Post from Dems in 2008:
The media could force the McCain camp to answer questions about Palin

The media needs to force answers from Palin by talking publicly about all the information that they've found (except any personal issue like the baby). By bringing up all the issues they will force the McCain camp to respond.

Unless they want to have someone like her running our country, they need to hit her the way they hit Obama for the last 6 months. You can't assume people will do their own research.

For those that think we shouldn't concern ourselves with Sarah Palin, she is what motivates the base and changed the landscape of the election. Conservatives support her more than McCain and they need to know what she stands for. To try to ignore her would be a mistake in my opinion.

Palin ???? What are her values
By David Lester Young Sep 6th 2008 at 11:33 am EDT (Updated Sep 6th 2008 at 11:33 am EDT)
What are her Republican views other than pro gun lobby, anti abortion, and a few other issues little is know about her. What qualifies her for being a VP.

What are her Constitutional values, are they like Bush using CEO autocratic Executive Power without due process protections. What does she think of Guantanamo, Abu Graith, torture, internment camps, Patriot Act, Human Rights, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties. These are things the media must check on.

Would she bypass environmental laws "AT WILL" if she becomes President like Bush.

Most of all is she another Bush rather than a McCain. I have a feeling she is.

What is thee change?

She is the one that is gathering attention. How many more times can we listen to John McCain's war record. He was a POW and he deserves respect, but what has he done for the average person, or even to help veterans in the past almost 40 yrs. NOTHING. He is a rich(via wife's holdings) GOP who will only help the same people who have been getting all the tax breaks all along. If he happens to win, Sarah will be a Vice , second , she will do as told. She will in no way shake up or reform the system in anyway that would help the average family.
For now though, she is grabbing the attention. She is interesting for sure, because we heard that same speech from McCain for over a year. She may ,to some, offer something they think represents change, but it's just a shell game. The cards are stacked and the average person will not get anything better. People learn what she would, if she could, enforce. You will have no right to an opinion unless it coincides with hers. Get ready to give up Freedom. I guess that is the change they are talking about.

Unless... well he is 72. When 30% of vice presidents have eventually became president, we should be worried.
