Everything...... when subjected to that which is abusive..... will tolerate within a zone and then change.
glass.... breaks
wax....... melts
paper.....tares
iron......bends
In our bodies....... we exceed the tolerance..we get ill.....even cancer.
You say.............
"The worth, character, integrity, value and veracity of a person cannot be judged based on his mistakes or failings (eye of the beholder) alone. A person is the sum total of all that and more -- his failings and his triumph and achievements, his bad decision and his good, wise ones, etc."
**************************************

Sum total of all the parts..... until it crosses the tolerance zone of Character.... some areas are weighted greater with different people.
Some standards are at different levels.
We all have our own tolerance zone.

You know........ when the straw that breaks the camel's back. Some people stay too long, just as with relationships, jobs and marriages.

The truth only hurts when you ignore it or deny it's existence. Truth can never be hidden.
Pay me now or pay me later.
It is all right to tolerate anything.. but you have to know what it is .... and the choice is personal.

Everyone is entitled to their own personal tolerance zone.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/08/opinion/08steinem.html?emc=eta1

So why is the sex barrier not taken as seriously as the racial one? The reasons are as pervasive as the air we breathe: because sexism is still confused with nature as racism once was; because anything that affects males is seen as more serious than anything that affects “only” the female half of the human race; because children are still raised mostly by women (to put it mildly) so men especially tend to feel they are regressing to childhood when dealing with a powerful woman; because racism stereotyped black men as more “masculine” for so long that some white men find their presence to be masculinity-affirming (as long as there aren’t too many of them); and because there is still no “right” way to be a woman in public power without being considered a you-know-what.
We have come a long way baby!

The good wife's guide: Published May 13,1955 Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready, on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have been thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospect of a good meal (especially is favorite dish) is part of the warm welcome needed......................................... Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you will be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh looking. He has just been with a lot of work weary people. Be a little gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it. ...............................................................................Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Gather up schoolbooks, toys, papers act. And then run a dust cloth over the tables. Over the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering for comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction................. Prepare the children. Take a few minutes to the wash the children's hands and faces (if they are small), comb their hair and, if necessary, change their clothes. They are little treasures and he would like to them playing the part............ Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum. Try to encourage the children to be quiet............. Be happy to see him. Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him. Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first, remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours...................... Make the evening his. Never complain if he comes home late or goes out to dinner, or other places of entertainment without you. Instead, try to understand his world of strain and pressure. Your goal: Try to make sure your home is a place of peace, order and tranquility where your husband can renew himself in body and spirit. Don't greet him with complaints and problems. Don't complain if he is late home for dinner or even is he stays out all night. Count this as a minor compared to what he might have gone through that day....................................... Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or have him lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him. Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice. Don't ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity...Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. Your have not right to question him.............. A good wife always knows her place.

Obama tries to buy the NASCAR vote http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writers/tom_bowles/07/11/obama/index.html SI.com has learned that for the first time in history, a major presidential candidate may sponsor a race car in NASCAR’s premier series. According to sources, Barack Obama’s campaign is in talks to become the primary sponsor of BAM Racing’s No. 49 Sprint Cup car for the Pocono race on August 3. Details of the agreement are expected to be worked out over the coming days. A BAM spokesperson has revealed the team will hold a press conference July 23 in Miami to reveal the partnership, currently a proposed one-race deal with an option to continue. Obama will be at the briefing, which will be tied to the “Get Out The Vote” campaign message he spread throughout the 2008 primary season… …While George Bush was prominently featured on Kirk Shelmerdine’s No. 72 car in 2004, this is the first time a national presidential campaign has actually given its own money to make itself a primary sponsor of a race car. ........................The sport has typically shown itself to be a Republican stronghold, and in recent weeks two-time champ Jimmie Johnson is among the growing list of well-known NASCAR stars who have come out in favor of Obama’s opponent, John McCain.

You think the guy you fell in love with last spring is spending the summer flip-flopping his way to the right. Drifting to the center. Going all moderate on you. So you’re withholding the love. Also possibly the money. I feel your pain. I just don’t know what candidate you’re talking about."

I have my flag out today. Poor thing is getting old but there are so many memories with it, I hate to think of replacing it. And, yes, I know the correct way of retiring it, the same way they will retire my old dead body when I am through with it.

Faith Based Government Involvement

BUSH opened the door to government involvement with Faith Base ties to government. A form of buy votes or sincere concerns? One OHIO church that has never voted Republican, voted for Bush after receiving $150,000 dollars. Jumping ahead to the future..... where there is money given, there are rules and regulations and controls in the end that can bring pressure. Separation of Church and State is for the greater safety of our religious freedoms. Our foundation of Charity will lose if government is in involved. The money for Charity and the money from government comes out of the same pocket...... ours..... if the government is sponsoring these programs... why should the individuals step up and contribute twice? I think it is an insult to our religious groups to think they are not meeting the needs of their communities. And, I think it is dangerous to allow the government an opportunity to walk through these protected doors............ once in..... greed can take over. God Bless us and Keep us safe with common sense.

Today... Donate Across State Lines to empower our Senate

Support by June 30 is important ...... This is not the last day to do this but it is the last day of the funding quarter.......... When a candidate has a good showing in the raised funds, it is easier to obtain other supporters...... getting behind a winner...... and not throwing your money away. Today if possible ... every little bit helps it is too close to ignore ALMOST tie in MN, KT, TX, AK..... but still a tad behind Small lead in NH..... but closer to tie.chect comment area for links
Kay Hagen needs help..... she is challenging Dole in NC and is behind by 10-12 Udell is ahead in Colorado by around 10 KS is out of the park for a Republican replacing Hagel... leading by 30 Re: too close to ignore We have an opportunity to win 5-7 NEW SENATE SEATS. And, we have an opportunity to lose them as well. The challenges are "real" ......... Kay Hagan in NC needs help.... taking Dole's seat will not be easy. The rest are almost tied with two leading..... but still tied.
