"A former DLC co-chair, Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton, implemented a "Southern strategy" of his own to win over white conservatives in his 1992 bid for the White House and in his re-election. Clinton's tactics included denouncing the rap artist Sistah Souljah at an event sponsored by Jesse Jackson; presiding over the execution of mentally disabled Black man, Ricky Ray Rector; and staging a photo op at a Georgia penitentiary work gang of hundreds of Black men. Once in office, he presided over "anti-crime" legislation that left more African American men in prison than in college. He also collaborated with the Republican Congress to abolish the federal welfare system, something Ronald Reagan could never have gotten away with. At the same time, however, Clinton cultivated allies in the Black political establishment, which was ever more distant from the struggles that had propelled it to prominance."

Are Gay marriage and Gay unions a matter of choice? State and federal legislators and courts believe so. A proposal to amend the Pennsylvania Consttution to ban gay marriages and civil unions recieved approval from a Senate committee as supporters seek to revive an efort that stalled in 2006. The following is an analysis of the Bush Administration and its deficit spending as of June 2003. I am looking for more recent information. In the meantime, I have a question. This is in response to a post today by Vidya. Since writer Andrew Walden was cited I have my own article by Walden to share. I have said before that when the Clinton's make allegations concerning Obama which concern possible corruption that they seem to have some of the same ties. I have a concern with how much of the information concerning Obama comes from conservative websites and right-wing pundits, but this doesnt seem to bother Clinton supporters who use this information for political convenience only to dismiss the same source when this information gets turned back around. Well, here we go again.

As you read past the usual Muslim/Rezko connections, there is something here that Clinton supporters are ignoring or not mentioning and this has to do with former Hawaii Governor John Waihee and Bill Clinton's money backers in his 1992 bid for the White House.
