Indeed, there are — an army of them, untold thousands of young organizers operating out of more than 700 offices nationwide. And they have delivered a message to Rudy Giuliani, who sneered during the Republican National Convention that he didn't even know "what a community organizer is." This is who they are: they are the people who won this election. They were the heart and soul and backbone of Barack Obama's victory. They are destined to emerge as the next significant generation of American political operatives — similar to the antiwar and antisegregation baby boomers who dominated the Democratic Party after cutting their teeth on the Bobby Kennedy and Eugene McCarthy campaigns of 1968, similar to the pro-life, antitax Reaganauts who dominated the Republican Party and American politics from the election of 1980 ... until now. They are a preview of the style and substance of the Obama Administration.

{{smiling}} I'll bet when he got my phone call he never would have guessed his suggestion would end up on the DNC Website.----anyway, he turned me onto this chart, than as he said, none of the MSM pundits will mention, because you would not bother with listening to thier drama claptrap.

Being a c-span junkie, I watched the hearings on the election frauds of 2000 and especially 2004.
If you did not---then you can see much of it by searching around youtube and google, but here is a start for you.

UNBELIEVABLE that the congress that we sent to protect us in 2006 has not made sure that this information got out to everyone, and that they didn't focus on and achieve for us an election that we know that we are in control of.
THIS WILL DEFINATELY, IMO, HAVE TO BE A MANDATE ----
It is also my opinion that there could be no more of an important issue for our new president and congress to solve immediately, so that we never, ever again have need to question who is in control of our votes.
This was as great suggestion----
You will have a record of voting in the most important and hitorical election in our history----plus, if you or anyone else has a problem voting, it can be caught on tape so there is a record.
Here is some more help from moveon.org

Barack's Tutu has left---
at first, I am so sad that she will not be here to see the beginning of our transformation, and the role she played in it.
But then, maybe she felt that she could be more help from a higher place;-)

This isn't only embarrassing-----she is a danger to our troops and other countries already realize that she isn't just a danger to America,----she endangers the world. She has been able to bluff her way into arena's and learn on the job------SHE HAS NO IDEA EVEN WHAT SHE DOESN'T KNOW and how dangerous that is. Our friends (like Canada) are scared, and our enemies are wringing their hands in hopes of being in the position to be able to manipulate her.
Well, hellllllloooooo -(cute cute)---darn it wasn't him yethttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzII2XhDo14&feature=relatedwith transcriptamerican adviser Johny Holiday! That is the name of a french singer. And quebec prime minister of quebec richard z. siroy, no way. ----The current Premier of Quebec is Jean Charest, appointed June 6, 2003I don't blame her for not getting the lines in French (Carla's song entitled Lipstick on a Female Pig) but besides the stupidy is the utter ignorance in dealing with foreign heads of state. Calling a President "Nicolas." And the dishonesty --given the names of 2 entertainers as Canadian prime minister and Quebec Premier Ministre, trying to make it sound like she worked closely with them. She didn't know that Stef Carse was not the Prime Minister of Canada or worse, that Quebec does not have a PM??? ---she says "welllll Stef Carse is doing fine too" like she would know how the Prime Minister is ---let alone that Stef Carse is not his name.I just love killin those animals----mmmm mmmmmm killing a life, that is so much fun.It would be good to google the "PRIME MINISTER OF QUEBEC"and maybe when the President of France talks about his wife being good in bed, ......And she giggled about her documentary Hustlers "nailin Palin"she says "huh, good, thank you" giggle giggleCALL LETTERS CKY lolEverytime I listen I find another gaff----this was well plannedSee how many you can findI said from the beginning----I know this woman and she doesn't know how over her head she is-----but John McCain did and does. Her children, along with Levi, did not sign on for this and yet it is their lives that john mccain was willing to sacrifice. If she protects we the people like she protects her own children, God help us all. With a lifelong right leaning supreme court----The threat to ALL OUR CIVIL RIGHTS across the board seems to be discounted, while focusing on Roe v Wade.
A great example is what is happening here in California
For the first time in our history, our California citizens may vote to change our constitution-----NOT TO ASSURE US MORE PROTECTION, BUT TO ACTUALLY MAKE SURE THAT A SEGMENT OF OUR CITIZENS CANNOT HAVE EQUAL CIVIL RIGHTS.
Now, if that happens, it is sure to be challenged in the U.S. SUPREME COURT----- and I was again told this morning that McCain's appointments to the supreme court won't matter because Roe v Wade will not be overturned anyway. YIKES

