White people in America today benefit from slavery in the past, whether their ancestors hd them or not. Just being White.
My answer:
It is not just the white race that has problems, it is your thinking just about you and your color. There are othr miniorities Indians, Chinese, Hispanics and Jews. Hell, we number in the billions for being killed, slaves and treated with discrimination. We do not even get a box to check what race we are. This world is not all about YOU! This is about the Human Race. I am damn sick of this white shit. It is the same as Hitler did to us, the Jews, a twisting of truths and centuries of historical fact. It was the Jews fault that Jesus was killed, and Jews had money and were hurting the economy. Used religion to kill us because the Government politics killed Jesus, and a few fanatical religious biggots that were Jews wanted Jesus killed inorder to keep their power. So, the sin went down centuries (just as you are doing)still to blame the Jews so that the whole race could be destroyed.
Get over this White Hate that you carry in your soul, tell your husband minister to stop the hate if he spews it in the Church.
THIS IS NOT ALL ABOUT ONE RACE, this is about the HUMAN RACE.
Hispanics were slaves and could not go to the bathroom, or drink out of a drinking fountain, or go to the same schools as whites. IT IS NOT ALL ABOUT YOUR RACE! They had the same plight as you. Are they acting like you, NO. They got their freedoms at the same time you did. Are they still being discriminated against, YOU BETCHA! Are they screaming me, me, me, we want Reparations! NO. In fact they are being discriminated against by Black's are treating Hispanics in New Orleans - a discussion NPR.
Let's now talk about how Black people discriminate within their own. My best friend is Black, and she is treated horribly by Black people because her skin is darker than most. What the fck is that about!
Now lets discuss why Jews are angry. Jesus was a Jew! Why in your churches do you make him black as the Cone theology that makes Jesus Black! WE ARE A RACE AND JESUS WAS A JEW. Listen to Cone theology on a Moyer PBS discussion with Cone, it is on the internet. You disrespect my race, you disrespect the Jewish faith, the Christian faith, old and new testimate. And Obama speech is an insult to the Jews, we may not say much because we are still trying to keep our race alive!!! Obama's speech was an insult to the Jews. First we had no hope left during the Holocaust, we were bones, we were being exterminated, put in ovens like loaves of bread. We have been slaves, killed centuries but this is far beyond we were being wiped off the planet and still humans are wanting to exterminate us. Countries did not come in to help us because we were being exterminated, not intill their own countries were being threatend. Those white people that you hate so much, hid us and gave us hope. Those white people developed the underground railroad to help your people to freedom in the North. THIS IS NOT ALL ABOUT YOUR RACE
Disrespect to the Indian, where they had their land stolen and live on reservations with out running water still to this day. How dare you! Lil Dine is angry, IT IS NOT ALL ABOUT YOU!
Now let's talk about the Chinese, they were slaves, hearded like cattle, and killed. Forced to build the railroad that you and I enjoy. WHAT ABOUT THAT RACE!
What is the difference from these other races and some in your race. We don't hate whites to the extent that you do. We realize that history is history, and we only dislike those that are racist. We just do not blame the Whites. In fact it was the Whites that stood beside us and participated in fighting to get us rights and saved our lives.
The Catholics betrayed the Jews and looked away while we where put in ovens to die. Does every Catholic owe me an apology now? No, they did not do it. It is the past, I have to worry about the now. The Pope was a NAZI youth member!
Now, you are the only race that is being discriminated against now. What a joke! Walk a mile in all of our shoes and those within your race that are darker .
If all races cannot come to gether to change things than we will not make this a better world.
I meant this as no disrespect, I meant this as if we are going to make this a better Country the me'isms have to stop. Look at each other on what is in the inside, instead of concentracion. And, I have been called by you a racist, I AM NOT. Just get out of your me me me me syndrome.
Until you see yourself not as a black person, but as an American you are going to have problems. Until you see yourself not as a victim, but that you do have opportunity your hate will continue. It is not about the apology, because we all deserve one. It is about the opportunity and taking it.
So as you you normally do, call anyone a racist who does not agree with you. I want you to know, I am from another race. And, my race will probably be exterminated by the Iran bomb. So get over yourself and join the Human Race.

