but it's certainly time to engage in a less destructive hobby than blogging on this site. i have taken down my personal history sheet and sadly deleted my friends' listing. i am not sure what principles this PaartyBuilder stands for or the Democrats who use it--surely not for party loyalty or adherence for decent consideration for other Democrats. It is svery well to disagree with others' statements but not to damage their sense of pride and self worth, which is what's been happening. Those willing and eager to damage party unity blog way out of proportion to their numbers and at great length. They often will single out one name to attack, like chickens in a pen pecking away to weaken another one. So i am gone--to take care of my affairs and my daughter. i will not read any comments but would like to say godbye to my good friends whose conduct and principles i've admired,
Watching C-Span from 7 to 10 every am, i quickly understood that visiting guests who were interviewed as authorities on a subject were presenting slanted views according to the "foundation" that they were representing. Two of these, the Enterprise and Heritage Foundations, were on the right of the political spectrum. But there are dozens more that I have not been able to place. For the average viewer who has no clue whether the speaker is in the employ of a certain institution with a message to sell,s/he cannot possibly estimate the validity of the guest's viewpoint.
If there is a blogger who could identify for me the position taken by these foundations, even newspapers, that would be a great help. I do know that the Washington Post and NY Times are considered to be left leaning while the Washington Times and LA newspaper are on the right. The Boston Globe, am not sure. Thanx for any input.

The morning news of TV broke the newest figures on the PA race with Obama ahead, not by a wide margin but finally ahead. O supporters can be really pleased since that contest seemed unwinable. No one has analyzed why O has now been able to pull ahead when his campaign was so lately bogged down with "bitternesss". For one, I do hope that the enlightened people of PA can see the political tricks of the trade coming from the C camp and will not be persuaded. However, must say again that after the Bush league, either of our candidates will be a deeply felt relief.
