The AHCAARR's are a group of those dedicated to expounding on crisp wit and satirical skeptisim of what is most comically known as Republican conservatism.

Make a copy of your post before you post it, so you have it, and so that others can see that there was no real reason to delete it, when you repost it.

Save yourself the trouble of rewriting it, just repost it.

There was nothing wrong with her terminology if that's really the way she feels.

This has to stop, but we all have to work together to make it stop.

Education, education, education. Learn how to deal with adversity, controversy and objectivity, or all that will be left is monotony.

Let's allow real people with real opinions in the real world, it's better than filtered opinions in a sheltered world. Let's work together to be diplomatic.

We simply cannot continue to be this thick headed as to completely lose the ability to reason with those that differ in perspective. As you must know I am not referring to obvious slander posts, and hers was not one, hers was a legitimate concern, she was treated rudely, and dismissed with censorship.

This cannot be how democrats have discourse.
I really miss Ben, and Shopman

It's really not fair, doesn't anyone care?

I miss all my others friends too.

They didn't do anything I wouldn't do.

It was just a funny joke about a bra.

Shopman's was a bit satire and drama

What's so bad about being silly and funny?

Or calling each other sweetie, dear and honey?

I even miss Jackie and Edison,.... from a distance.

I miss the challenges they posed in an instance.

It must be bad, it must feel sad,

To have your posts all gone, it seems so wrong

I am wishing all the bloggers be brought back in tact.

When will that be? When can we see?

Shopman and Ben again?

The blog is mightier than the pen.
Dear Matt,

If you thought you were helping Obama or the democrats by deleting the comments of Rich off my post, you and anyone else who thinks that are sadly mistaken. Trust me to handle my own remarks on my own posts from here on will you please.

I handle all remarks in an appropriate manner and I assure you the fire of adversity can be doused much more diplomatically and effectively that way rather than trying to quell with censoring.

Continue to censor people with controversial opinions and then you create problematic adversity for the party and for Obama.

This is a "General Warning"

You have no place censoring others regardless of your title as moderator
if you are unable to distinguish between foul language, and racial slurs as opposed to misguided adversarial opinions. Rich did not swear, or use racial slurs, he made a accusation. You are walking on thin ice, if you can't even let a life long democratic man who never swears or abuses anyone on this site, put our candidate under scrutiny.

That looks bad, really bad, much worse than seeing Rich's wild accusations.

Trust me on this Matt, you are making matters worse.

Like a few others who act in a precipitous manner on this site
you are actually creating problems where none really existed before.

Either PM with warnings or figure out another way to get your message across, because what you are doing is counter productive and very, very, wrong.

Do it one more time, let me see another bloggers comment (Sans foul language or racial slurs) on my posts disappear again, I do not care how adversely opinionated it is, do it again, I dare you.
If McCain's pro- life administration succeeds in passing laws which prohibit a woman's right to choose, and she is forced to carry to term an unwanted pregnancy and give birth,.......

Well then folks, that is the equivalent of physical subjugation and domination of
that woman's physical being.

Isn't that is what the Taliban do, physically subjugate and dominate women?

Vote Obama, or lose the freedom to choose.

Vote pro-choice

Please, protect a woman's right to choose.

P.S.

Dear Matt,

If you thought you were helping Obama or the democrats by deleting the comments of Rich off this post, you are sadly mistaken. Trust us to handle remarks on our own from here on will you please. If we handle all remarks in an appropriate manner the fire of adversity can be doused diplomatically, however, censor people with controversial opinions and you create problematic adversity for the party and for Obama.

This is a "General Warning"

You have no place censoring others regardless of your title as moderator
if you are unable to distinguish between foul language, and hate speech as opposed to misguided adversarial opinions.

Here is the post of a disgruntled democrat that was just erased, from who I do not know, and I don't care, even if it is a repo agitator, it does not matter, it is not the point.

...I was in the process of commenting on Janes comment... who apparently agreed...with the poster... Jane, is a friend,..except she did not say she would vote for McCain so I wasn't sure where she stood...

Anyway this is what I wanted to say to her, but I never had the chance.

From me Kristine aka "Vidya"

"Well, perhaps he is less qualified than some, but I do think he has enough appropriate qualifications for the job, and surely you would prefer him to McCain, right?"