Hillary Clinton is asking people that paid over the limit if they want their donation back or can she put it in her NY Senate Rate.
Now, rumors to all democrats need to be deleted immediately, because this could cause harm in paying her dept..

I have posted it previously so now it is a blog. Many do not know that my mother was Jewish. And some do not know that some of my family died in concentration camps or that my Great Uncle came up from Brazil, because their daughter had an eye infection and they would not let them off on Ellis Island so they went to South America. My Great Grandfather sent money for medicine, and money to bring them back to Ellis Island. Or some do not know the fear was so deep that they became Christians so their children would not have the burden that they carried. Or, that my Great Aunt had numbers tatooed on her arm. My ancestors were slaves, millions were killed over the centuries and some still live in the Holy land with fear everyday of their lives. I could say, we just don't fit anywhere. I could complain that we are called all sorts of names, I have heard them in both German, Yiddish and English. I could tell about my Grandfather holding a tea pot on a boat at 4 years old, and people dying on that ship. And he never left the State only when my brother died. I could tell you he was a dirt farmer and his wife saved every penny during the depression so their children could go to college. Or that my grandmother could not vote until she was much older, or that she wanted to work in a professional job but it was not fit for a woman. We all have stories of discrimination, we all have hurts, we all have hopes. We are one people, you and I. There are more stories of Asians, Indians, Hispanics and the list goes on. But one thing we have together, we are Americans.
I see the written word and I have heard the voices of racism, and I think I know it a little about it. I don't call out your a racist because someone might not agree with me on this blog. Calling me a racist pains me, and some have. We are Americans, and I have freedom of speech, if they do not like my ideas - they can't see me on a blog, over the wave of these words. They do not know I am of Jewish descent. I never to them you hate because I am a Jew. You wont do this because I am a Jew.
I have been called a racist, when in the blog it had nothing to do with race. My best friend is Black, and even in her race she will be treated badly because her skin is darker than most. I really do not understand it at all, it is so narrow, so small.
My feeling is we can be purple, green, yellow or blue, and the reality is about being an American. The whole beautiful mix of DNA and colors. We are like a painting and we need all the colors to belong together.
When are we all going to stop focusing on the color of our skin? That is my question, that is my hope. I find racists in every color and it makes my heart break.

As many of you are aware, some in the Obama Camp spread rumors trying to divert money away from Hillary Clinton's debt. Innuendos, lies, and pretty much Republican Mob tactics not to get her debt paid. (This message is not about all Obama Supporters, this is just about a few that continue to divide this Party with filthy tactics.
I as a Hillary Supporter have given the max - $2,300, and any money that I continue to give will go to other campaigns that she will be running in. Staten Island in New York where Hillary is a Senator - her funds also went to her New York Campaign Fund. A letter has been sent out to explain where this money will be going to. If Hillary does not run in 2012, she has the option of giving that money to another Democrat running for President. Many of her high dollar contributors will not fund Obama's Campaign due to the way they feel the Obama Campaign ran their operation.
I ask real Democrats to not be turned from a few in the Obama Camp that continue to spread rumors and even lies. Please continue to donate to pay off Hillary Clinton's Debt. It is also been rumored by the same group that PUMA has not brought in close to 5 million and up to help Hillary pay this debt off.
Those that may be new to politics, Democrats have been paying off debts for years and we have always understood as a Party to take care of each other and not burn the other because we may need them to win an election up and down the ticket.
Well, this election is different. I am just assuming it is Chicago Politics of burn, so those of you that are real Democrats in both camps Obama and CLinton, please continue to continue to Hillary Clinton Campaign Debt.
She was there for all of us in the Senate, she stood up to the FISA bill and she will stand up every day for you and I.

Bush Clock:
A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked, "What are all those clocks?"
St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move."
"Oh," said the man, "whose clock is that?"
"That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie."
"Incredible," said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"
St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life."
"Where's Bush's clock?" asked the man.
"Bush's clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan."

