Is ANSWER planning a protest over Russia's invasion of Georgia? Does anyone know? Their website doesn't seem to have anything since July.
As I warned in my earlier blog, DC could either write a reasonable gun law, or it would have one written for them that they would not like.

What's with all the frivolous attacks on one another? Why is it that people feel the need to attack someone when the issue is neutral in nature? Heck - Vidya and I do not get along, yet I said something nice about her recent post on VPs. Do you guys really have to use EVERY opportunity to offend one another? At least wait until they say something WORTH attacking.

Read More »Bigots have, thus far, successfully blocked legislation protecting the transgendered from discrimination, and have forced a referendum. A judge sided with the bigots on a legal technicality stemming from a delay in filing a grievance against the petition that triggered the referendum.
I am hoping, given how liberal Montgomery County is, that even if the referendum goes off, that the measure will pass. Nevertheless, it's something we need to keep an eye on.
