I do have an issue with the handling and conduct of the war in Iraq like so many other Americans. However, I do not believe that the innocent civilians in Iraq should be abandoned, that they should face senseless violence and pay for the mistakes of Mr. Bush. If anyone should be held responsible it should be Mr. Bush. Congress should demand that Bush move to a temporary headquarters in Iraq and lead the troops there. Congress ought to demand that Mr. Bush stop playing Commander-in-chief on tv and at media events, only, and start living up to the role.
