The Gloves are OFF!!!

I've watched all the RNC attack dogs speak this evening during the Republican Convention. After Sarah Palin's speech energizing their base with vicious attacks on Barack Obama, the smear and several factual inacuracies have been duly noted. 'Sarah the Barracuda' as she was known in high school, has bitten us all and this deed will not be forgotten!

Sarah Palin was FOR the 'Bridge to Nowhere' before Congress told her state, Alaska would have to pay for the project. As Mayor, Sarah Palin hired a consultant to bring earmarks to her city when she's publicly claimed to be against earmarks. Sara Palin has not even traveled outside the US until last year and she managed to leave office with the city of Wasilla in debt (perhaps better spoken of as an 8,000-10,000 person town rather than city). I've even heard she attempted to fire a librarian who refused to ban some books at the library not to mention the current 'trooper gate' scandal. And not to mention, I haven't even touched on her far right Creationist views including no sex education whatsoever in the class room other than abstinence. It resulted in her 17 year old having a child out of wedlock so like it or not it's news.

What we as Democrats truly can benefit from is to get Sarah Palin in front of a camera speaking her true views in an unscripted atmosphere. She was scheduled to appear on Larry King Live but the McCain campaign canceled her appearance for fear of this very thing.

The time has come to step into the ring. There is no room for error. We must keep our attacks to arguments that make sense to swing voters, independents and Republicans on the fence. I'd like you to remember one thing and that's McCain and Palin = MP and that spells Military Police which is not good for my America!

Watch the GOP Women Talk About Sarah Palin

If you notice, every woman at the GOP convention that is singing the praises of Sarah Palin......of what I have seen EVERY ONE OF THEM......is MANY MORE TIMES MORE QUALIFIED THAN THE WOMAN THEY ARE TRYING TO SHOVE DOWN AMERICA'S THROAT!!

And yet....THEY were looked over for the runner-up Miss Alaska 1982!!

This goes so far beyond bizarre.............

Why Sarah Palin Is The Perfect GOP VP Selection

It would seem to me, that John McCain couldn't have found a running mate better suited for a GOP ticket, than Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska.
First, if it turns out that her youngest child is actually her daughter's.....then she is a LIAR.

Second, as someone who is an advocate for 'abstainence only' sex education and still believes that it works after her own daughter has been pregnant out of wedlock at LEAST once, if not twice....then she is a HYPOCRITE.

Third, being the type of VP nominee that scares the beejeesus out of people who contemplate her one heartbeat away from being the most powerful person on Earth.....following the likes of Dick Cheney, Dan Quayle and Spiro Agnew....she MEASURES UP.

And fourth, being a Republican politician who is under investigation for ABUSE OF POWER.....hell, she is just another "The Constitution and the laws don't apply to me" REPUBLICAN!!

Short of Ann Coulter......SHE IS THE PERFECT FIT!!

We Cannot Drop Our Guard!!

It would seem, as I have written earlier, that the polls are incorrect due to under-polling of the new voting blocks that Barack Obama has brought to the table.

It would also seem that the Republicans are doing their best to continue George W. Bush's direction...for their party......straight off the cliff!

We have seen that McCain having ONE meeting and ONE phone call with the runner-up for Miss Alaska 1982 wasn't anymore telling than Bush's first meeting with Putin when he "looked into eyes and saw deep into his soul" and KNEW that he could trust him!!

A new out-of-wedlock pregnancy in this right-wing Christian, let-US-tell-you-how-to-live-your-life Republican family, along with a good chance it wasn't the first one, since evidence points to the youngest Palin child, may have been the daughter's anyway might be helping them completely devolve into the chaos that Bush/Cheney pictured for the GOP nearly 8 years ago. Throw in the investigation of Ms. Palin in Alaska, and the word now that her husband had a DUI arrest several years ago, and you would think that we could just WALTZ Barack and Michelle right into the front door of the White House.

