Stand up and be counted

How long before the elected officials from both sides stop this ever ending spiral of fuel costs, mark my word the economic impact will be felt so hard in the next few month that the nation and its people will surely be greatly harmed, it is the people on this sight and around the country that must call for the end, their can be no justification for these price rises so quickly, they can spin all they want, but no one can justify it. I call upon Barack and Hillary supporters to call, e-mail what ever, we have a sitting President that is just sitting, god how could we have put him in office. Break with your bickering, and saying you will vote for McCain, if thats what you want we do not need you on this sight, we are at a critical time in this country, wake up everybody, the signs are all around.
The power of words rang loud in St.Paul, white, black, rich, poor, asian, mexican everyone from everywhere was on their feet, an amazing sight that brought tremmers to your heart, wake up party, unite, we have a leader that will make your best dreams possible again, this is a debate I can surely win and look foreward to this debate with anyone, I have seen the pain thru out the land and it does not matter the party, they are coming to this campaign, we the people shall make a difference.
Let us now join together, Senator Clinton supporters and Senator Obama supporters, let us try to put this dream team together if possible, much has been said, much has been written, but the pieces to the puzzle may still come together, if this party will truley unite behind Barack, their is a great possibilty it could happen, my support for Barack has never changed and my respect for Hilary has never changed, my goal, as yours should be to now unite. We have climbed a high mountain and put the hopes and dreams of the people at the for front. On tuesday after the last primaries, let us start the biggest political march ever witnessed, let us in November turn the colors from red states and blue states to our united states, for I believe the turn out will be something they will talk about forever, we will have a President in Barack that will put the people first, thanks to all of you in this party, the real fight starts Tuesday.
Tuesday we will have reached the top of the mountain, the journey to the white house will be easier then the one being played out right now, we were given two great candidates during this process, the change we all seek shall come, the dreams of a better life then the past are near and the hope of so many are within reach. We shall take a republican by the hand and show them the light for the have been blinded for so long. Only in America can a dream come true.
Where the people have a voice, the wind is at the back of Senator Obama, join this campaign and bring hope to the many, a nation not devided by the color of ones skin, a new oppurtunity of employment in wind, solar, and bio fuel, not run by big oil, a policy of peace thru out the world that will allow our military men and women to share their time with their families and not on foriegn soil. To dream of good is wise, to drift is unwise, in your lifetime their comes only a few times to make a real difference this is that moment, do not be caught in eating the words you speak, this our time, for next week we begin the walk to the white house, join us, you cannot stop a movement of the people.
Within the next few days the long battle for this parties nominee will close. It takes a great person to accept the will of the people even if the results lean the other way, we shall soon know if the support of the two candidates was for the people or for personnel gain. I heard many people plan to protest the DNC meeting set for tommorrow, I respect the freedom of choice to do so, but also would respect the outcome, I did not support the length of time the DNC took to make this decision, but this is a party of rules, if change is needed then the people must change the rules. I am a Senstor Obama supporter but also respect the decision of the people, the process may need change but when the decision is made I would accept nothing less then the supporters of the opponent to support the outcome. The cry for Florida and Michigan will be settled tommorrow, the decision in the eyes of the people should be final, their is great honor to accept defeat when you have given it your best, it is disloyal to defy it.
McCain is trying the same old trick of accusing Senator Obama about not visiting Iraq, let Mr. McCain spend more time visiting the sick, homeless, unemployed, elderly, children who's mother and father have been killed in the unjust war, the people put homeless by storms, time at home is needed, wake up America, we will not be tricked again, Senator Obama, your terms, your terms, this republican party is thru.
Went to the store to get some coffee so I could watch the DNC try to change the rules in mid stream, coffee is now over $9.00 a can. Along with gas prices, home foreclosures, unemployment, healthcare costs, the war now they want to take my coffee, thanks DNC, we should have spent all this time wasted on defeating McCain. Super Delegates stand up to the plate after tuesday, do the job your elected to do.
I hope all the great minds that put this process in play thought of what would happen in this situation, I know much time was spent on writing the constitution, we have spent 18mths in a process that comes to the changing of the rules, thanks. It does not matter the outcome, the focus was shifted from the election of a demacrat to a focus on who's who.
The constitution was written for the people and by the people, to guide the United States of America, would this nation have come this far if the rules set forth in this document could be easily changed. This is a free nation governed by rules and laws for the benifit of all. No matter who you support this is an unjust action that this party has to endure, it does not matter if it was done by the state or not, this action was voted on and accepted, this is where it should have stayed. No party, that wishes to take the white house can accept the changeing of any rules that have been voted on and put in place. I cannot accept this move while thousands of people thru out this nation are being left behind each and everyday. This is a party builder site, this party cannot accept a change in rules no matter what or we have learned nothing these past years.
May 31, the DNC this year will try to change the hopes of the people who have suffered for years under this administration. They will seek to change the Rules they put in place. The meaning of rules, to set the guid lines of a contest. If you did not need them or they did not mean anything why have them. They have put this party in disaray, which every nominee this party puts forth the DNC has done this party harm. Even if the rules do not change, it should never have come to this, no nation can do its people justice if the rules can be changed to the benifit of others, this nation has lived thru the changing of rules these past years and look where we are today. I am one that plays by rules as should every american, I hope that everyone that cried to the DNC is happy, for what ever outcome comes out of this meeting, once again I feel we are heading down a endless street with no change in the direction for the sake of the people of this country.
Many on this site have accused Senator Obama of not holding to his word, I would like the Senator Clinton supporters to state on this blog that they would never accuse Senator Obama for changeing his position if he allows Florida and Michigan votes to be counted. I would like you to state for all to see that you will not then accuse him of going back on his word. It seems many in the other camp want him to reverse the dicision made prior to the start of this campaign to appease Senator Clinton. If this cannot be done, I see know reason for him to do this.
With every passing day the fuel price rise is taking a national toll on both the people and the small business of this nation. Their seems to be a stalemate with the ones the people elected to office on their behalf. But to be able to get to tommorrow and the new leadership that will surely come, we must get by today. The elected officials that now hold office must step up to the plate for the people, it does not matter what side of the isle they walk, they cannot just sit and wait until November, for tommorrow maybe worse then today.
Let us not let the media decide this election, the color of skin or gender should not play a part. Let us not blame the african americans for voting for Barack and the women voting for Hilary. Let us find a common ground to eliminate this bias thinking, a women and a person of color are welcome in this country, and have as much right to lead it as anyone else.
To my friends on this site and around the country, I ask my Barack supporters as well as Clinton supporters, do not say you would vote republican instead of democrat because the candidate of our choice does not win, we all have one goal, we must all find good in the choice of the party, I do not like when the supporters of Barack say they would rather vote rep., and I am a strong supporter of his, let us come together and find they way to now unite this party for one common goal, I honor the loyalty of Hilary supporters that is what makes this party great.
If only the new president would take office tommorrw, the pain would be lessened, as we look thru the glove box of our car to find more pennies to fill our tank, the pennies we take will no longer by food or pay the morgage. No person on this planet can justify a vote for the republican nominee. The cost to this nation may never be fixed, we now hold in our hands the deck of cards to erase the full house this republican party has played out for years and even this will take time and much work by us.
