barack obama acknowledges that he needs to work harder to reach out to working-class voters. forgive me, but if you want to garner the attention of people who don't know enough about you, wouldn't a debate be the ideal place? an unmoderated exchange of views and positions would be the perfect forum for obama to explain who he is and what his plans are for the working class. so why resist? it's a guaranteed audience of about ten million, give or take. probably more, given a new format. so why not, senator obama? why not?
