Post from Dems in 2008:
Sarah Palin's little experience

So now the republicans are saying Sarah has enough experience to be president in the event something were to happen to McCain. I'm 42, and although Sarah is 44, I have hair on my chest with more experience than her. Instead of being realistic, their argument is so disingenuous.

Obviously this is just a choice to add spice to the ticket and they'll spin it any way they can. She's still a Bush supporter and an extreme conservative.

The straight talk express is off the rails

You have to consider this the first executive decision for both Barack & McCain.

Well, we all knew that Obama's judgment was superior. His choice of Biden was just another confirmation of Barack's strength and ability. In the terrible case of his own inability to perform, he made sure there was another strong, mature, ready and able mind & personality ready to step in and complete the task. A superior choice.

But I will admit, I am stunned at the incompetence of this choice by McCain.

Just what could he have been thinking? Early signs of dementia? Or just more idiocy from pandering John?

Sounds like change to me

Palin is the only one with administrative experience. Think about it. Sounds like change to me.

OK, I thought about it. Nope, no change.

That's one way to spin it. 1 1/2 years as governor of Alaska? A mayor for a town of 8000? It doesn't fly.
