This world is a dangerous mess and millions are following a dream based on words only - no experience. It takes experience to make a dream into reality.

How exactly does Barack Obama think he is going to ride into Washington and change everything.

There are those who say Clinton could never be his vice because it would contradict his ideals of change - well what about Kennedy, Kerry, Daeschle, Hart, Richardson, Edwards and every other superdelegate who has been a part of washington over the years. Does his change include changing them too.

I just don't get how they can support someone who says they are part of the problem and have to go.

That is another reason why I do not believe Barack Obama. Is change is only a dream - it cannot possibly become a reality, unless he is wiling to throw over all those who supported him he is no more about complete change than Hillary or anyone who ever ran for office.

I prefer the slower, realistic plans to change the problems in washington of HIllary Clinton - she recognizes that our country was founded and has been successful on a systems of checks and balances and it made us the greatest nation in the world. She has not ever pointed a finger at washington and said washington is bad - as obama always does. She says the current administration is bad. Maybe she can remember a former better time, like the 90s while Obama was very young then.

I don't believe in his change or his dreams - I do not see how they can become reality without the support of all those insiders he claims to want to get rid of - yet they have supported him.

No thanks, I'll take experience as the way to turn dreams into reality over idle words of inexperience any day

it has to

Change has to start somewhere, and it might as well be me.

Obama has the majority of pledged delegates and has won the most contests. That will not change even including Florida and Michigan. The supers can, if they choose, override the will of those voters. I don't think they can make a legitimate argument for doing that, but they can, if they choose to do so.

So, I am simply asking that Clinton supports dig deep in their soul and support Obama if he gets the nomination. With either, neither will win.
should I dig so deep into my soul

that I vote for a person that I believe will hurt this country? I am so sorry to say this but I do not trust Obama to run this country. From his lack of experience to his poor judgement in associates and questionnable character that has come out with Rev Wright. I just do not believe he will be the person we need.

So what do I do? Does that make me a bad democrat to have such strong feelings? I don't think so.

And I could say the same about my beliefs about Hillary. Should I trust someone who did nothing to stop Walmart from union busting, or someone who is for the death penalty, or someone who supports roving wiretaps and limiting habeas corpus? See? Both sides can find fault if they choose to look for it. Without Hillary's supporters, Obama will not win. Without his supporter, she won't either.
Then vote your conscious

I respect that. You have every right to do that. If Clinton wins and you feel so strongly that she is the wrong person and will further destroy this country then you have every right - no every obligation not to vote for her.

I prefer Obama's experience

He didn't support the war from day one.

And unlike Hillary, he didn't vote in favor of cluster bombs.

And speaking of "dangerous" I sure the heck don't want someone in office who has run her campaign as poorly as Clinton has. She is lucky that is belongs to the financially elite--otherwise her campaign would have folded in February.
He wasn't there to support the war
By Cheryl/Michigan May 21st 2008 at 11:01 am EDT
he didn't get the misleading reports.

Just like he wasn't in the pew to hear the exact sermons where Rev Wright called us kkk of A, and hate filled, and white supremists.

He wasnt' there to know Rezko's business either - he only worked for him for 5 hours. That is bull. Rezko has donated to his campaigns for years (See Chicago Sun articles under Rezko and Obama)

He somehow always puts himself in a position to claim deniability.

I rather have his lack of experience and better judgement then to have to poor judgement of Hillary Clinton. She can't even run her own campaign how can she run the country?
Do you really think

That Barack Obama would still be standing if he had to take on the press or hear the critism everytime his spouse said something.

He couldn't even handle the last debate without getting frustrated and stumbling for words.

He would never have held up to the media or the pundits or even the little criticms that he blasts her with.

I do have to hand it to him. His staff WAS excellent - at least until Penn left. I would take Clinton's current staff anyday over his. Penn was awful.

You should look at the primaries since Ohio. Barack has been blown away in votes and delegates since then. In the big states that will produce the electoral votes needed. The caucuses were made for him and are discriminatory to the groups that support Clinton. They usually represent about 10% of the vote from that state. In an open election - when the elderly, the handicapped, the blue collar workers, etc get out and vote she will have their support - Obama might not

won't let you go, you will be good for the campaign.
No

I don't think it's our bags that should be packed. THe DNC should pack their's for what they have done to this election. They should take the majority of the media with them - especially the pundits calling the shots who are also super-delegates AND many on the DNC.

They need to pack their bags. Our democratic system DEMANDS a new overhaul and we need to be there to demand it.

my friend

No championship was one alone by a single person, it takes a team, Barack will gather a team you can all respect, before we condem, let us see the team.
Just a simple question
By Cheryl/Michigan May 21st 2008 at 11:04 am EDT
And will that team consist of the "experienced" washington insiders that he constantly claims has to be changed? YOu bet they will.

Or maybe he'll call on Rezko to heal our real estate market problems. Wright has offered to be his vp.

Seriously, he claims that all washington insiders are bad so who is he going to gather? More personal friends like bush did. Like his friend that headed up FEMA. That worked really well.

Obama is a hypocrite if he uses even one Washington insider as part of his team and a fool if he doesn't.

is becoming the Independent party. When listening to Obama's speech last night when he thanked the Independents, you heard the crowd in Iowa respond. The Independents are picking the Democratic nominee . . . the DNC is deaf and blind. The Democrat party used to be the party of the poor people, now it is the party of the affluent people . . . we used to call them Republicans.