No, I did not have a chance to comment, or defend my choice. I no longer have the privilege to choose which post I comment on, that is now done for me.

No one is allowed say anything unfavorable about Obama on this site. I read this post, and yes she is mad, and frankly with the crap the is being pulled on this site lately so am I. I do believe I have had enough.

We are all adults here, we can decide for ourselves how to respond or not to at all. Stop the censorship, or more and more democrats will feel alienated, censorship of this sort is exactly the what is causing an uprising within the party. Censorship is wrong, and the scissor happy cutting of posts needs to stop, before it gets around, everyone heres about it and it damages the GE.

Here is the post as it was in it's entirety...I believe you have the right to read it, and it is wrong for the Democratic party, and/or this site to imply that you don't.

"Well I see that our Speaker has been flapping her gum again. I am a Calif and think I have the right to be insulted when she bashes Hillary supporter. I AM A HILLARY SUPPORTER and will say right up front . I WILL NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA, IN FACT I WILL VOT REP FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE as I have talk to many others who feel the same way, so you are losing 2 vote per person. 1 for Rep and one taken away from Registered Dem. I am 82, have voted since FDR, still work in the public every day and pay my share of income tax, so have a right to complain and be highly insulted. WE HILLARY SUPPORTERS ARE NOT WHAT IS DESTROYING THIS DEM PARTY, but the lack of the Dem led Congress to do what we sent them there to do, the lack of the DNC to be neutral until a nominee was picked by the American People, by this I mean the people of Mich and Florida were left out .
Had the DNC, Speaker Pelosi put aside there differences and been fair about the choice of people in this country , then and only then could the Dem party been united. Hillary would have been a better choice to run the country, would have been fair to ALL THE PEOPLE, regardless of race , color, gender, age or creed.
I will say this much to the Democratic Party, don't come crying after this is over and either we have a REP Pres, or an inexperience, race , well educated driven man with no plan to save this country from another depression, another war, another separation from reality man, whose main goal is to make a history statement rather than lead a country and ALL THE PEOPLE in the right direction.

SO BASH HILLARY AND HER SUPPORTERS right into the hands of the REPUBLICANS"

Again this is what I wanted to be able to say to Jane, who agreed.

"Well, perhaps he is less qualified than some, but I do think he has enough appropriate qualifications for the job, and surely you would prefer him to McCain, right?"

If you're still out there Jane I'd like to discuss this further.

If, we can at least have that opportunity, that freedom.
Was Laura's post deleted?

She reported what happened recently regarding a vote on finally getting rid of the antiquated, whacko, caucus system, she did it with objectivity....

I had a comment I wanted to make....on her post.

If posts like that are deleted...because they question motives, opinions and choices, then attention will be drawn to this site and this party, and it will not positive attention.

Obama does not need more negative attention, when little minions start making deletions of all types of objective concerns and questions.... it becomes an unsafe place for all democrats.

In other words, if it is not safe to post anything but cheerful, cheerleading posts of our candidate, ......and critical posts of anyone other than democratic candidates, even cheap shots, unfavorable pictures of the opposition, even doctored photo's, but never question our democratic candidate, never disagree with his actions, opinions or choices?

Wow. Well here's my comment to her post, which I believed to be on a valid issue of concern to many within the party....., I am posting it even though her post seems to have, magically vanished...I wonder if this one will be erased as well.

The day we stop questioning a candidates choices is the day we as a party display a collective lack of reasoning....

Of course they question that judgment, caucuses are archaic, and should have been ruled obsolete years ago...

Who wouldn't question a man of change who can't effectively endorse a change which is a simple and much needed change. Could they have made it any easier for him?

I am voting for him, and I campaigned for him during his senate race. We weren't easy on him then either. We weren't afraid to have plenty of questions for him, why should we be afraid now? One thing he still has learn to do, if he wants to win the GE, is to pass on the easy road.

If you talk change, then writing a check with your words means putting money where your mouth is.
Protect a woman's right to chose in America!

On that creepy/CRAZY "Focus on Family" website I saw this, and it made my blood curdle.

"COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. " Pro-life initiative Measure 11 offers South Dakota voters an opportunity to stand in defense of preborn human life during the November election, and carries the endorsement of Focus on the Family Action in conjunction with the South Dakota Family Policy Council.