MR. RUSSERT: You were not in the Senate in October of 2002. You did give a speech opposing the war. But Senator Clinton’s campaign will say since you’ve been a senator there’s been no difference in your record. And other critics will say that you’ve not been a leader against the war, and they point to this: In July of
`04, Barack Obama, “I’m not privy to Senate intelligence reports. What would I have done? I don’t know,” in terms of how you would have voted on the war. And then this: “There’s not much of a difference between my position on Iraq and George Bush’s position at this stage.” That was July of `04. And this: “I think” there’s “some room for disagreement in that initial decision to vote for authorization of the war.” It doesn’t seem that you are firmly wedded against the war, and that you left some wiggle room that, if you had been in the Senate, you may have voted for it.
SEN. OBAMA: Now, Tim, that first quote was made with an interview with a guy named Tim Russert on MEET THE PRESS during the convention when we had a nominee for the presidency and a vice president, both of whom had voted for the war. And so it, it probably was the wrong time for me to be making a strong case against our party’s nominees’ decisions when it came to Iraq.
I’m sorry, but did he just say the only reason he refused to stand by his principles (opposing the war) was because his party’s nominees had voted for the war resolution???? They got a pass because they were our nominees, but now that he’s running against Hillary its full steam ahead with the attacks on her vote?
WTF?
So what happened in the last three years since he gave Kerry & Edwards a pass?
He joins the Senate.
He votes in lockstep with Hillary when it comes to Iraq
He declares he’s running for president.
And SUDDENLY this is the defining issue of his campaign and he goes after Hillary?
And speaking of John Edwards… why is it we never hear Obama go after John Edwards for his vote for the war?
OR for Edwards’ cosponsorship of that war resolution?
OR for going on one Sunday show after another to beat the drum for going after Saddam?
We hear plenty about Hillary’s vote for the resolution but when it comes to Edwards’ active support for that same resolution…
Ok back to the interview…
MR. RUSSERT: Some involved in the anti-movement have said that in 2004, 2005, 2006 Barack Obama voted to fund the war. Every time there was a proposal to have a fixed date withdrawal you said no, it would be a slap in the face to the American troops, it may create bloodshed and more division, that American credibility was at stake, that you were not a leader in trying to stop the war until you ran for president and got to Iowa and got to New Hampshire and had a sense of the anti-war, war fervor in the Democratic base.
SEN. OBAMA: No.
MR. RUSSERT: Where was the leadership?
SEN. OBAMA: I, I, I disagree with that.
MR. RUSSERT: But you have changed in your support now of withdrawal. You have changed now in your support of cutting off funding.
SEN. OBAMA: But I haven’t changed in my opposition to the war. Look, you know, at the time when we were trying to convene a government in Iraq that would work, it was important, I think, for me and others who opposed the war to hope for the best possible outcome in Iraq.
(emphasis mine)
That bit up there…? If that sounds familiar it’s because it’s the same position Hillary’s held on this issue all along. And that link above showing his voting record as compared to Hillary proves that out.
MR. RUSSERT: I had asked you in one of the debates whether you’d make a commitment to have all American troops out of Iraq by the end of your first term, and you said you couldn’t do that. You said you had to fight al-Qaeda, had to make sure there was not genocide, try to secure the country. How, how many troops do you envision would have to remain in Iraq for some time to come?
SEN. OBAMA: Here’s what I’d do as president: We can get one to two brigades out per month safely. At that pace, we would have all our combat troops out in about 16 months from the time we initiate it. I would like to see it start now. It is not clear that that’s possible, given George Bush’s posture. But 16 months from the time we initiate it, we could have our combat troops out.
The only troops I would have in Iraq would have a very limited mission. Number one, to protect our embassy and our civilian, diplomatic corps. I don’t want Blackwater to be providing that security; I want our U.S. military to providing"to provide that security. I’m very skeptical about the use of private contractors when it comes to our national security. The only other mission, and this is a very narrow one, would be to engage in counterterrorism activity. If al-Qaeda in Iraq is reforming bases there, we should have the capacity to strike them. That would be it. Those would be the only troops that we would deploy.
Ok hang on here… he’s claiming he’d bring out all combat troops BUT he’s going to task our folks left behind in that hell hole with the job of striking at al-Queada? If the combat troops are going is he going to go after AQ with military police?
Embassy guards?
Won’t that take oh I don’t know… COMBAT TROOPS?!
MR. RUSSERT: How many would that be?
SEN. OBAMA: Well, you know, I’m going to leave that up to the, the commanders on the ground, because my job is to set a clear mission for them. Their job is to then tell me, “This is what we need to achieve that mission.”
MR. RUSSERT: But, but"yeah, but we have 165,000 there now. Are we talking 150,000?
SEN. OBAMA: There, there"here’s what I’ll say, Tim. We will have the vast majority of the troops who are there gone. This war will be over; there will be no permanent bases. So when I hear, for example, others say, “I will have all troops out,” well, the fact of the matter is who’s going to protect our embassy? Who’s going to protect our civilian forces? Are these folks suggesting that we’re just going to leave them to wander around the streets and rely on the Iraqi military to do that? Obviously not.
And in"there is a difference, though, between myself and Senator Clinton on a couple of these issues. Number one, she hasn’t given a firm timetable in terms of executing the withdrawal, and I think that’s a problem. I think we have to provide certainty to the Iraqi leadership, so that they know that we are serious about changing course. She’s also suggested that the mission on the ground would be more expansive than the one that I’ve envisioned. And that includes, by the way, at least in an article that she"an interview that she gave in March, that, for example, dealing with Iran and making sure they don’t have influence in Iraq would be one of the missions of our military. I think that is a mistake, and so"because what, what happens is that then presents the possibility of a mission creep, an expansion that would involve more troops than I think is necessary.
Sigh… ahh what the hell - see above.
This interview seems to be a hot topic on the net today. As Taylor Marsh points out, Obama’s criticism of Hillary for including troops to keep Iran’s influence in Iraq out is just silly. She asks (and rightly so!) what Obama will do to contain that influence… sprinkle fairy dust on them? I’ll let her wrap this thing up with something from her website today…
Obama stated the “primary difference” between Clinton and himself on the Iranian Revolutionary Guards is that she wants troops in Iraq to prevent Iran from having an influence inside of Iraq, which Mr. Obama thinks “is a mistake.”According to Mr. Obama, the issue of terrorism must stay on the table, with “incursions into Iraq that are affecting the safety of our troops” needing to be " say it with me " “on the table.” So what is he going to do about those “incursions” if Iran refuses to do anything about them? Will he need U.S. troops to deal with them? If not, how’s he going to stop Iran’s incursion that is affecting our troops, fairy dust?
Oh yeah - one more thing… Can you imagine the shit-storm around here if another candidate had admitted to that their views on Iraq were no different that Bush’s? If they’d gone on Meet the Press, been presented with that statement and failed to deny or correct it????
Food for thought.
`04, Barack Obama, “I’m not privy to Senate intelligence reports. What would I have done? I don’t know,” in terms of how you would have voted on the war.

