Register to Vote at Rock the Vote

Register to vote, and send Voltage to play at the Democratic National Convention.  We have songs that are perfect for the event already written, and I am already the number one democrat at the DNC.

21 months ago we formed a “527” Pac to use as a vehicle to fund our organization and Progressive Issues and Candidates. We had a hope that there would be some large donors step forth to contribute towards the maintenance of our programs and sites. This has not happened. For that matter neither have the small donations. There have been a few but not enough to maintain an office and pay the bills.   Read More »
On June 6th, 2008 the average price of gasoline across the nation rose to $4 per gallon. “There’s nothing worse for our economy than surging energy prices at record highs,†said Mark Zandi, Chief Economist for Moodys.com. What do Jesse James and Big Oil have in common? Nothing if you believe the legends of Jesse James, who supposedly robbed from the rich and distributed his ill gotten gains to the poor. Big Oil robs from all of us and keeps the ill gotten gains for themselves.   Read More »

I am officially requesting anyone who reads this to invite me as a friend. That would be Rick Sturm at r_f_sturm@yahoo.com. You also need to send another to my new account, which is Rick Sturm at r.sturm44@gmail.com.

I'm considering dropping the groups that I belong to on my first account, so that I can use Gmail for blogging. I don't want to get rid of the first account, because it actually has my profile and everything and I just really don't want to re-do it. I also plan to keep that E-mail address as the one I use for personal E-mail.

Most of the groups I belong to don't seem to have any activity, except for 2008 Presidential Blog, so unless I get some friends from the other groups, I'll probably drop those.

Remember folks, you don't have to agree with me to be a friend, here.

Thanks,

Rick Sturm

With this blog the 100,000 point level has been broken, and even though the points do not covert to cash they do show how much work you can do. If I the dial up boy can top 100,000 point level in six months then I know everyone else can do it too, so the more all of you use this website the more our right to freedom of speech is exercised. Please contribute your efforts as much as possible here, and rock n’ roll this country back to a democracy that we can all be truly proud to say is the best.

From my understanding there is a need for poll watchers needed for the polls on 02-05-08, and if you are interested you need to contact either me to pass it on to the person that got me into it here in Missouri, or you should contact someone locally ASAP. I do not know which states are in need of poll watchers, or exactly which polling places need them, but I will post a list of states below that are voting on 02-05-08.

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah

Just look back over the last twenty years there has never been a single month with deflation, and millions of Americans do not make a penny more in wages really.
