As Democrats, we take pride in our commitment to working families.  When workers are standing up for their rights, we're standing right there with them.

So, as a show of respect for the union workers currently engaged in a labor dispute at America's Center in St. Louis, the Missouri Democratic Party has made the decision to change the location of its annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner.

The Jefferson-Jackson Dinner will now be held at the Renaissance Grand Hotel in St. Louis -- just across the street.  The date (April 5) and the time (5 p.m. reception/6:30 p.m. dinner) will remain the same.

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause, but we will never waver in our commitment to Missouri's working men and women.

If you have not yet reserved your ticket, it's not too late. Please see the updated invitation below.

Anything with Claire McCaskill in it is pure BS, the woman is a Democrat hating jerk and should be banned from the party forever

I suppose Bill is one of those people who would have voted for McCaskill's opponent in 2006--the Republican Jim Talent. Mr. Talent was so sexist and racist that I saw a debate between him and Claire McCaskill where Talent bullied and overtalked McCaskil like a Bill O-Reilly to the point that I got up from my couch, went to my computer, to McCaskill's site and donated $100 to her campaign. Then later in the fall I made MoveOn calls to help get her elected. That was LONG before I knew of Obama and before he was even running for President.