But, fellow Democrats, as I have been saying for MONTHS now....the ONLY way we can lose this election is to BEAT OURSELVES!!! And we MUST NOT sit on our laurels and allow the next Bush presidency to become reality and completely destroy what is left of our Constitution!!

We cannot drop our guard, and get soft on the issues, the phone calls, the door knocking or the donations. And for SURE we cannot let up on the blogging, because sometimes it is the only place where one can ever find the complete truth!!

Barack and Joe NEED OUR HELP, no matter HOW much the GOP'ers want to rock us to sleep by completely self-destructing.

I want this country back on the right track, and it can only happen if WE MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!

How does that sound??

A Time for Planning and Prayer

During Gustav and possibly as Hannah follows we're at a Crossroads. How do our candidates look Presidential while not appearing to politicize the situation? How do we as not only Democrats but as Americans help those in need during this time? How do we as Democrats counter the RNC and the tone of their convention? Our future as a nation is in peril under a McCain-Palin ticket. I pray for the safety of all Americans and for our candidates to be given wisdom to make the right decisions during these trying times. I'll be gathering my attack material and holding it close to the vest till the storm passes. God bless the USA!

How we win; The Tale of the Hare and the Tortoise

After witnessing an incredible convention we must now retire to the War Room and strategize! The RNC know that their convention couldn't come close so McCain will probably give his acceptance speech from the gulf coast region to appear Presidential. We must counteract the effects... If Barack Obama rolls up his sleeves and arrives in the region it might help but seeing a mulitude of Obama T-shirt wearing volunteers pitching in feeding those in the path of the storm and rebuilding the area is our best offense and our defense. Obama contributing personal funds could steal some RNC thunder as well. Now is the time to think smart and react swiftly and decisively.

We must use our response to their convention to praise their concern for the country and more so our party's action during this disaster. We must appear as the party of action and they of talk. The convention itself is a moot point.

McCain's age must be addressed indirectly and not by the campaign itself. We need to come out with both barrels blazing yet utilizing a silencer. Sara Palin's extreme right wing views must be addressed indirectly a as well and not by the campaign itself.

Remember the hare is quick and experienced, exuding confidence. It is the tortoise though that takes the time to think through the task at hand, moves forward continually, exudes patience and inner calm. Displaying a keen sense of awareness, it is he who wins the race.

Can We Really Trust These Poll Numbers?

First and foremost. All of my prayers and good thoughts are going out to all of the people on the Gulf Coast. God be with them in these trying and dangerous times.

Now, I keep seeing online and on TV about how 'close' this election is, according to the polls. But these polls have to be faulty.

Polls have there base in previous 'models'. How the country trended in past elections is taken into consideration, and then they build from there.

Not included in these 'models' is the large number of young people that Barack Obama brought into our primaries for the first time, just as it doesn't include the extremely large increase, during our primaries, in the number of African-American voters who turned out.

Both of these groups together combine to create a large hole within the numbers that the poll companies continue to release. I honestly believe they are HEAVILY skewed.

I really have to think that when I see John McCain's choice for a running mate. His campaign KNOWS that putting a woman on the ticket, that has NO tolerance for reproductive rights of women and loves to be photographed with assault rifles, will NOT bring many, if any, Hillary Clinton supporters to their cause.

The Palin choice is nothing short of minimizing the down-ballot losses in November. It was made to shore up the Republican base. The right-wing fanatics who think the Constitution is just an irritating little document on display at the National Archives! Otherwise, they would have put someone up for nomination that actually has at least SOME credible and relevent experience to bring to the job.

The idea of putting an empty resume on the ballot otherwise makes no sense at all.

And I believe it is because that their 'internal' polls are telling the GOP that McCain is a lost cause, so salvage whatever you can. George W. Bush has successfully put his party on the ledge of complete self-destruction and he has done it nearly single-handedly.

And I also believe that the Obama campaign is seeing the same things.

In other words, (as if anybody really cares, of course), I believe that this campaign is nowhere NEAR close. Polls looked really close in 1980, but the night before the election, President Jimmy Carter shed tears, while on Air Force One, when told by his people that there was NO way that they could win the election.

