Trump Caps Off His Birthday with a Party for Himself as He Tells Americans He Doesn’t Care About Their Economic Struggles

To celebrate his 80th birthday, Donald Trump is throwing himself a $60 million UFC fight on the White House lawn as he tells Americans that he doesn’t care about their financial struggles.

Trump has spent his second term in office spending taxpayer dollars on his vanity projects like his ballroom, gilding statues in D.C., and repainting the reflecting pool — all while doing nothing to fulfill his promise to lower prices on Day One. Trump has told Americans what he really thinks about their concerns, admitting he doesn’t think about Americans’ financial situations “even a little bit.”

As Trump, JD Vance, and the rest of the administration continue their unpopular war with Iran and gas prices remain above $4 per gallon for the third consecutive month, the birthday boy’s message to Americans is that it’s “not a big price to pay” as he admits he doesn’t “worry” about high gas prices and declares “I love the inflation.”

In response, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

“Donald Trump’s callous disregard for the pain he’s causing working families while he throws himself lavish birthday parties is the ultimate betrayal. Because of Trump, Americans are paying more for less, taking out loans to pay for higher healthcare costs, and footing the bill for his unpopular war that he can’t find a way to end — and  he’s too busy rubbing elbows with the ultra-wealthy elite and his yes-men in the White House to care. Trump has all the wrong priorities — and Americans will remember in November.”

REMINDER: There’s always something in it for Trump. Trump purchased tens of thousands of dollars worth of stock in UFC’s parent company, TKO Holding Group, as he was promoting the fight and just two weeks after the White House fights were announced.

It’s no wonder Trump’s approval ratings are in the gutter. A new poll this week found 70% of Americans disapprove of Trump’s handling of the cost of living, while another poll showed two-thirds of voters blame his policies for higher prices.