The most violent abuse on women can be found in the Courts.
Our Justice System never convicts without evidence. This day there was evidence and it happened in the Courtroom. Restraining orders are requested all the time, women hysterical and acting half crazy come in and request them from Judges. Sometimes the women are so distraught that you think that maybe this woman is just plain crazy. The stress is just so knife thin bordering on insanity.
The Chains - Chapter 4
A Court Clerk entered the Courtroom and sat at the right in front of a computer taking notes and recording the hearing, a seasoned Judge sitting on the bench. The Defendant was in orange, chains on his ankles, and on his wrists. He was a good looking man, soft spoken, well groomed. He and his attorney were sitting behind the Defendants table. The Prosecuting Attorney and his clerk sitting at the other. The father of the woman, her brother and the woman who was accusing the Defendant sat right behind the Defendant and his Attorney. An officer stood by the door, and a bailiff sat by the door waiting if the Judge needed him. It was a normal trial, the kind we see every day. No one was prepared for what would happen.
The trial began, only in the trial by 10 minutes, the Court Clerk comes crashing out of the door screaming at the top of her lungs and crying. Two other officers go charging into the Courtroom. The Defendant had turned around swung his arms over the woman's neck and began to squeeze the life out of her. She had passed out, two officers and the bailiff where on top of the man trying to pry the chains off the woman's neck. The Defendant had inhuman strength, and it took all three of the men to finally pry him loose from her. After, the Clerk said that the father had called the Defendant a liar, and the Defendant then tried to kill the woman. She is one of the lucky ones, she got out alive and he went to jail for years. Some women are not so lucky.
My friend from the County Attorney's office would train officers in domestic violence. I attended one of these trainings. Many officers find it very hard to believe that it is not the woman's fault for making a man angry to hurt her. My friend said that there are many officers that are also abusive. How can they protect those that need protected, if some think it is the woman's fault.