And as I remember.....sadly for sure......it turned out a Ronald Reagan landslide!

Michelle's First Date

This vignette touched my heart, because it has such relevant symbolism.

In the clips last night, Michelle Obama spoke of finally giving in to Barack's request for a date. She had been refusing his advances because she was very proper in the top law firm of Sidley & Austin, where she was a full fledged attorney and Barack was just a summer intern. Barack surprised Michelle when he took her, not to a fancy restaurant, but to a church basement where he gave a speech to steelworkers who were laid off when the local steel mill closed.

Michelle said Barack riveted everyone in the basement with a magnificent speech about how America actually was, and how America should be.

The clip showed a picture of the burly white steelworkers raptly listening to the young African American orator, demonstrating that the races were cooperating even back then.

I grew up in the same neighborhood as Michelle Robinson Obama, actually in between her house and Rev. Wright's church. I personally knew many of the steelworkers who forever lost high paying jobs to the slave labor wages of Indian and Chinese steelmills, and feel quite strongly about fair trade instead of free trade.

Those hard working men never, ever got jobs with pay remotely near what they earned in the mill, for very hard work.

Micehlle felt the same thing I did, and said that speech in the church basement made it all over, the end! She was in love with Barack.

A symbolic lesson for us all, united.

Proud To Be A Democrat

While I shall continue to post about how to improve our
Democtratic party and uplift the issues of our candidates, my heart burst with pride as I watched our great Democratic Party make history as the first major party to nominate an African American for President of the United States of America.

On the Fourth of July, 2007, I signed the papers to register as a Democrat and abandoned my life long membership in the Republican Party. What a great day!

May God Bless America, and God Bless our Democratic Party!

What WILL The Republicans Do?

WHAT A CONVENTION!! The DNC and the Obama campaign set the bar SO high for ALL future conventions.....but that isn't my point right now.

The Republicans, next week, will have such an impossible task, as to try to keep the American people from going to sleep or just change the channel. They can talk about 'celebrities' all they want, but our speakers ARE not just 'celebrities'.....hell, they are SUPERSTARS!!!

Michelle Obama? Teddy Kennedy? Hillary Clinton? Al Gore? The 'GOP' which has allowed itself to be obliterated by George W. Bush, have NOTHING like these people.

President Bill Clinton?....ROCK STAR!! And NOW...Barack Obama? The NEXT President of the United States? EVER BIT THE ROCK STAR, himself!!!

Now, the GOP can take their band of misfits to the convention, and try to not be completely overshadowed by the Democrats who KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK!

Picture this. After 80,000+ people in Mile High Stadium, along with what I am sure will be some HUGE numbers of Americans watching Senator Obama's acceptance speech....a complete SEA of AMERICANS in high definition, the Republicans now get to go to their venue and try to make Barack look like some 'celebrity'. But this is not possible any longer. Their little crowds inside with TV cameras, will show so many of the differences between, not only the two conventions, but in depth, compassion, and make America actually see who the REAL 'ELITESTS' are!

And that crowd may even be smaller if they can't drag a bunch of their male delegates out of the men's room at the airport......imagine all that FOOT TAPPING..........

CONGRATULATIONS DEMOCRATS!!!!

OBAMA/BIDEN '08!!!!!!!

Who Is Crazy?

Who is crazy?

Comments on previous posts have stooped to the politics of personal destruction, ad hominem attacks, and calling people "crazy."

Did you know that shortly after Frank filed with the FEC there was a staff post, since deleted, on Daily Kos, asking if Kos should support Frank instead of Obama? So the Kos staff was taking him seriously.

Tell me, who is crazy?

Frank Lynch is creating a new university http://www.fluni.com to train teachers of science, math, medicine and engineering to help treat our national shortage of science teachers and had the audacity to name the university after his father, who died at home in his arms.

