Register to vote, and send Voltage to play at the Democratic National Convention. We have songs that are perfect for the event already written, and I am already the number one democrat at the DNC.

Doesn't matter if you're convinced or not, just that democrats are hungry to take the White House and create change. Not sure if BO will do it, there's no guarantees, but then, there's no guarantees ANYONE will create positive change...we already know "Change"...Bushit changed how we live (in fear of) what we eat, how we travel, our sense of privacy and security. Yeah, we know change already.
For everyone here: I've noticed people on this site are hung-up on fighting about BO and Hillary, instead of attacking McCain, and dictating what subjects will be discussed. It's simple! The ONLY 2 people that can win the presidency are the 2 front runners that were nominated, so voting a third party or writing in a name will rob a vote from the democratic party and could possibly assist McCain in winning, period. If you don't see that, I hope you embrace it quickly. Want to take that chance of losing? Are you willing to risk your vote and turn it over to McCain? That's lame! Really lame, if you want the ghost of Bush to echo through the halls of the White House another term, then vote against BO. We need to fight that ghost of possibility. That's what we should be discussing and fuming over. Not PUMA's...it's wasted energy. Don't give away your power to ideology again, or something that won't even win.
Don't forget the democratic party, vote for it! Or we face more disasters, more war, more economic pressure. Feel me?

It saddened me on two fronts: First only two people cared to respond about our troops; Secondly, the first response killed me, she refused to give in to the spirit of supporting our troops and dedicating at least one post for them.
Let's change how we care about our troops this year...I miss our troops, we've forgotten them, the media has been pressure to forget them and our Congress wants to give them another 6 months indefinitely because they fear moving them, but they certainly didn't fear putting them over there in harms way! I think it's because we don't have the funds to move them back and it's wrecking havoc on our economy.
Let's not let our troops down again, let's keep the pressure on Congress to BRING OUR TROOPS HOME! - where they belong! Where they can be husbands, fathers, son's and a working class again, where they can protect our own soil, where they are wanted. Let's build and keep the momentum going.
"I'll be long gone before some smart person ever figures out what happened inside the Oval Office." --lil GWB, Washington DC, May 12, 2008
Are you a proud American of an OIL PRESIDENT and what's he doing to our troops and our economy?
This is what we should be discussing - ISSUES. Write the media and ask for their help too focus on our troops.
"Let me start off by saying that in 2000 I said, 'Vote for me. I'm an agent of change.' In 2004, I said, 'I'm not interested in change -- I want to continue as president.' Every candidate has got to say 'change.' That's what the American people expect." Lil B, Wa DC, Mar 5, 2008
WE have the last word about "Change." Countdown.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is a scientific agency within the United States Department of Commerce focused on the conditions of the oceans and the atmosphere. NOAA warns of dangerous weather, charts seas and skies, guides the use and protection of ocean and coastal resources, and conducts research to improve understanding and stewardship of the environment.
In October 2003, the Pentagon published a report titled An Abrupt Climate Change Scenario and Its Implications for United States National Security by Peter Schwartz and Doug Randall. The authors conclude by stating that "this report suggests that, because of the potentially dire consequences, the risk of abrupt climate change, although uncertain and quite possibly small, should be elevated beyond a scientific debate to a U.S. national security concern."
In January 2007, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced she would form a United States Congress subcommittee to examine global warming. Read More »
It has been a busy day in Congress today and while our movement for accountability for the Bush/Cheney White House just took a major leapforward with the testimony of former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan, we also unfortunately took a terrible step backwards with the tragic approval of new FISA legislation. I voted AGAINST this AWFUL FISA law that DEGRADES the privacy guarantees of our Constitution.

He certainly was a central figure within our government and asked all the hard questions. He was a hard working, patient, courteous, polite, fair, serious, but curious man and put everything he did in context. He was fast on his feet, a great wit. He was a great father and mentor to all of us. He was passionate and wanted for American people to understand government better so that we'd make better decisions, so he shared what he knew best. Makes sense, he was an attorney and I always thought he'd make a great senator. Every fiber of his being was idealistic and it will never leave him. We mourn you Tim! They were right, totally right! You DID have a big heart and rose to show the audience. Thank you Tim for being you. We will miss you on Sundays and miss you at debates and Meet the Press. Let's hope someone rises to your same intensity and love of the truth.

Memorial Day was a tragically sad reminder of the enormous human cost of Bush's invasion of Iraq.

We need your help to make a critical decision -- our next official campaign t-shirt.
We recently launched a contest to design a campaign t-shirt, and I couldn't believe the incredible response. We got thousands of great entries. They were creative, inspirational, funny, and beautiful. It was amazing to see the devotion to my mom's campaign come through in each t-shirt. Thank you to everyone who submitted a design!
It wasn't easy to narrow it down, but we've chosen five we think are particularly great, and now we need your help in making our final decision. Please vote for your favorite design -- the winning shirt will go on sale in our online campaign store.
Please click here to see the finalists and vote for your favorite.

When Joe left the presidential race in January, he told us that our work was not yet finished - we still had promises to keep. He said that he would continue to use his position as Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee in the U.S. Senate to confront the crises and challenges facing our nation. And he has done just that.
Some highlights:
In April, Joe chaired two weeks of Iraq hearings in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in an attempt to hold the Bush administration accountable to end this war. During those hearings, Gen. David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker made clear that the strategic purpose of the surge "to create breathing room for a political solution to take hold" has not been realized.
Ambassador Crocker admitted that if the administration was serious about going after al-Qaeda, we'd be focusing Read More »

Democratic voices should be counted always, no matter what & if we're going to be a democratic society it's utterly important.

For 13 hours, he'll lie on a couch in the airplane, drink pomegranate-flavored water and watch reruns of Texas Rangers games from the glory days of Nolan Ryan and Jose Canseco
Eventually, he'll land in Beijing, China, for the 2008 Summer Olympics. He'll pose and smile for photos with great Chinese leaders.
You'll definitely read about it in the newspaper, and so will people just like you all over the world; and you'll probably feel pretty good when you do. Like a bottle of cheap gin the whole globe can pass around, the Olympics somehow make it okay to forget for a little while.
This is helpful for most of us, but somewhat unfortunate for the Tibetan people, whose struggle against occupation has gone on for nearly 60 years
In 1951, the Chinese government annexed Tibet and declared it part of China. In 1959, an uprising resulted in the expulsion of the Dalai Lama; since that time he has run a "government in exile" based in India and become a martyr for global political rights.
On March 10, in honor of the 49th anniversary of China's great experiment in the abuse of state sovereignty, Tibetan monks began to protest en masse the continued demonization of the Dalai Lama and China's efforts to ethnically cleanse Tibetans.
China, for its part, pledged to "resolutely crush" those people. Within days, it launched a fresh military campaign in the region. It kicked out journalists and declared no quarter on religious figures.
Anyway, a generation later, as a reward for Chinese progress and a concession that China has established itself as a modern global player, it gets to host the Olympics!
Irony in such high doses should be fatal.
the last couple of sentences deepen my respect for Hillary's ability to somehow swing votes last minute in key states.
Touche.