In HR, the world of sometimes the worst of human behaviors.
The Rape - Chapter 3
I have been real fortunate in my lifetime, and worked in many settings for the private, public and government sector. It has given me wisdom and sadness. This story I was not the HR person that handled the case, I am aware of it, it happened in a Court Room 3 doors down from my office. It happened on a Saturday, when only arraignments are held for people that have been arrested, and by law have to be arraigned 24 hours after they are incarcerated.
Arraignments - Saturday
The only staff on Saturday's is a prosecuting attorney, a defense attorney if they can afford one, if not during this arraignment one may be assigned for free. A Court clerk and a prosecuting clerk and a Judge.
After arraignments, all incarcerated individuals are gone, the judge is gone, and the court clerk is in her office inputting data into the computer as to the judge's orders. The Prosecuting attorney manages to have sex with the prosecuting clerk right there in the Courtroom on top of the Prosecuting table. A large hard wood table where three chairs are on one side facing the Judge. (If he were there)
So far I am calling this sex, but the details will establish something much more dark. The young Prosecuting Clerk went directly to the hospital because she was bleeding from tears in her vagina. At the hospital it was determined it was rape. Then, the spin began. This young woman had been previously raped as a child and this information was used against her. What happens is, a psychologist is found and paid by the Prosecution. Working in the courts, some are just not to ethical, and will say anything it depends who is paying them. The incident hit the papers, but the psychologist determined she was unstable. The County Prosecutors Office fired her, and the Prosecutor that did the act was given a promotion.
As you all read this and state your opinion, if this was not rape why was the woman bleeding, sustained tears and it was documented in the hospital.
This happens all the time with rape cases, the twisting the turning of truth damaging the victim even more.

As many have guessed women do not stick together, the claws come out and some think they can get ahead walking on the backs of others.
As an HR person, I am asked for reports all the time, this report and what it was used for helped me decide to leave the Company I worked for.
Our CEO came from a pharmaceutical company, we had a great relationship and he always took my advise and tried his best to behave. He also drank and was a recovering alcoholic, nice man, charismatic personality. Everyone loved him. He did somethings though that the prior HR person was fired for because she brought them up. He did not want to hear them. Anyway, he was drinking again and upon my and the Boards advise resigned from the Company. Then we had to find another CEO, this one we found in Australia. He owned his own pharmaceutical company in Austrialia and sold it to an American Pharmaceutical Company.
He disliked women and only wanted to be surrounded with YOUNG women. He hired a young woman to be his assistant, and she did not even know how to use Word or Word Perfect. I never figured out what she actually did for him, but she was on call 24 hours a day. He asked our HR department to produce a report that reported all the women in the company and their age. The CFO assistant found the report on the copier, the CEO must have had the assistant make copies. Upon my investigation, he took this report to all the Vice Presidents and Presidents meeting and the discussion was getting rid of all the women over 40. One of the Vice Presidents in Finance came to me and told me what had happened. I told him not to worry about it, his wife worked in Marketing, that women over 40 were in a protected class and no one in their right mind would lay off all the women in this category.
I called the CEO assistant for a meeting with the CEO. I could not believe this is what had occurred. I was able to see the CEO, and ask him about the rumor, not stating whom had told me. Then the CEO opened his mouth, he was indeed terminating every woman over 40 to give the Company a new image. I expressed to him the law, and he thought the law was bull shit. I went home and thought about this situation and the knowledge that was going to be lost if he continued his plan. I realized after the CFO assistant called me at home, her concerns about this report. And the CFO had given his notice of leaving the company. I too decided that I need not be in this mess, because the CEO would never be held accountable, but I would be the one taking the blame for a law suit. I gave my notice.
The CEO assistant proceeded to go to a well known attorney in this area, needless to say this cost the company millions of dollars.
Women over forty are let go all the time, worker's close to retirement are let go all the time. This is the US we live in. To file a EEO suit, first you have to file with the EEO office. Then you wait for a letter from the EEO office allowing you to sue. Women walk away because of the time and expense, and have accepted the discrimination. It is painful, costs women jobs, money and respect.

