Maybe the third debate can be at a local dirt track; on your mark, get set, pull the cord and till away! Obama would pop-a-wheely and smoke that old, shaky man having breathing difficulties, leaving him in the dirt!
Yeah well, what's up with McCain's "apperachicks" what the heck was that about? What about standing in front of the camera at the end and Brochaw asking him to move? If McCain thought that the energy bill comment, "where it came to the floor and you wouldn't believe who voted for energy, "That one,"' was the knock-out, forget it. Talk about distraction again, I think you hit yourself McCain! Give it. Just save everyone from voting, you can back out now, be a sport and start something new, save our country MONEY from having to vote this election, just give it up! You're J-ello to the ticket! You let your puppy do all the yippin' (I omitted the 'g' since she does).
You are out of touch McCain. After everyone finishes fact checking whether a tiller is to plow, or part of a boat rudder, you're finished. You couldn't steer either one! LOL. You came to pick a fight with Barack Obama, but once again he talked about issues in his cool, relaxed manner, while you were trying to start a fire. To say he was going to purchase off all the bad loans, what the hell was the almost one trillion bail-out; talking about KGB and all the old campaign talking points we've already heard didn't cut it. McCain is 20th Century Fear Mongering, while Obama is the 21st Century Comfort.
Right off the bat, I was impressed that Barack took the time to learn how much TN was paying for gasoline ($3.40 gal. I'm moving there, dang. We're paying $4.65 plus). Too, Barack said he'd work with other countries to figure out how best to move forward with economy, since it's a global problem. He's a detailed person and we need that.
All this debate proved was after being billed that McCain was going to bring his boxing gloves, that McCain is a Wiener afraid to hit. What a BACK STABBER; he couldn't, and wouldn't, bring it. What a wuss; pick a fight, then you can't do it to Obama's face! Too afraid to lie, but let the VP do it. I agree with Chris Matthews that it's disgraceful to use Palin the way he does in a negative campaign; he uses her mouth; she's getting used! Too, McCain had a very condescending tone throughout the night, attack Barack with little pecks, instead of attacking issues. Barack addresses the issues, and he steered the boat right into the question.
His campaign is doing one thing, while McCain's doing another. He baked his own cake and it doesn't fit the molds. I wonder if it was billed that way in order to bait Barack, hoping he'd get negative, and then McCain would attack him for being grumpy, but it didn't work out that way, so McCain became hawkish anyway and stood in front of the camera. Ouch.
Watch, tomorrow McCain will whine about not getting favorable attention, while he and Cindy rushed off to leave this venue; and the Obama's stayed to mingle...likeable people, stay and mingle.
It's too bad Obama will inherit a military deployed where it shouldn't be, huge deficits, the world have changed and God bless Barack in solving this puzzle to create better change. I'm willing to help. I'm voting for Obama FIRST! Votin' fer "That ONE!"

VOTE FOR MICHELLE OBAMA
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/larry.king.live/
CONGRATULATIONS!
At the convention, Michelle related the story about how Barack gripped the steering wheel of his car and he drove tentatively down the street, protecting his new little newborn daughter. He checked the review mirror frequently to catch a peek just to make sure things were fine.
I trust that Obama checked more than his review mirror on this economy strife and has checked the mirror frequently on other issues as well. I TRUST him fully. He did contact Bill Clinton and others in making his decisions, he keeps informed, and he maintains communication with who he needs to.
Barack gets my vote, for being a: slow, steady, reasonable, intelligent man that is successful at rallying America for CHANGE. He's a uniter, and a man that appears, and acts and WILL emerge as most presidential.
Congratulations to Barack and his family for all the hard work in gaining the electorates needed. We're SIX away. SIX! It touched my heart, when he made a pledge to give his daughters what he had, he's done a great job in moving that direction, not only for his daughters and family, but the human family. He really cares and is concerned. Can you imagine how happy and proud his daughters will be when their daddy becomes the president? Over joyed, so will I. It's going to be a huge relief actually, I'll breath again. He's already completed a mission to lead a beautiful path for his daughters by working so diligently on this campaign.
All Aboard! Calm and Steady as he goes! He's the beacon of light shining through this fog.

