Barack Obama's decision to forgo public financing for his presidential campaign provides him with the tools needed to implement a "Shock and Awe" television ad strategy designed to paralyze John McCain's campaign, an expert on political TV advertising said in an interview with CNN. The better-funded Obama is likely to force McCain to spend money on TV ads in Arkansas, Georgia and North Carolina, said Evan Tracey, CNN's consultant on political television advertising. At this point in the campaign, these are states that CNN projects McCain has an edge over the Illinois Democrat, but by no means are these states safely in the Arizona Republican's column. Obama is expected to raise three or four times the $85 million he would have received from the public financing system, providing him with a huge financial advantage over McCain, who has opted to take the public funds. President Bush Discusses War on Terror in South Carolina
For Immediate Release
Office of the Press Secretary
July 24, 2007
Charleston Air Force Base
Charleston, South Carolina
11:50 A.M. EDT
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you all. Please be seated. Thank you, Colonel. Thanks for the hospitality and kind introduction. I'm proud to be with the men and women of the Air Force, the Navy, the Marines, the Army and the Coast Guard. Thanks for serving. Thanks for wearing the uniform of the United States of America.
I'm proud to be back here in the great state of South Carolina. I'm proud to be with some of the Palmetto State's finest citizens. I'm glad to be eating lunch with you. The food is pretty good, Colonel. (Laughter.) I always like a good barbecue.
I also am proud to be with the military families. You know, our troops are obviously engaged in a tough struggle, tough fight, a fight that I think is noble and necessary for our peace. And so are our families. Our military families endure the separations. They Read More »
One of Iran’s missiles sounds more like a barbeque, but it's no picnic: Shahab. This site shows diagrams of the different sizes they're producing: http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/world/iran/missile.htm news reports claimed that Iran is developing a 3,500-mile (5,632 kilometers) range missile called Shahab-6 that would be capable of reaching Europe. I read elsewhere that it's only capable of 2,000 miles, so this global security site (linked to government?) may be exaggerating, not sure. The technology for this system was cited as coming from Russia and North Korea. Shahab-4, 5, & 6 is in all probability China through a "Know How" technology transfer agreement requested by Iran. Another reason we should boycott the Olympics. Wonder if BO is going? Yep, they’re really going to take over the world with 50-300 scud B missiles and 50-150 scud C missiles and 25-100 Zelzal 3’s. Mkay. Notice it took 7 years to compile this information from year 2000. Compare to Iraq and what they had to go on: http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/world/iraq/missile.htm
Tony Blair should be held accountable, even more so than Lil B. It was his dossier that convinced Bush. Gov. Mitt Romney, Florida
Gov. Charlie Crist and Louisiana
Gov. Bobby Jindal and their wives
I noticed they're pushing Mitt Romney in the limelight recently. McCranky is going to hold out until last minute to counter BO.
Obama has fielded numerous questions about perhaps offering Hillary Rodham Clinton a spot on his ticket. The former first lady suspended her own presidential campaign but issued a strong endorsement for him. Okay, so now he's entertained:
Majority Leader Harry Reid
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi
Reps. Jim Clyburn of South Carolina
Rahm Emanuel of Illinois
Jim Johnson and Eric Holder asked to guide the vetting. Johnson suffered media coverage about corruption, so he left.
What we know from the past is, Cheney was guiding the vetting, when he put himself as a running mate.
So, who do you think each of these front runners will announce as their VP running mate?
My guess is:
-Sen. McCranky & Sen. Lindsey Graham
-Sen. BO & Sen. Dick Durbin or Sen. Joe Biden/or General Wesley Clark (last 2 favorable)
I predict it could possible be an all out senatorial race...first in history.
All I know is, I want accountability in Washington, we haven't had it in ANY party. Put PINK in the party and damn, you'll have it! We'll beotch. We know how. :P
What you think...
It's pretty obvious that the media has a bizarre fascination with Barack Obama. Some may even say it's a love affair. We want you to be the judge. We've compiled two videos of the more outrageous moments of this not so secret love affair. Follow this link to watch the two videos and vote on which one you think is better. Your vote will determine which video we put on the air.
The media is in love with Barack Obama. If it wasn't so serious, it would be funny.
Regards,
The McCain Campaign
You think the media is unfair to McCain? I don't, he's hearing exactly what he and his wife are. Morons. They've been getting excellent treatment until recently when he starts attacking BO when he promised he wouldn't.
You think the media is unfair to BO? I don't think so. The media made he and Hillary media darlings and why I called them "Twins" long ago.
"Gaaw-aawl-ly" and "Surprise, surprise, surprise!"
Think he should apologize to us for holding us hostage to our credit cards and the fuel pump?
Waste NO TIME in impeaching these men. Who cares if it galvanizes the GOP, there are GOP jumping ship, they don't want to get sucked down the drain...and they ARE going to leave, we'll see to it.
I've had to apologize ever since I learned about slavery. I think I speak for many in that we are sickened by our history of slavery, but we shouldn't have to keep apologizing or have a threat held over us that money will satisfy. People suffered hard times back then and blacks even more. But there were a few blacks that were treated fairly and sheltered from the offenses. I visited castles where blacks were hidden and allowed to read, they were fed, clothed better than whites. We should remember slavery, so we never commit this crime against humanity, but we must move on and continue to unite our society, rather than harbor bitterness and stir emotions and point fingers. We've grown as a nation, let's keep growing.
We should focus on the class that has no voice: our troops and children without health care.
Things might not be 100% fair - that goes for every human being, but relations between blacks and whites, I would say is at 99%. I see the bright side, we have laws to protect all humans, regardless of color and have placed those provisions in all working environments, we're fairer than most countries. That said, we've come a long way baby, it's time to focus on moving forward, not backward and shaming by pointing fingers.
I apologize again, but I shouldn't be shamed to do this. I'll do it when and if I want.
Another Hint:
"I've been fighting these people all my entire life.
We've got to stop being mealy-mouthed and careful. We've got to get rid of the robber barons. We need to have some guts."
And this persons voice rose, "It makes me angry. I feel outrage. I won't let them get away with it."
Can you guess who said these things?
Wexler, Frank, and Thompson have conceded that HConRes 362 effectively calls for a blockade.
http://www.justforeignpolicy.org/involved/hconres362.html
Go Wexler go!
Impeach these morons now. We should be flooding this board with impeachment posts calling all the politicians to vote I, in favor of impeachment. Now is the time.
Three Questions for Mc Cain:
1. WHEN did you win a war? Viet Nam wasn't a declared war, we did NOT win there and YOU can not single handed-ly or backhandedly win a war.
2. What do you win in a war? A trip to Disneyland?
3. Who in the hell advises you on this war rhetoric?
4. Do you think leaking BO's name to the terrorist enemy will help win the war? Is that your war strategy? Will it cost tax payers more money if BO were to become a casualty, or a POW?
5. What is a uranium gas enrichment centrifuge and what is it used for? Ask lil B.