I thought I would share with you some women's experiences in the work place. My job is Human Resources, and I am sure if you talk with any human resource professional you will hear many stories. Some ridiculous, others tragic.
I was working for an American Company that had sales all over the world. A most respected company, and has received many awards. Scientists from around the world, engineers the best in their field. It was a company that many sought to be hired there.
CHAPTER ONE - The Breast Pump
It all began when one of the top sales women, became pregnant. She took her 12 week Family Medical Leave Act time, and was returning to work. The Vice President of Sales called me into the President of Sales' office, there sat 3 other males, one President of Sales, and other Vice Presidents from the company. The woman out on maternity leave's name was brought up and they were having a real problem of allowing her to come back to work. They did not want her back. Serious faces, I explained to them that under the FMLA law she had a right to her job. They looked at each other, very quite and twitched around in their chairs. I again asked, what is the problem with her coming back to work? I also mentioned that she had one of the highest sales in the Department. What is the matter?
Then they began, I was so shocked, surprised, and embarrased as to the problem that it took me a moment to gather my senses. The problem was: she was breast feeding her child and they felt she could not do the job because it made it impossible.
Here I was sitting in front of gown men, and I explained that breast feeding a child does not diminish her ability to make sales. They asked, what is going to happen when the baby was hungry, was she just going to drop everything and go home. I asked, she does not have to take her baby to work with her to breast feed her child and she does not have to drop everything to go home. As they all looked at me with blank expressions on their faces, I had to explain the breast pump and how it works and how milk is stored. They asked questions, and I did feel uncomfortable that I had to tell grown men about the breast pump. Some of the questions were very detailed. I again expressed that it was the law that this woman can come back to work.
The President of Sales was very dissatisfied with my answer. He began with rationalizations, that his wife stays home and women should stay home when they give birth to a child. I explained to him, that today this does not have to stop a woman from working. This was the law, and we as a Company would abide by it. I also expressed that if she was terminated for this reason, I would have to write a Report and it would go to the CEO of the Company. I also expressed to those silly men, that the only way a person will be terminated from this company is if they are not able to do the job.
As I left the office, the one vice president closed the door and their discussion of breast milk continued. The woman came back to work, and the first inclusion back into the Company was a Las Vegas Convention. While the sales people were at the convention, I received a call from the pin-head Vice President, he was concerned about her pumping the milk from her breast. I again expressed to him, this was none of his business what she did, and the only concern was sales.
The men put every barrier that could in front of the woman, sending her on assignments all over the United States and not the one she had before close to her home. I gain addressed the President of Sales, and asked him why is this being done. He gain rationalized his opinion, and I documented his behavior. Less than 4 weeks later, the Sales President fired her for not making the sales. First, the sales woman had relationship contacts in her area, she was having to establish cold call contacts around the United States and not left in one area long enough to make a relationship. The Sales President did not notify me prior to her being fired, I was notified 3 weeks after she was terminated. He forgot to give me the termination notice slip.
This is not just a random, unique situation. This happens every day in some company, some where.

When members of Congress from Arizona return home this summer, they need to hear why stopping further media consolidation must be a top priority.
By acting now, you can ensure that there are thousands of petitions ready to be delivered when Rep. Gabrielle Giffords sets foot back in your district for the summer congressional recess.
Help Stop Big Media: Sign the Petition Now
In May, the Senate voted to stop Big Media by passing a "resolution of disapproval," which rejected the Federal Communications Commission's latest effort to consolidate local media.
We won in the Senate. We can win again in the House.
To do this, we need to get 100 co-sponsors in the next 100 days to support the House version of the bill (H.J. Res. 79). This summer, we'll be delivering hundreds of thousands of petitions at in-district meetings with key members of Congress. Make sure your voice is heard.
Help Us Get 100 Co-Sponsors in 100 Days.
Sign the Petition Today
Tens of thousands of people already have signed the petition, and 30 members of Congress have agreed to co-sponsor the bill. But we need to do more to swing a majority in the House.
And we don't have much time. We plan to deliver the signatures in August, when elected representatives leave D.C. for the summer.
Congress may be about to go on break, but we aren't going to rest.
Thanks for your help,

