Campaign Finance Reform
About the Author
A group for those who believe Campaign Finance Reform is an important issue, if not the most important issue facing our country. Also a place for the discussion of everything from modest measures like the McCain-Feingold soft money ban to full public financing of elections.

YA''T'EEH!

Should Mccain be elected, with all of the infighting in the party following is America 2013 state of the union.

My felloow American Citizen's, I am sorry that things did not workout the way I planned. As you all know in in April 1st of 09 we were forced to institute the draft. All the illegals we were hiring as cannon fodder for a green card got smart, they will no longer play the game. It was hoped to have won the war in Iraq.

However as you all know Israel decided to attack Iran, and we were obligated to go into the war on behalf of our ally. We are at risk of losing in Afganistan. We were not counting on war in Pakistan, but since our man Musharafe got overthrown we were forced to declare war there. Bin laden is still alive and doing well. Syria decided to get into the act, and now we have added problems south of here in the conflict with Venezuela.
The KIAs in the handful of conflicts we have now Have gone beyond 200,000 We presently have 1,000,000 soldiers in several war fronts and another couple hundred thousand as advisors in a couple of other hotspots in South America.

There are about 2,000,000 million young men scattered about Europe, Canada, and Mexico that have avoided the draft. Nine out of ten Americans are homeless, and several million more war returnes can not find a job. Half a mil more have commited suicide. THey did us a favor becuase we did not have any way to help them in the first place. They were just dead weight. Oil is holding at $400.00 dollars per barrel and our economy is just a tad slow.

Support me as your president four four more years, and I can insure peace and prosperity within the first 2 years of my second term. No matter how many more young Americans die. We still have plenty of blacks, Hispanics, and a few Native Americans that will do the job for you and I.
JUST BE THANKFUL BLACKS HISPANICS AND A HANDFUL OF NATIVE AMERICANS WE HAVE LEFT, ARE BORN TO BE CANNON FODDER.

Thank you
John McCain
POTUS

There was a post recently where someone, who will remain nameless, posted another user's personal email address and their whole name in addition to their child's name. To me this goes beyond the realm of common decency. To publish personal information about someone who disagrees with your point of view out of spite and hatred.

I'm wondering how many other people feel this way also. Is this over the line or is it alright to post personal information about people on this site. I bring this issue up because I noticed that it happened again in a comment to a post just today. Someone revealed the full name of someone they disagree with.

Let me know if this is acceptable practice as I want to play by the rules but would like the playing field to be even.
The Elk and Deer, I understand now, my grandpa reminded me of the following.
Like the Deer:
To always be aware and be gentle with the use of word and, thought and touch in my demeanor.
To hone my ability to listen and make wise decision. So as to merit gracefully the appreciation of beauty and balance thereof.

To learn and understand the what I require to survive, to be reciprocal and giving by making sacrifices for the power of Higher good, by choosing the alternative path that leads to good, so that my humble goals in life are not put in jeopardy.
_________________________________________________________

Like the Elk I must develop great stamina and resilience. Not to be as unpredictable as the Elk because I will not reach my goals. Not to allow falling into traps of anger. To be sensitive in signs of danger when attacked, or threatened. Stand my ground respectfully. Even if standing alone, but always with humility and wisdom of proper judgement, like the Elk uses his powerful antlers for defense.

To become more observant of subtile energies that surround me.
If not I will not become a true leader. I must keep my space sacred. I must master maintaining my emotional balance and keep agressiveness in check.

I must demand respect reciprocally and greatly prideful privately as publicly, and always guard against egocentrism. Always be humble and honest.
Peace.

Post Data, I have already made my appology public.
It is already 10:30 west coast time.
I must say good night all. Grandpa sends his greetings. I must attend him. He is in need of his pain medication.
Ya''at'eeh!
I humbly and truly from the heart appologize to all here except for the person known as, Real Politics101.
Earlier the latter individual attacked me by callimg me a Moron, with out provocation other than my having commented honestly on what the pundits were reporting from the O Factor with O'rielley, on fox news.
I lost my temper and I went off on him pretty badly. I later felt ashamed for having put on a spectacle and showing a bad side of me, which I assure will never happen again. I spoke to grandpa about it and he told me an appology was in order from me to all on PB, for having lowered myself to this individual's level.
I agree with my grandpa, I as a minor youth have disrespected the adults here that had no reason to see the foulness of the language I used.
Furthermore grandpa pointed out to me that a leader does not allow himself to be dragged into something of that nature.
Grandpa pointed out that I have to always take things with a grain of salt because this type of action is not honoring our ancestors and forefathers.I am obligated to follow grandpas wishes. He is a respected elder in our family, it is the right thing for me to do.
Again I appologize to all here.
T'a'a' iiyisi ahe'hee for understanding.
May the Great Spirit bless all here.
YA''AT'EEH!
IN LITTLE LESS THEN HALF HOUR EDWARD'S ENDORSES OBAMA IN MICHIGAN. MICHIGAN AND FLORIDA VOTE'S WILL BE SEATED IN AUGUST.
OBAMA WILL NOT ACCEPT HILLARY CLINTON ACCORDING TO PUNDITS. NC WIN TOO LITTLE TOO LATE.
OBAMA PICKS UP 4 MORE SUPERS TODAY.
Possible VP choices, Edward's and Richardson.
Pundits pointout to much bad blood has gone down between Obama an Hillary.
Kentucky and Puerto Rico will mean nothing in upcoming primary's.
I report only of news on tube. I support neither candidate.
It is sad things have turned out as are.
Even after seating delegates math call, Hillary will not make the grade. problems impending BIG TIME.
Peace to all here.