Both groups are urging South Dakota voters to vote “yes” on Measure 11, which would prohibit abortion except in cases of rape or incest, or when the life or health of the mother is endangered by the continued pregnancy.

“South Dakota continues to be a driving force in efforts to protect women and the preborn from abortion. Focus on the Family Action is pleased to lend its support to this important ballot effort that will result in saving the lives of preborn children,” said Tom Minnery, senior vice president of Government and Public Policy for the organization.

“South Dakotans know the value of human life and the deep threats against it,” South Dakota Family Policy Council President Chris Hupke said. “Our organization pledges to come alongside this historic effort and the state’s voters to help ensure a November victory for Measure 11.”

South Dakota, please say NO, to Pro-life initiative Measure 11!

Focus on the Family is one hellfire and brimstone of an organization, how can anyone worry about Obama, with nuts like that supporting McCain?
I can think of many reasons why....most have been discussed, of course being a democrat makes all the difference I need, but there is another huge factor.

The V.P short list for McCain

Romney
Pawlenty
Portman
Ridge
Lieberman
Hutchison
Palin

None of which could add up to a great duo.

On the other-hand Obama just can't go wrong. He's got great choices, hmmm could it be that democrats just make better politicians?

Clinton

Sibelius

Biden

Clarke

Bayh

Bayh is my favorite, but there are others too, not listed here, and any one of them would compliment Obama quite nicely. The same cannot be said for McCain.

McCain/Romney Yikes, that is scary.

Seems like a pretty clear choice to me, even without the great selection of Veeps for Obama, McCain is just not in the same league.

Vote Democratic

That's the quarterly profit for Exxon Mobil.

I read Mikey's post, he's right.

I read Beachman's (MOB), post, he's right too.

We do not need more off shore drilling.

That's how Exxon slips under the radar with their outlandish profit margin, they say it goes right back into finding energy sources, can guess you where?

Who profits from that kind of research?

Exxon.

Er...early Saturday morning... well anyway..

It's late, I just got home...and I heard this joke...

It's funnier after a few glasses of wine..but here goes...

It was the mailman's last day on the job after 35 years of carrying the mail through all kinds of weather to the same neighbourhood.

When he arrived at the first house on his route he was greeted by the whole family there, who congratulated him and sent him on his way with a big gift envelope.

At the second house they presented him with a box of fine cigars.

The folks at the third house handed him a selection of terrific fishing lures.

At the fourth house he was met at the door by a strikingly beautiful woman in a revealing negligee. She took him by the hand, gently led him through the door, and led him up the stairs to the bedroom where she blew his mind with the most passionate love he had ever experienced.

When he had had enough they went downstairs, where she fixed him a giant breakfast: eggs, potatoes, ham, sausage, blueberry waffles, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. When he was truly satisfied she poured him a cup of steaming coffee.

As she was pouring, he noticed a dollar bill sticking out from under the cup's bottom edge. "All this was just too wonderful for words," he said, "but what's the dollar for?"

"Well," she said, "last night, I told my husband that today would be your last day, and that we should do something special for you. I asked him what to give you."

He said, "Fuck him, give him a dollar."

The lady then said, "The breakfast was my idea."

Students in an advanced Biology class were taking their mid-term exam. The last question was, 'Name seven advantages of Mother's Milk,' worth 70 points or none at all.

One student in particular was hard put to think of seven advantages.

He wrote:

1.) It is perfect formula for the child.
2.) It provides immunity against several diseases.
3.) It is always the right temperature.
4.) It is inexpensive.
5.) It bonds the child to mother, and vice versa.
6.) It is always available as needed.

And then, the student was stuck. Finally, in desperation, just before the bell indicating the end of the test rang, he wrote . . .

7.) It comes in cute containers.

He got an A.
We are the democrats, this is what and who we are.

Democrats are mutli-taskers, who can balance the budget, and create effective social programs that are productive for the economy, it does not have to be one or the other. The Clintons have already proved that. Creativity works.

Democrats are the great communicators, who are willing to knock heads and work together to find a common denominator for the greater good.

Democrats are the compassionate ones, willing to help the needy and share their time, energy and assets with those who are less fortunate and help them become self-empowered.