I'm grateful to her for being so dedicated to politics, to Womens' and health care issues. If men had a womb they'd think differently about her. She inspires little girls all over the world. Make sure they know that following 9-11 attacks she sought funding for the recovery efforts and security for NYC. She helped secure $21 billion for the WTC redevelopment. She led investigations into health care for first responders of 9-11. She wants to end suffering of Afghan women under Taliban rule. She stood for health benefits for veterans and lobbied against closure of military bases that give them care. She lobbied for health care for children, and women and men. She called for investigation on sexual scenes in kids video games. She's here to protect us in a way government should. Ever since she came onto the politico scene, she's been viewed as a female identity that draws fascination, while there was a large amount of misogyny present about Clinton on the Internet and this ladies, is the thing we HAVE to fight. It's NEVER right to let men reduce women to 'baggage' no matter what their vote or stance was. We shouldn't be reduced to sexual humiliation. That happens in other cultures, not our own...but it happened. And I'm sad to say there are cruel people, especially to women (evident in politics) and that it happened to this human that dedicated her life to charitable causes of making children, women, men of service, and others, an offering of a better life. She was here to improve the quality of life and reverse damage what a man the last 8 years caused. She proved to me she's a strong woman, stronger than I imagined to put up with all the biting remarks. It had to hurt. Little girls should know that. And I salute her. PINK!
And I Love this woman too!

Issues important to liberal feminists to bring positive change includes reproductive and abortion rights, sexual harassment, voting, education, equivalent pay for comparable work, safe and affordable childcare, health care, domestic violence at home and abuse in work place, and voting.
Radical feminism considers male-based authority and power structure responsible for oppression and inequality. Misandry is the hatred of men or boys, as opposed to misogyny, the hatred of women; or misanthropy, hatred of the human species. We can't forget "penis envy" and "overt misandry." When men paint women in an evil, malicious or dirty light, as in the picture that showed a woman crying, while smoking and drinking wine, was an example of a man being misogynistic, or at least, evidence of misogyny. Don't call her a drama queen, or diva, her millionaire boyfriend probably just died, cheesch, now she's pressured. Don't punch women in the face, kiss them (only after you ask).

If you didn't know he's McCain's adviser...a crook.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Gramm
Years before Phil Gramm was a McCain campaign adviser and a lobbyist for a Swiss bank at the center of the housing credit crisis, he pulled a sly maneuver in the Senate that helped create today's subprime meltdown.
By David Corn
May 28, 2008
In response, the House Democratic leadership stripped him of his position on the committee. He won re-election to his House seat again in 1982. Following his reelection, Gramm resigned his House seat on January 5, 1983, forcing a mid-term special election. Gramm ran in that election on February 12, 1983 to fill the vacancy that he had created, but as a Republican. Winning, he became the first Republican to represent the district since its creation, and after he left the House, the seat was retained for the Republican party (by Joe Barton).

Canadian lawyers released a wrenching 2003 video - the first of its kind ever made public - of a tearful 16-year-old boy suffering what appears to be a mental breakdown during an interrogation by Canadian officials at the U.S. prison camp at Guantanamo Bay. Five years later, Omar Khadr has still not been charged with any crime.
The footage was made public by Mr Khadr's lawyers following a Supreme Court ruling in May that the Canadian authorities had to hand over key evidence against him to allow a full defense of the charges he is facing.
The video was filmed secretly through an air duct.

Iran says its nuclear program is purely energy-related, but the United States accuses it of trying to develop atomic arms.
http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5imG-Gmyrfld190llCL7AdcThgngAD91UKVO80
The package of incentives was accompanied by a letter from Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the foreign ministers of the other five countries and sets out a scenario in which Iran would get a temporary reprieve from economic and financial sanctions in exchange for freezing its enrichment activities.
Preliminary negotiations over a permanent halt could then begin, although the United States would not join them until after Iran agrees to fully suspend uranium enrichment, which can produce the fuel needed to make nuclear bombs.

American Envoy To Join Iran Talks Move Is Departure From Prior Policy
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/07/15/AR2008071502647.html?hpid=topnews
The Bush administration will send a senior envoy this weekend to international talks with Iran about its nuclear program in what U.S. officials described as a "one-time deal" designed to demonstrate a serious desire to negotiate a solution to the impasse over Tehran's ambitions.
In a significant departure from long-standing policy, Undersecretary of State William J. Burns will join a scheduled meeting in Geneva between European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana and top Iranian nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili, according to a senior State Department official