Announcing the State Blogger Corps
Posted by Aaron Myers on May 14, 2008
http://demconvention.com/announcing-the-state-blogger-corps

Months ago, we began the process of credentialing bloggers who cover state and local politics, as part of the DemConvention State Blogger Corps. More than 400 blogs applied for the program. And they’re incredible. Some blogs are the work of dedicated groups of activists, a few are full-time professional endeavors, and many others are the products of busy individuals blogging about local politics in their free time. Those selected to be part of our State Blogger Corps were announced today. And in every case, these bloggers have become experts on the political happenings in their states.

You’ll see a list below of the 55 blogs that will comprise the State Blogger Corps. They’ll be seated with their respective delegations at the Convention. These bloggers will have some of the best seats in the house and they’ll be the eyes and ears of local audiences online around the country. DNC Chairman Howard Dean recorded a message to introduce the program " so I’ll let him explain the rest.

Is one of your favorite blogs missing from the list? We had hundreds of great applicants and only a few spots. The Convention staff will work hard to be sure bloggers can cover the Convention from Denver or wherever they may be - with unprecedented access. And wait a few weeks. We’ll soon announce the Convention’s General Blogger Pool, an additional list of diverse blogs covering national politics, niche issues, and more state and local topics.

Congratulations to each blog selected for the State Blogger Corps. I’ll see you in Denver!

The DemConvention State Blogger Corps is listed below.

Hannity is spreading demonic fear of Obama to all America.
Now it is about the so called Hip Hop Pasture who is of the same mold as Rev. Wright and even much more dangerous because of Barack claiming his new pastor is a wonderful person.
I know deep down in my heart and soul that this is geered to promote more racial hatred, and people tend to take every word for being truth, warning of impending danger of America being taken over by supremacist Black bigots of the Maalik Shabaaz, Islam Nation and the Louis Farakan types.
I pray the Great Spirit Grandfather take control.
May your God bless you all.
Please I ask all to maintain civility. Do not fall prey to judgement impairment by non rational hate mongering.
We must all pray to the creator our land and her people are enlightened by true wisdom,Freedom and justice must prevail.
America must prevail as te true light of the Free World..

Howard Dean and the DNC are to blame for the controversy swirling on this website. While I appreciate his pointing out McCain's deficiencies I would much rather see him heal the wounds that he's created by alienating Florida and Michigan.

I believe they were wrong in bucking the party I also believe the party is wrong in spreading out the primaries. Each state should vote on the same day to prevent undue influence and avoid promoting favorites.

He needs to include EVERY state in the primary process including Florida and Michigan and their delegates. Focus on cleaning the democrats house up and let the voters focus on taking on John McCain.

In short ... DO YOUR DAMN JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last year the DNC told Florida and Michigan that if they moved their primaries up their delegates would not count in the primaries this year. It was in reaction to several states trying to leapfrog themselves into a better position to have greater impact on the election results.

Like it or not, the DNC made this statement before either state made their final decision. Knowing the potential ramifications each state defied the DNC and moved their primaries anyway. As a result the DNC had to make good on their word otherwise they would be viewed as toothless and the party would disintegrate into seperate entities and be no more.

Knowing that the delegates would not count this year Obama chose not to run in Michigan and neither campaigned as aggressively as they might otherwise have.

Having all the facts, anger should be directed at the DNC for following through or the States for putting themselves in the current position.

The fault for this predicament does not lie with any candidate but with the organizations that created the situation. You may be upset if you live in FL or MI but your anger is totally misdirected if it is aimed at a candidate.
Ya''at'eh! I greet all of great womenhood on this site, you really ROCK!!!

