I found this non-partisan poll analysis website http://www.electoral-vote.com/ during the 2004 cycle. Also, this one http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ really breaks down the individual races and still has primary results posted for those interested. Either should be good resources for us.

Keep the Faith and keep the faith. The populist revolution has begun!

Both Good Sources

I watch RealClearPolitics pretty closely. They not only cover the Presidential campaign polls, but also the Senate races. They go back several election cycles, too. I only wish the articles they link reflected a little more progressive views. They tend to support (or at least link) the more conservative writers and mediums.

That is a very accurate assessment, IMHO.

And watching all left-wing polls is better how? That only serves to create the echo-chamber effect which is one of the many reasons why the Bush Administration is such a dismal failure.

How about we watch all the polls. I'm sure the presumptive nominee's staff is.

How does citing two poll analysis websites make me all of sudden sound like Rush Limbaugh? Would not a fair-minded liberal want to hear all sides of an issue? Unless, of course, one is not fair minded and is nothing more than a poltical hack attempting to progress their own agenda, like Rush Limbaugh.

IMHO, if you limit yourself to only one viewpoint or one side of an issue, whether it be liberal or conservative, that makes you a one-dimensional idealogue. I don't care which side of the proverbial aisle an idea comes from. If it works for the betterment of we 300 million Americans, then it is a good idea.

I am a Democrat and I am voting for a Democrat on 4NOV08. Can you honestly say the same?

As far as Sen. Obama (D-IL) "parroting [Limbaugh's] lies", that statement is totally without merit. I trust Sen. Obama's, or even Sen. Clinton's or any of the former Democratic candidates except former Sen. Gravel's (D-AK), judgement, for that matter, far more than I would Rush Limbaugh's.

I hate to sound like Dana Perino on this but, that post does not warrant a repsonse. But I am not Dana Perino. This is undoubtedly the most ludricrous thing I've seen you post and the real shame is I think you're smarter than that.

I understand that you're upset about Sen. Clinton not being the presumptive nominee. I felt quite similar when my first choice, Sen. Biden (D-DE) dropped out. And I did not nearly have to go through what must've been a gut-wrenching process of realization because my first choice dropped out so early.

But you're either a Democrat or you're not. You're either going to vote for a Democrat on 4NOV08, or you're not. And if you're not, why aren't you at Sen. McCain's or your third party candidate's website posting or doing something positive as opposed to being here making silly, unsubstantiated claims as you've done here? Have a little dignity, sir.

Then you certainly won't be voting for Sen. McCain. Who does that leave? Let's see, there are the Nader-Nuts, the Paultards, the money-worshipping Libretarians; all good for about 1%-2% of the popular vote. God Bless and good luck to you whomever you choose.

Then you're whining for the sake of whining and if you're not going to vote, then you have no logical nor legitimate reason to whine. As far as equating Sen. Obama's rhetoric with Chancellor Hitler, you appear to be as insane, or insanely jealous of someone or some thing, as your posts indicate. The only "racist guttersnipe" you should concern yourself with is the one that stares at you in the mirror, Mr. Carter.

While it is certainly your perogative as to whether or not you vote and whom you vote or do not vote for, if you don't, you're irrelevant and have no right to complain about anything.

You know, that made more sense than anything else I've seen you post. Fair enough. The last word is yours, Mr. Carter.

well count me suspicious

While Taegan Goddard one of the people who had a hand in founding this site (I think and you can offer up proof if I am incorrect) and he is left leaning (a good thing with me). The problem with this polls and statistics goes back to a familiar phrase for database managers:

Junk in = junk out.

Sure he consolidates all these various polls ( the Gallup, the Rasmussen, etc. most of which are neocon GOP operated and owned--most of which skew their data in favor of GOP candidates and all of which poll to land lines thus excluding a huge portion of our population who now only own and use cell and VoIP phones.

So what if we have a summary of their trashy irrelevant GOP slanted data? Do that make it any more accurate or representative of American opinion?

the answer is NO

If you are correct and these polls are slanted even a smidgen to the GOP, then we are headed for a landlside win on 4NOV08. Thank you for your input.