Obviously Lynch is crazy, a loon, an egomanic and should be chased out of town. It goes against the principles of the Democratic Party to advance education and to deal with the teacher shortage. Drive Lynch away from posting, he is dangerous. And he is taking on the monumental, back breaking tsask of creating a non-profit, charitable university, and serving without compensation? What a jerk!

Frank Lynch is creating a public charity devoted to abused children and abused women and to fighting poverty inside of America as opposed to Clinton's foundation which is mostly outside the USA. http://franklynchfoundation.org also named after his deceased father.

Lynch is insane, What a narcissist. Anybody who wants to fight poverty inside America is a Nazi. Shout him down, ban him, ridicule him. And he wants to help abused children and save them from the broken foster care system? He can't possible be a true Democrat.

Lynch is writing books and creating a publishing company to raise money for his charities to help education and fight poverty in America. Criminal! UnAmerican. Anti-Democrat. No Democrat Presidential candidate ever wrote a book? Boo! Go away Frank. It is illegal to write a book.

Frank filed to run for president even though he knew the Democratic Party insiders would not let him on the ballots. Why? As a means of getting the other Presidential candidates to copy the ideas he posted on http://www.franklynch.org and use them in their previously vacant websites previously filled with only empty rhetoric from Jimmy Carter's 1976 campaign, and we know Carter's legacy.

Gee Frank, you reminded Hillary and goaded Barack into helping college students and into adopting Universal Healthcare. Frank, you really are a tin hat wacko loon. Everybody knows that Hillary and Barack adopted universal healthcare AFTER you publicized it and nagged the Chairpersons of all 50 state party organizations about it. What a maroone.

And by doing so, Frank Lynch changed America. What a terrible person! Pushing for universal healthcare and helping college students. Lock him in jail.

And Frank Lynch filed to run for President without ever serving as a legislator.

Now this is a big one. Frank Lynch is going to propose a Constitutional Amenment to forbid anyone who has ever been a US Senator or Representative, or ever graduated from law school, from running for President.

No lawyer ever SUCCESSFULLY managed anything of substance in the entire history of America. No many of you will cite lawyers who were the head of all sorts of things. Yes, ABraham Lincoln, my geatest personal hero, was a lawyer, but he never went to law school. Ha! Try to focus. No lawyer evere SUCCESSFULLY managed anything of substance.

Chew on that! First it is a really big crime how so many Senators do nothing about carrying out their duties to the taxpayers for two whole years while they abandon the Senate to run for President.

Second, the Presidency is EXECUTIVE. Senators and Representatives do nothing but work to get re-elected and collect campaign donations by holding hearing after hearing after hearing after hearing to extort contributions from the victims of their hearings.

Third, have you every watched CSPAN? None of those bums should ever be allowed to be President.

Frank Lynch has expert experience in the areas that determine America's future: science, national security, finance/economics, and running a business. See http://www.franklynch.name

In fact, compared to the irrelevant experience of all the other candidates, Lynch is OVERQUALIFIED

Frank Lynch at age 18 dropped out of college because he thought his professors were stupid. At age 19 he was back as a National Science Foundation researcher studying the effects of early experience on adult biochemical and hormonal reactions to stress.

Since stress is involved in weapons systems, he was recruited as a national security consultant, first on selection of advanced weapons systems, then intellegence, and he co-authored a study that predicted the current MidEast situation, in detail, with 100 percent accuracy, 40 years ago! Current candidates don't even understand the MidEast today, let alone see the future.

He then spent 10 years as a Corporate Finance Officer on Wall Street, followed by creating a new business from scratch, building it up into a publicly traded company, and selling it to a larger company.

In contrast, both Obama and McCain state they do not understand business, finance or the economy.

No other Presidential candidate has these comprehensive, totally relevant, qualifications to deal with the problems facing America today.

Maybe Howard Dean erred by keeping Frank Lynch off the primary ballots? Would it not be interesting if the voters had had the chance to debate this?

