Time to Cut Spending

. . . military spending that is! (Does anybody really believe it's "defense" spending?)
One thing that hardly gets mentioned is how we have military bases all around the world: Japan, Germany, Italy, certain, eh, middle eastern countries. It must cost an enormous amount of money and c'mon, what are we, the world police?
Another thing: the F-22? Do we really need that? I mean, I don't think we're getting attacked by terrorists for lack of adequate air power.
Missile defense shield. Great! Except a prominent group of physicists recently said it is unworkable.
Good thing we still have one industry left: weapons. Must be why we like Israel so much.
Well, to conclude, I don't see any meaningful action on this from Republicans or Democrats. Good thing there are more than two parties :)