Democrats are the conscientious ones, who conserve the earth, the environment, and wildlife.

Democrats value education for all, knowing that a separatist society of haves and have nots, will only bring us down as a culture.

Democrats celebrate the arts and sciences and are thoughtful and considerate to what innovations the future holds.

Democrats are for strengthening the nation as a whole, and not just an elite few.

Democrats are the caring ones, those who are in favor of quality healthcare for the needy and under privileged.

Democrats have creativity at their dispense and use it to avoid needless war and bloodshed for profit.

Democrats are not consumed by greed, personal gain and ambition, they want things to better as a whole, not just for themselves.

Yes.

Democrats are the compassionate, creative, communicators working toward social evolution, all the things that seem to scare republicans.

Wouldn't you like to be one too?

The lawmakers who thought No Child Left Behind, (NCLB) was a good idea were elitists who never cared about the underprivileged children who needed more funding for education. Guess who? The Bush administration has done it's level best to promote private education, and ruin public education. Believe me, they have already come dangerously close to their initial goal. They have now left millions of children, nation wide, far, far behind.

Due to the teach to the test model of NCLB, teachers have to assign books that are on the required tests. It is a limitation not without it's educational sacrifice.
Funding is awarded to schools that excel, and schools in need are deprived.

The reward and punishment system adopted as the accepted method of class/school control, destroys character and robs the student of their intrinsic motivation. It is very sad to see our public school systems systematically destroyed because of ruse and manipulative ploy to promote private education for the affluent and remove public education for the needy.

We need to get rid of NCLB, all together. We do not need Bush's destructive legacy lingering on after the White House is Blue. Naturally, I like Obama's plan to pay teachers more, but we care about the kids who are not getting their needs met due to the destructive nature of NCLB.

Schools that test high, get money stay open, schools that need the most money and help, close, where do those students go?

They overcrowd existing schools. The system is a cancer, it cannot be changed or helped. NCLB must be eradicated, like the cancer it is, so that learning can once again be the priority, not testing for money.

McCain says he will keep NCLB but make changes. Obama needs to differ from McCain on this issue to a more progressive degree and take a real stance against this destructive manipulation of America's Public School system.

If Obama promised to remove NCLB and replace it with a more comprehensive and compassionate system of true learning assessment, the American Federation of Teachers would be totally supportive. Obama would also gain more solidarity from other core groups as well, more of the women's vote, more of the working class whose children attend public schools, more of the elderly vote who prioritize education and youth even more their own well being.

Speaking out against NCLB will liberate and bring real change from the bondage Bush has imposed on our public school system with his "No Child Left Behind" ruse. Please write to Obama and ask him to reconsider his thinking on NCLB, and ask him to take a different stance, a much different stance than McCain!
A Japanese venture company, Genepax, has unveiled a car on that runs on water. All it requires is a litre of water. In fact, any kind of water to be exact, whether its river, rain, sea water, or even Japanese tea. Its an electric powered car that runs solely on hydrogen dioxide.
"The main characteristic of this car is that no external input is needed. The car will continue to run as long as you have a bottle of water inside for you to add from time to time," said Kiyoshi Hirasawa, Chief Executive Officer of Genepax, after he proudly announced the company's invention.
Once water is poured into the water tank at the back of the car, the newly invented energy generator takes out the hydrogen from the water, releases electrons and finally generates electrical power.
"We highly recommend our system since it does not require you to build up an infrastructure to recharge your batteries, which is usually the case for most electric cars," said Hirasawa, who is hoping to advertise the car in time for the upcoming G8 Summit in Hokkaido, Japan.
I often wonder that about some people like FOS, for example. People who are so judgmental of others to the degree that they feel comfortable calling people names, insulting them, and generally just spewing hate. I mean it can't feel good. Here are my comments to the latest attempt by FOS to slander me on a post, and be insulting. Not the first, probably not the last, but it addresses me on the post, so I am posting the post again, because maybe it will help her see how being judgmental is self destructive.

Like I said, yelling, insulting, calling people bad names, that can't feel good, in fact it is quite unhealthy. I hope she gets the help she needs, becomes accountable and compassionate, instead of continuing to be judgmental and insulting. Best of luck to you FOS.