Idealism, Free Speech and Innovation

Are these blogs contaminated by professional paid assasins in the employ of funded campaigns?

In July 2007 I read every word of every website of all the Democrat and Republican Presidential candidates.

Then I wrote my Top Ten List and the http://www.franklynch.org website including only ideas that were not on any Democratic or Republican Presidential candidate website at that date, the sole exception being that Kucinich had the same elegant version of single payer healthcare.

Clinton had dropped universal healthcare after the Republicans threatened to put her in jail for unauthorized expenditure of taxpayer funds in 1993. She never again sponsored unversal healthcare until after I embarassed her on September 11, 2007. On that date she was in my neighbordhood doing a "not really campaigning" fundraiser in which her only words on healthcare were cheaper drugs for seniors and more healthcare for children, less than truly revolutionary concepts.

At the same time a mile down the same street the ABC station televised me campaigning for universal healthcare. Since her staff scans television news wherever she appears, they viewed the five televised spots of me pushing unversal healthcare when she did not.

Shortly AFTER that embarassment, she REMEMBERED that she used to support it. She researched me so thoroughly that she found out my mother belonged to an HMO named "America's Health Choice" and Clinton adopted the name of my mother's HMO for her universal healthcare plan.

As that website says, I filed for President with the FEC because I was disgusted that Hillary's and Obama's websites at July 2007 had almost no specific steps on how to achieve change, even though he had been campaigning for seven months and had spent more than a hundred million, including millions on consultants and writers to flesh out and put substance to his rhetoric.

Silly me, I thought that if someone were to run for President, they should have their ideas fleshed out with specific plans BEFORE starting a campaign, otherwise why run? That is not a rhetorical question. I think the reason to run for President is because you have specific ideas. If your initial, starting Presidential website lacks specific steps you intend to implement, why bother running?. Much worse is if after running for seven months, there is no excuse for not having specific, concrete actual steps, except if you have no specific, concrete ideas?

Isn't the purpose of running for change to have specific changes written down? All of the Democratic candidates were insider Senators or Congressmen (if Obama was an outsider, how come he lived off the taxpayers for the last ten years? Ha!) I knew there was no way the Party machine would let a true outsider like me into the debates or on the ballots, so I used faxes and certified mail to the State Party Chairpersons, and within 48 hours, the elements of my Top Ten List and website began appearing on the DNC website and on Hillary's and Obama's website. It is an incontrovertible fact that at July 20, 2007, neither Hillary nor Barack had Universal Healthcare, plug-in electric cars, windfarms, talking to our enemies, Energy Independence, Free College or College Tuition Assistance, or the phrase "Bold New Ideas" on their websites. How short memories are!

Sure, if you Google any idea you will find many hits, but none of the ideas on my Presidential website were on Hillary's or Obama's websites at July 2007, and I did in fact succeed in inserting them into the current Presidential campaign and defined the major issues of this campaign.

And by doing so I changed America!

What amazes me is the vicious antagonism of this Democratic website toward a Democrat because he contributed to defining the issues and expanded the debate.

Perhaps Fox News may have something when they claim that we Dems really suppress free speech and ideological expansion while claiming the opposite?

You and Howard Dean have proven to me that our Party is the old establishment, and is highly resistant to true change. We won the 2006 elections to bring change, but tell me please, why are Congressional approval ratings so low after our 2006 victory?

I urge everyone to embrace outsiders who publicize ideas of change, instead of responding with pettiness and calling people "crazy." First, that is immature. And Second, That is what Hitler's Brown Shirts did.

Obama's Plagarism is Getting Excessive

When Obama appeared after Joe Biden's speech tonight, Obama said he was going to the Mile High Stadium tomorrow because he needed room for more people because "In America, ordinary people do extraordinary things."