Test the logic of statements made by homophobic organizations against these criteria.
Common fallacies of logic and rhetoric:
Ad homonym - attacking the arguer and not the argument. (I SEE THIS HERE ALLOT. :)
Argument from "authority".
Argument from adverse consequences (putting pressure on the decision maker by pointing out dire consequences of an "unfavorable" decision).
Appeal to ignorance (absence of evidence is not evidence of absence).
Special pleading (typically referring to god's will).
Begging the question (assuming an answer in the way the question is phrased).
Observational selection (counting the hits and forgetting the misses).

He was reprimanded by the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Ethics for "improper conduct" on November 20, 1991 after he accepted $1 million in campaign contributions from the Lincoln Savings head, Charles Keating. Keating had wanted federal regulators to stop "hounding" his savings and loan association. The committee deemed Cranston's misconduct the worst among the Keating Five.

Stevens’ Latest Problem: Supporting Wall Street Donors As Alaskans Face Consequences Of Fiscal Meltdown From a Campaign Money Watch press release
Today Campaign Money Watch, a nonpartisan campaign finance watchdog group, criticized Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK) for siding with wealthy Wall Street, banking, and insurance industry donors who have given him $595,279 in political donations since 1989 instead of the Alaska voters who are struggling to get by in a troubled economy that is now in the midst of a financial crisis.

Ted Stevens helped lay groundwork for current financial crisis
Headlines across the country highlight the troubles of Wall Street and the economy, yet Senator Ted Stevens has been close to Wall Street firms for years.
"Senator Stevens helped lay the groundwork for today's financial crisis. How unfortunate that Stevens is on trial for seven felony counts related to accepting illegal gifts instead of helping fix this mess," said Bethany Lesser, spokeswoman for the Alaska Democratic Party. "Stevens supported wealthy Wall Street banking institutions, the insurance industry, and financial services industry at the expense of Alaska . Alaska families are struggling to get by in a troubled economy that is now in the midst of a financial crisis. We need a new direction that demands accountability from Wall Street and enforces oversight." (There's been an exodus and the media doesn't even talk about it.)

