Early voters and absentee ballots in Florida will be nearly a million by the time polls open tomorrow.GOP slightly more than us,about 470k for Repubs and 400k+ for Dems....Hillary polling about 20 points ahead of Obama in Florida...Although the sunshine state is losing all its delegates due to early primary, because of the size of the vote and the importance of the state it is believed they will be reinstated by the convention...
The co chair of Hillarys national campaign, former Indiana Governor and current Senator Evan Bayh is often talked about as a Hillary Vice Presidential candidate.Bayhs father Birch Bayh was with Ted in the famous plane crash in the sixties and pulled Ted out of the wreck which left Ted with back problems he still suffers with. Birch Bayh was also a presidential candidate ,he lost the nomination to Jimmy Carter in 76....
Three of my Political Heroes Kids are endorsing Hillary, breaking with Uncle Ted,Caroline and Patrick!!!Katherine Kennedy Townsend,RFK JR,and Kerry Kennedy have endorsed Hillary! If I remember correctly Townsend is a former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland,RFK JR is well known as the foremost environmental attorney in the nation, and Kerry I believe was the youngest of Bobbys 11 children, one with a quieter profile than some of the clan...
I see this rift rearing its ugly head!As a loyal supporter of Howard Dean and the Democracy bonds program, and a big fan of Harold Ford ,Jim Carville and the Clintons, and The New Democrats like the late Paul Tsongas,I hope after this contest everybody remembers party unity...the DLC fields great candidates,The DNC wins elections...we win in 08 with 50 state strategy, every ward ,every precinct every county!!
OK Deval Patrick ,John Kerry,Ted Kennedy,Caroline Kennedy, all big names here in Mass are all publicly endorsing Obama...I am a supporter of all three officials mentioned above and Caroline walks on water as well, but I can tell you that these endorsements are not going to hurt Hillary ...Outside of the College populations around Boston,Hillary is enjoying strong and enthusiastic support from all segments of the population, especially ADULTS WHO ACTUALLY CAN VOTE,the Elderly ,Women,Blacks,Spanish ,Democrats ,and voters who don't like Kerry,Kennedy, and Patrick, many of whom live in my district .Mind you I am a Kennedy, Kerry ,Patrick loyalist, devotee even, but you have to beat the champ and I think Hillary is the best candidate and the one to beat come November...
As hyped up as the South Carolina results are,I really don't see anything surprising here.A large youth vote for Obama, they Don't show up in the polls because they have cellphones blah blah blah,he captured 80 percent of the black vote in a Republican State, where 55 percent of the Democratic vote is black ,he got 20 percent of the white vote which probably overlaps with the youth vote...I hav'nt seen anything on this but I think Edwards took some of the womens vote from Hillary.Otherwise she was very strong with the elderly vote, something I am seeing here in Massachusetts.I predict a very good day for Hillary on February 5th,I know its looking good around here in spite of the fact that some of my favorite people have endorsed Obama...
Just look back over the last twenty years there has never been a single month with deflation, and millions of Americans do not make a penny more in wages really.
Literally,on January 13th 1921,Warren G Harding resigned as a Republican Senator from Ohio ,and was Innaugurated President in March(don't ask ,I don't know why it wasn't January). He later died in office near the end of his term while on a tour of the west coast.87 years later HowieJames would find this interesting and post it on partybuilder. He would also make it a recurring theme on his blog since anything that starts with Four Score and Seven Years ago sounds like something Conan Obrien would use as a skit on his show...
Thank's everyone for a WONDERFUL Birthday!!! If I hear the words "hope" or "change" one more freaking time. The words started out innocently enough as inspirational messages from Edwards and Obama....but now we've got Clinton, let alone ROMNEY and HUCKABEE joining the band wagon? I declare a BAN on the use of these words by all candidates and their supporters! The only change I hope to hear about is the "change in my pocket goin' jing-a-ling-a-ling..."
Edwards - Obama - Clinton - Who has the working people's best interests? Who is the best speech-maker? Who has the most experience? Will it really matter in the history books in 50 years?
IMHO when it comes down to it, ALL THREE would be agents of incredible, history-making change for America.

I was watching CNN-- Mike Huckabee was campaigning in an Iowa diner. There was a couple eating their breakfast at the counter. Mike says to this couple. "Who's vote is the most influential--who's vote matters most?" The husband points to his wife... Huckabee states. "An honest man... You have no future in politics, Bill... laughs.."
I know he was trying to make a funny... I am NOT laughing... Hey Mike I DO want an honest man/woman as my president!!! I know we have gotten use to having NO honesty or integrity in the Oval Office-- this has become the "norm" BUT that needs to CHANGE!!!!