Now, Obama did not have universal healthcare until I promoted it. Same for plug-in electric cars, energy independence, windfarms, and talking with our enemies. I enjoyed his copying my ideas because that is why I ran for President:

In July of last year Obama and the other candidates had very little specifics, so I filed for President with the FEC and deluged all the State Party Chairs with my Top Ten List as a means of defining the national issues for the 2008 campaign to uplift the nation. And I was wildly successful. More than half of Obama's issues today were nowhere to be found in his pre-July 2007 speeches and websites until he copied from http://www.franklynch.org only after I posted them in July 2007, had them broadcast on television and sent them to the 50 State Party Chairs.

In fact, during the last primary debate before Christmas 2007 I actually rolled off the couch with laughter as Clinton and Obama tossed verbatim quotes from my website back and forth during their phony debate.

But I object to Obama's plagarism of my line "America, where ordinary people do extraordinary things everyday" because that was really a trademark identifying the theme of all of my websites, charities, and publications.

Obama, either stop plagarizing from the 180 pages of my five websites, or have the decency and honesty to preface or follow your quotes from me with an acknowledgement such as "as the Futurist Frank Lynch says . . . "

Thank you for your courtesy, Barack

Convention Highlights

Source: The Obama Campaign Website

Senator Hillary Clinton Addresses the Democratic National Convention

Senator Hillary Clinton Addresses the Democratic National ConventionWednesday, August 27, 2008 at 12:24 AM

"Barack Obama is my candidate. And he must be our President." - Hillary Clinton

Senator Hillary Clinton took to the podium tonight and delivered a resounding speech to the assembled delegates and to Americans across the nation. As one of the most groundbreaking candidates ever to run for the Presidency, Senator Clinton has inspired millions of women and men with her unyielding commitment to the causes that we all care so deeply about. And tonight, she left no doubt about what we all must do to face the challenges ahead of us: unite behind Barack Obama and present a fully unified Democratic Party to the country and the world.

Senator Clinton's speech was a stirring reminder that presidential campaigns are not about a single person, but about the power of what people can do when they come together to unite for change:

I want you to ask yourselves: Were you in this campaign just for me? Or were you in it for that young Marine and others like him? Were you in it for that mom struggling with cancer while raising her kids? Were you in it for that boy and his mom surviving on the minimum wage? Were you in it for all the people in this country who feel invisible?

It really was an incredible moment for our party and for America. If you missed it, check out this video of her address:

Michelle at LGBT Caucus MeetingMichelle at LGBT Caucus MeetingTuesday, August 26, 2008 at 11:45 PMThis afternoon Michelle dropped by the LGBT caucus meeting in Denver. Building on what she shared last night, Michelle spoke about Barack's vision for the world as it should be, focusing on themes of equality and justice.

Barack believes that if we come together, and work together, we can build the world as it should be.

In the world as it should be:

We work together to repeal laws like DOMA and Don't Ask Don't Tell, and we oppose divisive constitutional amendments that would strip civil rights and benefits away from LGBT Americans--because discrimination has no place in a nation founded on the promise of equality.

Anyone willing to put in an honest day's work can make a good living and support their family--and employers are held accountable for discrimination against LGBT Americans.

The federal government fully protects all of us--including LGBT Americans--against hate crimes.

In the world as it should be, we recognize that equality in relationship, family, and adoption rights isn't an abstract principle, but goes directly to whether all Americans can lead lives of dignity and freedom.

Watch a clip from Michelle's remarks at the LGBT caucus meeting below:

Joe Biden at the Denver Economic Roundtable: "This is not something that is beyond our reach"Joe Biden at the Denver Economic Roundtable: "This is not something that is beyond our reach"Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 11:32 PM
Joe Biden made his first campaign appearance as the Democratic vice presidential nominee earlier today, joining Michelle Obama, Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano, Washington Governor Christine Gregoire, and Delaware Governor Ruth Ann Minner at an Economic Roundtable. Biden talked directly and bluntly about issues like the Supreme Court, taxes and health care, explaining:

My dad used to have an expression. He'd say 'Don't tell me what you value, show me your budget and I will tell you what you value.' ... This is not something that is beyond our reach. It's all about what your priorities are.

