No Longer for Hillary
About the Author
Lambs to the slaughter we will go if we do not stand UNITED!
UNITE and WIN 08!
UNITE and WIN 08!
This one goes out to all the Clinton backers who are still a little sore, and are pledging to "go over to the darkside" because their candidate has fallen.
COME OVER TO THE DARKSIDE LUKE AND YOU WILL: be converting from no-war to pro-war, more spending on schools and health care to less spending on schools and health care, less guns to more guns, women's rights to no rights, pro blue collar to choke-hold collar, less government surveillance to more big brother, less lies to more lies, etc.
An amazing transformation overnight!
This is gut-check time for the Democrats, and the weak fringe is falling by the wayside.

UNITE
THE REALITY is that if the Democrats come together now,and UNITE, they WILL win.
IF the Democrats continue to bicker among themselves, they will lose.
It is up to all the Democrats to stay in the fight, and to stay UNITED against a common enemy.
Clinton has divided this party with her low-brow political pot-shots and her character assassination campaign- but Clinton supporters are unable to admit that the divisiveness within the party was her doing and she is responsible.
It is also a character-check for this nation as a whole, as it seems this nation is truly divided along racial lines and the REALITY that is most obvious and so little discussed openly in the news, is the prevalence of racism right here in the Democratic Party.
Perhaps the Democrats should clean house, and rid racism from its ranks once and for all.
UNITY will WIN

Elitism is a GOOD THING!
Right now we need the BEST of the BEST to lead this
great nation.
The FEW the PROUD.
We need the brightest and best stars, not a president we can feel comfortable having a beer, or bowling with.
I don't care if my president is personable like a talk show host, or one of my buddies.
They are supposed to be leaders, not our buddies! They stand apart from the masses!
It is time the "middle class" blue-collar worker put an end to anti-intellectualism!
We have seen what happens to a great nation when we empower a president who doesn't like to read and write!
Seriously, I know a working class guy from Cleveland who installs glass windows in cars, and would not vote for Obama because he would not wear a flag on his lapel. Meanwhile, he complains about not having enough time from work for his family, and a boss who is trying to rip him off over salary and health care.
This is not Irony. This is ignorance!
Far too long has the American middle class Expected Less from our leaders and this country is suffering from it.

I am a crossover voter, an Independent, who against my own best judgments and skeptical reasoning, voted for Kerry in last election.
I have again changed my party affiliation in this election to vote on the Democratic ticket.
I changed my affiliation only to vote for Obama.
I did so because out of the three candidates, he is the only leader.
We have witnessed 8 years of rule under a president who is clearly not a leader.
By this time, it should be more clear to the Democratic Party what a leader does or does not look like.
It is as simple as that really.
All this talk about churches and loyalties and patriotism is distracting from the real issues.
A vote against Hillary is not a vote for McCain (especially if I vote against McCain as well).
This is the same rhetoric used during the Nader affair.
My vote is my vote, and these candidates have to earn it.
I will not pledge my vote by default to the "social club" of the democrats just because McCain is the McSame.
It is high time the democrats expect more from their candidates, and not settle so easily for whatever democrat survives the primary.
Hillary is not a leader, and until she starts acting like one, I will remove myself from next years' presidential election if the democrats put her on the ticket.
It is that simple.
It this sense, I am one of those voters (who knows how many there are out there) that Obama has brought into the process, who would otherwise would not participate (and by not participating, would be democratically voting "no vote").
Being a professor, an enviro, and a progressive, I risk everything if McCain wins- even my own future job opportunities and financial security.
Nevertheless there is only one leader out of the 3 candidates still standing.
It is as simple as that.
Obama for president.

I am an Obama supporter.
Going into the primaries I voted for Obama but would have been happy voting for either Obama or Hillary in the presidential election.
This is no longer the case.
If Obama does not win the primary, I will not vote for Hillary during the presidential election.
Her actions, words, and her character throughout this primary campaign have been deceitful, dishonorable, and despicable.
She has now proven that she is no leader, and I simply do not feel like I trust a word she says.
If she wins, the Democrats have lost one more vote in the presidential election.
So this extensive and tiresome democratic primary has brought out the worst in Hillary, divided the party, and the sooner it is finished, the better.
My vote will be for Obama or nothing at all.