From the bottom of my heart I bid all here Happy Mother's Day. Grandpa also sends his well wishing, he awoke early today and is hoping to gather the strength to take grandma out to dinner. He already had a beautiful floral arrangement of long stemmed roses delivered to her with a box of chocolate.

I also wish Hillary Clinton a Happy Mother's Day. She is a mother first and a candidate second.
I would like to ask all Hillary supporters to send your well wishes to Hillary on this site. But before you do that pat yourselve's on the back because Dem Mothers are the best in the world. Call your Mom's and let them know how much you love them, Those of you who's Mother is no longer living I am sure her spirit is by your side, and to all the men here I ask give your wives a big hug because the reality is, a man is only as good as his better half, the faithful loyal exemplary woman at his side and mother of his chilldren. We would not be here were it not for women. Women Rock!
Regardless of which camp you are from, Hillary or Obama's. You are the Greatest Creation that ever graced our GREAT MOTHER EARTH, THANKS TO OUR COMMON FATHER CREATOR, THE GREAT SPIRIT GRANDFATHER.
BLESSINGS TO ALL MOTHER'S ON THIS YOUR DAY.
I do not know how to post photos on PB so I gave up the Idea of posting a Beautiful Montage Honoring all Democratic Mother's on this Joyous Day.
PEACE TO ALL HERE.

I am, not a supporter of either candidate, Both are the best we have, I am glad I am not in the position to take sides.
That the name is the Democratic Party. It is anything but. In a Democratic election the person with the most votes wins. The primaries have yet to be decided yet the party is divided.

I use the word party loosly as it really isn't a party it's two parties because there are two candidates. It is the Clinton Party and there is the Obama Party. It doesn't matter who gets the most votes in the primaries because it's really two different parties so both candidates can run as their own party.

There is one party though ... it's called the ME party. I'm in it for me and if my candidate happens to have less votes than the other than damn it I'll vote for MY candidate anyway.

This is the Putrid Party and FDR and JFK would be turning in their graves if they were here to witness the self destruction we bring to this site. It is a masochistic free for all that has Republicans laughing.

McCain will win in 2008, I'm certain of that. It is what the Republicans want and what the Putrid Party wants too. Congratulations on being an individual, the Republicans are a team.
does it take to screw in a lightbulb.

It'll never happen cause half of them will want to go clockwise and the other half counter clockwise.

There is no such thing as a democratic party. The republicans are going to cream us in November. I might as well write JFK in because he has a better chance than either Obama or Clinton. Republicans will at least vote for their democratically nominated candidate.
Can you answer a few honest questions.

Do you feel deep down that Obama has a secret Afro Centrist Agenda?

Do you keep your true feelings on the matter in silence for fear of branding as a RACIST?

The theology of Black Liberation that was made so notoriously promoted by Racist leadership from the Black community is a type of cancer that is tearing out the entrails of American Society, many from the Black Community have denounced it along with Obama, is there still any reason for you to fear?

I know there is much distrust from the Hispanic Community in regard to supporting Obama because of poor race relations between them and Blacks, also a large amount of Native Americans. The trend has been to take the gamble with a white woman, they have supported and will not drop. It is difficult for many to really understand this. The Hispanic Community will not abandon Hillary, and she is now gaining more and more support from Native America.

One of the factors is the threat of violence from characters like Sharpton, and racists like Farakan, and the Maalik Shabaaz's of the Afro American respected community, whose contributions caused more division and distrust which is negative foir Obama,
The comments about Micheal's pride do not help much either nor the guilt by association.

Do you feel the same?

Peace

Who runs the country?
Who elects the candidate's?
Makes you think and question what the Head Honcho of the Times must be smoking, does it not?
I find it offensive that what was considered by many a prestigious New's Source like the TIMES MAGAZINE would stoop so low down the gutter to intentionally decieve American voters.
Boycott the Times Magazine.
The voters elect candidates, not Media.
If they had done the same for Hillary, they would still not be Wright, Even if they were Wright, which they are not.
The ayers around the Times Dropping that type of Bomb on the public stinks of foul smoke that causes gagging.
Do you think they are Wright in doing such a foul thing?
Peace Little Dine'
The delegate numbers, Obama 1850 Clinton 1696. Less than 200 between them. 154 pledge delegates to be exact.
Ah sorry Obama it takes 2,025 to win the nomination and you won't have that number going into the convention. So Obama pundits and sages can trash talk and whine all they want...boo hoo boo hoo. Senator Clinton is going all the way to the convention. Sorry NBC boys, Sister Hillary is not taking any baloney BS from you any time soon, and either am I.
