DNC WILL LOSE FL in the General
About the Author
The Democrats will lose the general election because the DNC has lost touch with its party members. And I'm afraid the Superdelegates are soon to make the same mistake as the DNC's Rules and Bylaws Committee.

I wish i could give to the Hillary Clinton Campaign. But i have no money left. these last eight years have ruined my family. slowly but surely, international relations worsened with the US and my family's business lost most of its clients and soon, its revenue. we have been living off of the savings my mother set away for retirement. now that is gone. then i had the misfortune of getting sick. which basically bankrupted us. and i HAD insurance at the time. anyway, i want her to keep fighting for me, even if i cant help her financially. i hope that somehow, the superdelegates can get it through their thick brains that America wants Hillary as president. over and over, all of the major swing states have gone for Hillary. Obama isnt fooling anyone. he may give a good speech, but he is horrible in the debates--that's why he doesn't give them anymore. he comes out looking the inexperienced politician he is. and he is extremely out of touch if he thinks America thinks that he is the only person in washington that wants to help people. or at least that is the image he is trying to create for himself. i actually bought into it--until i watched him in the debates. that is when i realized how unprepared he was to be president, and I'm sorry, but i can't afford another 4 years of that. and even though he doesn't expose himself to the backlash of a bad debate performance anymore, he STILL loses states--despite having a much larger operating budget for his campaign, and, supposedly, being the inevitable choice--as it seems the DNC is leaning towards nominating him. Even though America is DESPERATELY trying to send a message over and over to the superdelegates--we want HILLARY. only SHE can win over enough Americans to beat McCain. But after the DNC's upsetting decision--those of us who voted for Hillary in FL are EXTREMELY upset. So upset you start to feel numb-- to the point of being jaded. the DNC's decision to count our delegates as 1/2 vote per person...it is a slap in the face after all that we have gone through in this state...and giving ALL OF THE REMAINING VOTES TO OBAMA IN MICHIGAN IS BAFFLING TO ME. are the Rules and Bylaws members, just making them up as it suits them?? because it seems to me that if the man didn't even run, he shouldn't get any votes. period. and if they are not counting all of the other candidates at the time, then why not do the same in FL?? she would have a much higher delegate count then .but of course, that is not what the DNC members want, is it? no. they want to preserve the delegate lead Obama has, and in that way they think they will 'avoid' backlash. what cowards. i am ashamed that we are in the same party. this is not the party i came to love. A party so ready to preserve the status quo, they are afraid to stand up and do what is right? even if it is difficult? democrats are supposed to rule by Majority. and the majority is for HILLARY. wake up DNC! while you are trying to preserve the status quo, you have lost perspective. people are disillusioned with their party. As a Floridian, I HIGHLY doubt we Floridians will go and vote because most of us feel our vote hasn't counted in a LONG time. And this latest insult by OUR OWN PARTY--IS THE LAST STRAW. they truly underestimate what it is like to be in a terrible situation, and have your only authority, your fundamental right as a citizen--your only hope--usurped. because that is what voting is to most people. an exercise in hope. hope that you have a say in your own life. you can change your bad lot. you choose what happens to you. and too many of us feel like that is no longer a reality in Florida. And that is why McCain will win. Because the DNC members and superdelegates have been so caught up in thier own sense of power and judgement, and their idea of what is best for the country, that they are NOT listening to what American Democrats have been practically shouting at them--WE WANT HILLARY. Hello? Anyone listening? Someone tell Wolf Blitzer and the CNN best political team on television, that Obama is not a foregone conclusion. America is voting--we are finally out and voting in record numbers, and we are being belittled by the so-called 'math' of the DNC. Watching the deliberations of the DNC Rules & Bylaws only added insult to injury. To see how important it was for them to want to 'resolve' the issue quickly and 'go home' today, not tomorrow...it was a disgusting spectacle. and it makes me ashamed to be a democrat. Everyone trying to finish this quickly so as to draw less attention to the mess that they created--what did they think would happen ? If iowa and New Hampshire constantly call the shots on who our next president should be, then how can the committee members sit there with a straight face and tell the public that they took all states into consideration? It is rediculous to think that the other 48 states are to be held hostage to the will of Iowa and New Hampshire. Adding Nevada and South Carolina is only a slap in the face. No one state should have that much power, and I think it is ENTIRELY the DNC's fault that this is happening, and they are cowards for 'hiding' beind Rules and Bylaws, saying that 'we are a land of laws, if not their would be chaos'. Wake up--when your Rules are stacked, then THAT and only that causes chaos. Punishing FL and MI for YOUR mistakes is a coward's way out, and I am sure that is not what the founding fathers had in mind when they set the 'rules' of our land. the problem with the DNC Rules and Bylaws members--and some superdelegates that 'claim' to be impartial, is that their lives are too easy. they are too complacent. they don't have to live the difficult lives that would otherwise make it impossible to be a 'superdelegate'. to have enough money to travel back and forth between Washington, D.C. and wherever. to have been afforded the health and opportunity of a good education. and that is fine. i want my representative to have a good education. and i want them to be able to have enough money to travel so that they CAN do thier job...but if they have forgotten thier primary objective--to REPRESENT me...then what is the point of being a democrat? or more to the point, why is THAT democrat representing me to begin with? the DNC was supposed to represent FL. And our vote didn't count--again. the republicans have won the strategy game--AGAIN. they counted on this happening, and there you have it. they were right. i thought, in the beginning, that i would vote democrat no matter what. but at this point, since the DNC doesn't seem to care what its own party members want, if Hillary's not the candidate you can be sure I wont be the only one not voting in the general election. I'm sorry , but you can scream "unity" all you want, but actions ALWAYS speak louder than words. And this supposed compromise is just another voice quaffed. I'm sorry, but I just thought someone should know that the reason we won't win the general election is because the DNC has not only lost perspective, but the respect FOR the people and OF the people they represent.