Please sign the petition to level the playing field for working Americans
It's plain as day: Workers are struggling in this country.
I've seen it. You've seen it. Today's workplaces are tilted in favor of lavishly paid CEOs, who get golden parachutes while middle-class families struggle to get by.
But it doesn't have to stay that way.
I'm writing you today because you and I have the opportunity to restore the balance. The Employee Free Choice Act would give American workers more power to demand better wages, health care and working conditions.
Click here to sign the petition for the Employee Free Choice Act today.
We'll be straight with you: Passing this bill won't be easy. Right now, corporate interests are fighting the Employee Free Choice Act with everything they've got. They're protecting the status quo " a rigged system which allows employers to intimidate, harass and even fire workers who try to demand better conditions and pay.
So over the next few months, Working America is going to make a stand. We're going to show the new president and Congress there are 1 million people who want to give hardworking families a chance to get ahead. Can you be one?

Better health care, job security and benefits " it's all about an opportunity to pursue our dreams. It's all about building better lives than we started out with, and that shouldn't just be available to the rich and powerful.
When you sign, be sure to upload your picture, too. We'll share it with lawmakers, so they can see the faces of everyone who cares about this issue. Together, we can change the law, the economy and our futures for the better.

I receive e-mails for actions. In Arizona we finally did get a Clean Action Election in. Maybe if your state does not have it, this could come in handy.
The Latested full e-mail I received is below:
Madame Speaker, A Word
Several months back we called on you to help us gather votes in a contest that would send a question about Clean Elections to all the Democratic and Republican candidates for president and record their response. Your participation was terrific and we ended up getting a response to our question from several candidates. Now we have a similar kind of opportunity. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is going to be a featured speaker at the Netroots Nation convention next weekend and will be taking questions -- specifically, the questions that receive the most votes here. There is a question up asking Speaker Pelosi if she will commit to passing full public financing of elections in the next session of Congress.
Click here to vote for the question, and help put Pelosi on record supporting swift action on Clean Elections legislation in Congress. Pelosi in on the record supporting Clean Elections, now we need to get her to commit to a course of action in the near future to advance similar legislation in the House.Click here to vote!
The People You'll Meet
The Clean Elections laws across the country have helped people who wouldn't otherwise have the resources to run for office and serve as legislators without having to worry about placating the special interests who would have otherwise funded their campaigns. But who are these people who make up the more than 220 Clean Elections legislators? We thought it was time to tell their story.
We'll be running a series of profiles on Clean Elections legislators in places like Arizona, Maine, and Connecticut. In fact, this is Connecticut's first full cycle and participation is at record levels --upwards of 80 percent of candidates are using the Clean Elections system. First up, meet two Arizona Clean Elections candidates, Sen. Meg Burton-Cahill (D) and Rep. David Lujan (D).
Sen. Meg Burton-Cahill is an artist by trade with a passion for local politics and public policy. She served three terms in the Arizona House of Representatives before winning her state Senate seat, for a combined eight years as a state legislator. From her first involvement with Clean Elections, Burton-Cahill has seen the value in the system. "I think that publicly financed campaigns opens up the playing field and really drives in many more people who may be very well qualified to craft good sound public policy, but maybe not comfortable or well-versed at dialing for dollars," said Cahill.
Rep. David Lujan is also firmly in the Clean Elections corner, having opted into the program in his first run for the state House in 2004. Now in his second term in the legislature, Lujan focuses on education, children's health, and safety issues. There's a great story in his profile about his experience collecting qualifying contributions -- go here to read it.
Up and Down the Coast
While efforts continue at the California Assembly to advance a Clean Elections bill for legislative races and possibly for Secretary of State, other efforts are sprouting up around the state to win Clean Elections at a more local level. In Marin County, activists in San Rafael are pushing a proposal to offer a full public financing of elections option for city council races. They are lighting up the letters to the editor pages with arguments in favor of the system. Meanwhile, efforts continue to put together a proposal for a Clean Elections law for Los Angeles, whose mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, has shown support for Clean Elections in the past -- notably in his endorsement of the 2006 statewide Clean Elections ballot initiative. To learn more about these efforts and get involved -- particularly if you live in one of these two areas -- go visit the California Clean Money Campaign.

I receive e-mails for actions. In Arizona we finally did get a Clean Action Election in. Maybe if your state does not have it, this could come in handy.
The Latested full e-mail I received is below:
