A Latino Blog Born Under Underrepresentation
I posted about the attempt to steal California's votes from under the feet of Democrats by Republican dirty tricks.
Here is what you can do about it.
Go to Courage Campaign and give 'em some $'s to fight the well funded Republican machine.

I HOPE this has been talked about before. I just HOPE this is not the first mention of the effort to divy-up California's electoral vote.
Democrats.org has a post called "MUST READ: "Republican Dirty Tricks Begin"" that's worth checking out...
Republicans are sponsoring a ballot initiative in California that would change how the state distributes its electoral votes, hoping to pick up just enough seats to win the White House.
This has been going on in the blogosphere since September 4th, or was it July? I mean, this is MAJOR!
I don't believe it. The Senate just voted to condemn the MoveOn ad: General Betray Us.

And I can't believe that 25 Dems voted along with this. Don't they now THAT POPULAR PUBLIC OPINION IS AGAINST THE WAR???
Basically the Senate is saying:

Looks like some in the progressive blogosphere is slamming Hillary's HealthCare plan:
Yikes! Thoughts?
"Senator, your plan is basically a national version of Republican Mitt Romney’s “Universal Health Care” plan for Massachusetts, which has still left thousands in that state uninsured and even more struggling to make the payments on their new policies, which they are now required to have by law, but which may not pay them one thin dime should they actually become sick or hurt. What you’re trying to pass off here as some kind of bold new way forward is just another bureaucratic nightmare in the making, as the already staggeringly inefficient insurance corporations struggle to take on the millions of new clients and patients."
Yikes! Thoughts?
Hi,
My name is Louis Pagan. I run LatinoPundit.com, a progressive Hispanic/Latino focused blog. I've blogged for four years now. My entry into the blogosphere was prompted by a fruitless search to find Latino based blogs, thus the expression "Born Out Of Underrepresentation."
Although, that slogan has a hint of anger I have no chips on my shoulders. I say that because I would like to see more or some Latino based blogs on this network (or even in the blogroll). It's a shame that we don't have more ethnic blogs or local blogs present here, and only link to major blogs (although Stephanie did mention that they ARE redoing the blogroll).
My voice, I believe is unique in the blogosphere. For one LatinoPundit, reaches Hispanics and addresses those issues therein. Further, LatinoPundit acts as a go-between (as some others do as well), with mainstream issues. This is important because not all Latinos are actively involved in national issues, but makes their plights local. Which is fine - there is a strong need for that activism.
I think that's all I will say for now. You guys/gals can infer from there or ask questions, or comment. A discourse would be great.