WHILE WE ARE FOCUSED ON THE ELECTION----BUSH IS FOCUSED ON Weakening Government Rules Aimed At Protecting Consumers And The Environment, thereby tying the next administrations hands.
Once such rules take effect, they typically can be undone only through a laborious new regulatory proceeding, including lengthy periods of public comment, drafting and mandated reanalysis.
"They want these rules to continue to have an impact long after they leave office," said Matthew Madia, a regulatory expert at OMB Watch, a nonprofit group critical of what it calls the Bush administration's penchant for deregulating in areas where industry wants more freedom. He called the coming deluge "a last-minute assault on the public . . . happening on multiple fronts."
FINAL PUSH FOR DEREGULATION

BUT, the majority of Obama negative e-mails I am now getting from across the country are about Barack taking away peoples guns----I am also seeing it stepped up on the Right Wing websites.
I can usually tell by the fear e-mails that come-----which issue the republicans are saturating our middle america with, and it also usually shows up somewhere in MSM with democrats debunking those erroneous negative messages.
I am in California, so we don't have all those negative republican ads, robo calls, and mailings here because it would do no good, so my question is to you in our battleground states.
Are you seeing this step-up in telling the people that Barack Obama is going to take away their guns?-----and if so, why do you think we are not seeing OUR SURROGATES out in the MSM, or even Barack Obama himself, -----addressing this most important issue for the vast majority of Americans.
Especially the independants that we need so badly. ie/independants that have left both parties because they have become so afraid of our government (and rightfully so), ----independents that are joining with the libertarian party because of the loss of our rights-----and the need to protect ourselves, especially from our government----which is what the second amendment is all about.
This issue needs to be hit hard in the next couple of days in my opinion.
McCain, who made solid gains in Friday's single day of polling, sliced Obama's lead among independents from 15 points to 6 points and among women from 9 points to 4 points.

Please God, so many of our citizens are uneducated and have been kept ignorant.
Please God, we have now lost 4 generations to lack of education and imported addictive drugs.
Please God, help US go in a new direction so my grandson will not be saying this same prayer to you in 20 years.

I have voted in Northern California for over 40 years and not once have I had to stand in line, but I have always voluteered and run an advertised hot-line for people who need a ride and been a driver who picked them up and took them home----(we are very rural, and believe me ---cell phones have really made the whole ordeal easier lol) anyway...........
I have always watched the tv with long lines in other areas and thought, wow---if I lived in that area, I would go down to the polls and take snacks, and hot drinks, and maybe folding chairs, for the main reason to have an excuse of being there so I could ENTHUSIASTICALLY ENCOURAGE those who want to drop out of line and go home. I would want the opportunity to be there thanking them, and encouraging them to get on my cell phone and call their family members to see who hasn't voted yet, and ask them to come join them----
Can you imagine the great feeling you would have when you get home? Can you imagine being able to go to your car, and get a folding chair for a senior citizen that doesn't think they can stand up too much longer? ------ or play a game with a cranky child that mom had to bring, because she had no choice if she wanted to vote?
I am a little pebble in a little pond---but I know that I can make big ripples that will follow everyone I touch and affect everyone they touch.
Where do live?-------do you have long lines, especially after people get off work and are already exhausted and have to get home because they have a hungry family?

About 83 percent of Californians behind Obama said their vote is more in support of the Illinois senator than a vote against McCain. By comparison, far more of those supporting McCain -- 31 percent -- say their vote is more against Obama than an endorsement of McCain. That number is even higher -- 36 percent -- in the Inland area and other parts of Southern California outside of Los Angeles, DiCamillo said.