Mark Warner: Race for the FutureMark Warner: Race for the FutureTuesday, August 26, 2008 at 10:30 PM
You know, I spent 20 years in business. If you ran a company whose only strategy was to tear down the competition, it wouldn't last long. So why is this wisdom so hard to find in Washington? I know we're at the Democratic Convention, but if an idea works, it really doesn't matter if it has an "R" or "D" next to it. Because this election isn't about liberal versus conservative. It's not about left versus right. It's about the future versus the past.

Mark Warner, the former governor of Virginia and 2008 Democratic nominee for the United States Senate, delivered the keynote address tonight, the second night of the Democratic National Convention.

Warner knows a thing or two about change. As he shared in his speech, during his tenure as governor of Virginia, Warner inherited a dire state budget shortfall. Warner worked with the heavily Republican legislature to close the budget gap. Under his leadership, Virginia was named the best-managed states in the nation. The state made record investments in education, innovation, and job training and got 98 percent of Virginia children who were eligible enrolled in the children's health care program.

Warner shares Barack's vision for change and commitment to working together to solve the problems we face. Check out pictures from Warner's speech below:
Scenes from the Convention Floor

Finally! The Convention is Here!!

I can only wish that I was joining those of you that are delegates in Denver. However, I will be taking my usual place, in front of my TV, as I have since I was 5 years old.

This is one that I will feel some melancholy about, though, as it is SO MONUMENTAL and of such HISTORICAL significance and even more than the first Clinton convention, I wish my Daddy was here to watch it on my 52" High Definition television with me. He was an old fashion Democrat, but I believe that he would have evolved so much, had he lived past 1989. And not only would he have been a Clinton Democrat like me, but he would have been even more pissed about the Lewinski mess.....and able to get past it. He would be excited about Obama, after he would have voted for Hillary in the primary.

I am hoping for as much party unity as we can get in the Mile High City, because that is what Daddy always wished for, and the thing that he preached to me my entire life. He pointed out how the loss of it turned into the chaos of the 1968 convention. We also originally thought the 1972 convention was caused by the same thing. But later we were both convinced that it was the will of the criminal organization, known as the Nixon Administration, that successfully infiltrated our ranks in a successful effort to determine which Democrat that they wanted to run against, that caused that mess.

My biggest concern is the idea by PUMA and others that are willing to throw the baby out with the bathwater, and vote for John McCain. In their zeal to "fix the party" in hopes that in 4 years Hillary can come along and beat McCain, they continue to ignor just how bad just 4 years of a McCain Administration could be!

They are not concerned about one or two more right-wing radicals being named to the Supreme Court. This would affect SCOTUS and the national judiciary for at least a generation, and there would be NO FIX that Hillary would have in 4 years.

They ignore how many more of our kids they will be sacrificing to an occupation of Iraq, if McCain is allowed to put his open ended Iraq policy into practice. Even though Hillary COULD fix that, how many more have to die to make a political point? That is a Republican mindset, not anything that the Democratic Party has ever supported.

And what could be worse, they ingore the fact that John McCain would be 72 when he is sworn-in to office, and there is a good chance the pressure of the job might keep him from even completing a term. That said, whatever right wing neo-con that he has to pick to shore up the religious fanatics on the fringe required to be elected, even WITH the help of disgruntled Dems. A young Republican that would have a GREAT chance of re-election in 4 years, whether Hillary runs or NOT!

I love Hillary! I am a Clinton Democrat and proud of it! But I am a Democrat, first and foremost. More importantly, this election cycle is......I support the only party that can KEEP America from having to endure 4 more years of this national nightmare. For THAT purpose, call us Democrats, anti-Republicans, Bush haters but maybe the best moniker to hang on us would be....AMERICA LOVERS!

But as usual.....that's just me........

HAVE FUN AT THE CONVENTION, and occassionally, wave at this old Texas fart when the TV camera passes by! (Don't concern yourself if it is a FOX cam.....I wouldn't see it anyway...LOL).