Now, McCain and other politicians who pushed for the invasion are seeking to emphasize the progress, albeit fragile, of the current troop surge in Iraq.
Scheunemann was on board with the Project for the New American Century, whose letter to Bush nine days after the Sept. 11 attacks pointed to Iraq as a possible link to the terrorists.
The letter said American forces must be prepared to support "by all means necessary" the U.S. government's commitment to opponents of Saddam Hussein.
Scheunemann was among the letter's 37 signers, a Who's Who of neoconservative luminaries including William Kristol and Richard Perle.
More military:
The exercises were held less than a month before the outbreak of the 2008 South Ossetia war. Almost concurrently, Russia conducted it's own military exercises in the north Caucasus (including North Ossetia), called Caucasus Frontier 2008. Read More »
Since the debate was geared and billed as Sarah's debate, I'll start with her first. Sarah was stiff and nervous for the first half hour, appeared robotic, overly ready, too fast, rehearsed, full of rhetoric, stumbled over words that you could predict she'd say because she'd say it out of order, but quickly rope it back into her sentence.
AUDACITY: Sarah scored at avoiding answering directly, and was even bold enough to suggest her own question and answered it for herself. Sarah chided, mocked, attacked, clawed Biden, and even injected a few falsehood at every opportunity she could. Odd moment and it seemed preplanned to insult Gwen Ifill, the moderator, since Republicans perceived she would be unfair with her questions since she wrote a book about four historical black figures and Barack Obama is one. So, Sarah over reacted and someone forgot to mention Gwen's book isn't even out yet. Ridiculous, and I score Gwen with a fine job and she was professional with her handling. Democrats have nothing to fear. We scored off of Sarah and Biden scored off McCain.
UNNCESSARY ACTIONS: Winking is folksy, maybe to a Republican, but that's debatable, it's folksy if you're trying to prove you're charismatic, but cute doesn't apply to government policy, unless your a redneck, then it's manipulation to pander to voters. Who cares if she's been sweet, I think it was more an outlet to prove she wasn't nervous. Flirting with everyone, winking and even a 'shout out' was a sorry attempt to score points, very unbecoming to a leadership
Read More »She makes a great fit with McCain, they abuse their power. She orders a Police CHIEF to fire her sisters husband over child support and visitation issues. This police chief refused to fire his deputy, so she FIRED the Police Chief and said she was making an overhaul of the police department because she didn't like it. Hum. Her executive experience allows her to fire another executive that protects our freedom of threats of harassment? She's under a investigation for her incredible actions of abusing power. Not only is SHE under investigation, but so is her husband! I'll write a post and add pictures of the 4th of July parade. McCain certainly is rolling the dice on this catty woman! I'll elaborate later...I'm thoroughly disgusted.
Also, our great Commander in Regime Change announced Thursday he'd provide a 5.75 MILLION dollars to war-torn Georgia. In a memorandum for Secretary of State Condi, Bush said the aid was meant to help Georgia meet "the humanitarian needs of conflict victims and those displaced by recent violence in Georgia." "It is important to the national interest to furnish assistance under the Act, in an amount not to exceed 5.75 Million from the United States Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund, for the purpose of meeting unexpected and urgent refugee and migration needs," Bush said.
Well, I had to come back here after reading a breaking news to increase the 5.75 million to one BILLION. Over the past several days, two American military ships have docked in the Black Sea port of Batumi, a few dozen kilometers down the coast from Russian peacekeeper posts and Russian military ships anchored off the west coast of Georgia. The USS McFaul, a navy destroyer, along with the Coast Guard cutter Dallas, brought nearly 100 tons of humanitarian assistance to help feed and clothe an estimated 128,000 people and a third ship is expected to arrive in a couple days.
Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov assailed the US mission as an act of destabilization. "Battleships do not normally deliver aid, and this is gunboat diplomacy - it does not make the situation more stable," the RIA-Novosti news agency quoted him as saying.
4 September visit to Tbilisi by US Vice President Dick Cheney is meant to further underline that message of support for Georgia.
Georgia, which has been engaged in military conflicts with Russia, has a close ally, US.

With profound gratitude and great humility, I accept your nomination for the presidency of the United States.
Let me express my thanks to the historic slate of candidates who accompanied me on this journey, and especially the one who traveled the farthest - a champion for working Americans and an inspiration to my daughters and to yours - Hillary Rodham Clinton. To President Clinton, who last night made the case for change as only he can make it; to Ted Kennedy, who... Read More »
It happened in Denver!
Yes. Barack Obama's team built Rome in a day! Don't believe it, watch it on the tube in time lapse-fast speed. Amazing!
Language started in Greece. The oldest living language was found in Crete 1,400 BC. Greece built an empire of language. Do not be afraid to speak out against war. Do not be afraid to construct an peaceful world. We can build it, yes we can. He built it and we're going to keep going; we'll survive, like language.
In early U.S. history, people acquired large holdings and maintained wealth and handed it down to several generations-purveyors of snobbery. The seeds we sowed, the fruits of our labor, is a plutocracy - ruled by "the wealthy."
I'll have to check with my staff on how many houses I own. ~~John McCain
WEALTH: In early United States history, people acquired large holdings and maintained wealth and handed it down to several generations - purveyors of snobbery.
We have a plutocracy - "rule by the wealthy". We need to pull down the pillars.
PILLAR of Obama: Reminds us of the Greek pillars. Traditional. Classy. Solid. Builds the base, then moves to the capitol. He's the Temple of Hercules. The sundial says it's time to kick the Lion out of it's Den.
HIJACK THE LAW OF EQUILIBRIUM:
We’re no longer in the middle ages. Build an Peaceful Empire, not a Bully Empire.
Democracy - IS the "rule by the majority". Build a Democracy, not a Plutocracy the Snobbery Empire. The rows of columns underwent constant change throughout Greek antiquity. Just as the pillars fall, a better one replaces it and builds better strength. Time to pull down George's pillars. Plato's ideal state is an aristocracy. Aristocracy is a hereditary form of government, where rule is established through an internal struggle over who has the most status and influence over society and internal relations. Power is maintained by an hereditary elite, from a caste, class, family (dynasty or even some individuals). Pull down the Bush Dynasty and his global regime changing. Time to ring the bell of liberty and build a new glorious government on a hill.

