Why can't Obama close the deal? He spent all this money and he still loses.
Have you ever run against Hillary? Was Bill not a formidable politician? Has Hillary received less than 55% of the female vote in any contest so far? Women have always voted in significantly higher numbers in Democratic primaries than men. Give me a break. The real story of this primary election is how in the world could a relatively unknown black candidate be so competitive. How could anyone possibly out raise the Clinton money machine?
Clinton's 10 point victory in PA tonight keeps her solidly in the race. She is likely to pick up 10-13 delegates.
NC delegate projections...

The race appears to be closer in Indiana.
Will either candidate close the deal? NO. Supers will decide the race.
The answer is simple. These are the best two candidates we have pitted against each other in the history of Democratic politics. LBJ v JFK included.
Keith asked her what a president could really do. She said: (1) investigate oil company price fixing; (2) agreed with McCain about suspending the federal gas tax; (3) release amounts from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve; (4) give a speech that would convince OPEC we are serious about alternative fuels. (1) is pure bs. Oil companies don't need to drive the price up. China's increased demand and no new supplies are a reality. Mexico and Russia have already declared that their production is falling. (2) Federal gasoline tax is 18 cents per gallon. Prices have gone up that much in the last two months. (3) Strategic Petroleum Reserve releases ROFLMAO. How many months supply do you think this reserve has? (4) Give a speech about how serious we are about alternatives? She never mentioned the word "conservation" in her entire response. IF Americans don't get serious about reducing their personal consumption of petroleum, we are screwed. We do not need another president calling for "painless" solutions. My first post ever on this blog was entitled "Gasoline does not cost enough" http://www.democrats.org/page/community/blog/stevewilson/2007/07?page=2
I stand by my first post.
She defended using Osama Bin Laden in her recent campaign ad. She thinks that Scaife has had a deathbed conversion and is no longer a part of the "vast right wing conspiracy". This last question by Keith was especially uncomfortable for her as she broke out into several "gaggles".
Question: How does Matt Drudge have access to Clinton's "internal" polls?

On a recent post, I disputed claims that Clinton is ahead at this point in the race.
I posted my source. It has a complete breakdown by state that can be checked to Secretary of State records in each state. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/democratic_vote_count.html
I was told
"SW, it is posted on this blog on a DAILY basis if not more, the links to the total votes ! This is not a mystery, Clinton LEADS in popular vote totals WITH MI and Fla."
I read this blog daily and don't remember a source showing Clinton ahead in popular vote cast so far, whether or not FL and MI are included.
