It is disgraceful that minimum wage was bundled in with the Iraq funding bill! This is NOT what the 2006 election was about. If longstanding Democrats are distraught over this manuever, stop and think what the vast majority of our fellow citizens are feeling -- disgusted, turned off and tuned out -- believing that their government has (here comes a new phrase) resorted to "politics as usual". As such, I repeat my support for a Presidential candidate who publicly opposed the Iraq war in 2002! Mike Gravel -- A Maverick on a Mission for America.