And McCain's convention is in my home town of Dayton, Ohio! Montgomery County. Arghhhh. Probably held at Hara Arena, where I used to go to concerts, basketball games and watch hockey with my great grandfather. If I went back there, I could gather a small army (my mother came from a family of 13 children) and storm that place. :O
We have to be grateful to Hillary too. She fought a hard campaign and was so very gracious giving this beautiful gift to Barack. She didn't hesitate in grabbing that mike and taking charge in reading the proclamation to nominate Barack. My heart swells with grief, pride and joy simultaneously. We lost a beautiful sister, but gained a beautiful brother. And in gaining that brother, we made leaps of unity.
Right after the Democratic Roll Call and this monumental nomination, what would have the audacity to slap my tearful senses and stop my melting into the floor? McCain's commercial arrived on my television screen, picking on Barack for not taking Hillary as a VP. Can you believe it, I thought? This dark haired girl proclaims, "Now go ahead and vote him (McCain), it's ok, really." And walks off.
So yeah, so let's mirror this, like I keep preachin! "Go ahead, vote Barack, really, it's OK, and EVEN Hillary said it's ok. Really I saw it with my own eyes, it's okay, REALLY!" Then walk off and vote.
Can you imagine what this will do to Shawn Hannity and Rush Limbaugh? Fat guys are having coronary day!
Celebrate! Cheer! Rejoice! I am. :)
Here's a portion of 2 messages I got from McCain's manager: Rick Davis
(warning - they're shaking in their knee boots...you know, the ones they wear to walk thru their own sh@t).
"My opponent broke his pledge to the American people to accept public financing during the general election - a pledge I have kept. The Obama Democrats are raising unprecedented amounts of money. They and their liberal special interest allies - Big Labor, MoveOn.org, Hollywood elites and other left-wing groups - plan to spend nearly $1 BILLION in an effort to mow over Republican candidates with negative and misleading attack ads that will play non-stop across our country's airwaves from now until Election Day (LOL, how many Hillary commercials have they done? I heard today it's FIVE! Carry on!)
- especially in the essential swing states. Despite what the Obama Democrats and the liberal media would have you believe, my campaign and the RNC rely on the generous voluntary contributions of Republican activists like you for the support we need to answer their barrage of assaults with the truth. Our immediate goal is to reach 2 million individual supporters by the night our Convention ends - September 4th.
After naming his running-mate, Senator Joe Biden, our campaign believes Senator Obama will receive a bump in polling numbers after this week's Democratic Convention in Denver. Senator Obama's bump in the polls means we need to re-double our efforts this week as we head into our own Convention starting September 1st. We're focused on electing the man we all know is ready to lead, a man who puts his country before all else, John McCain. (NOT!) That's why I'm asking you to make an immediate donation to our campaign As of September 1st, we'll be limited in the amount of money we can spend to elect John McCain. Senator Obama broke his promise to accept federal funds and will be able to spend WHATEVER HE WANTS TO DEFEAT US. (EXPLAINS WHY THEY'RE WEARING THEIR PUTTING ON THEIR HIP WADERS, THEY'RE GOING TO GET FLOODED!!) Any amount you can give today - up to the legal limit of $2,300 will go a long way. (LOL. THEY AREN'T ASKING FOR $5, $10, BUT SUGGESTING $2,300...YOU KNOW, POCKET CHANGE!!! THEY JUST DON'T GET IT, DO THEY??)
How does this link to the invasion of Annenberg crap here today, here's how... Read More »
